I liked this game so much as a kid that I was always want to play something like Dodgeball but with frisbees whenever we were all playing outside.
lol that’s a good idea on the dodgeball with frisbees… haven’t seen anyone do that before lol
We didn't use frisbees, we had a big pile of old ice cream lids from the big bucket sized tubs of ice cream we used to get as kids. Each of us would have about ten discs to throw at each other.

Another one of my favorites that I had as a kid. Deadlier disc is a fairly recent hack of this game that makes it even better.
The movies are entertaining ( the original being great and “ Legacy “ being alright) . This game is how “ some” movies games used to be, just an amazing time reliving the movie it’s based on. Other honorable mentions for great movie games are “ Batman” ( NES) , “ Batman Returns “ (SNES and Genesis, they are different) , “ Mighty Morphin Power Rangers : The Movie” ( Genesis) and “ Jurassic Park “ ( Genesis)

@@emmajade9507 yeah this is a good one… snafu type game should of happened… with the cycles… I loved the Batman games and usually still do up to more modern consoles. They always seem to be well done lol.
I actually had the game before I saw the movie Tron. I always thought the red guy (Sark) on the cover was supposed to be Tron because Tron was red in the game. I still worship the sound of the Recognizer and the sound of the de-rezzing. Had an old vaporizer as a kid that sounded exactly like the Recognizer and it got to the point where I couldn't sleep without that sound.
I had this game and loved it as a kid. I didn’t watch any tron movies until I was an adult. There is a fairly recent Homebrew Deadlier Disc which is really good!
The features I enjoyed about this game was to use the disc as shield and return the disks to oponents (the white disks can break your shield). Also I recall there was a way to call back your disk, so I used to throw it and call it back inmediatly after killing the oponent.
I always try to show all the basic stuff in these videos. I know inside the shield but maybe not in this one? I’d have to go back and watch lol. I don’t think I called a disc back but yes you can and it’s a good habit. I love deadlier disc where the disc kills on the way back as well.
@@vucubcaxis The white discs home in on you. None of the discs can break your shield.
Pressing the keypad after throwing your disc was how you recalled it. Also, pressing the Block key a second time after putting up your shield caused you to duck.
This game is so much fun... the only Tron game I like more than this is the Arcade game Discs of Tron (1983) by Bally Midway MCR-III
Yeah tron games are just cool! Last year at prge I played the arcade game for the first time with the joystick… can’t remember the name at the moment. Its fun!
@@intellivisiongamer If it had the joystick and the spinner dial, it was just called Tron. It had four minigames.
