Another lovely place to visit is Duxford air museum just off the M11 it's massive massive car park for the bus. Well worth a visit ✈️
The sound of the Lanc sends shivers through me everytime I hear one.
We’ve not been to Duxford for over 20yrs it’s back on the to do list!!
It was very sad to hear about the spitfire pilot who sadly lost his life at RAF connersby RIP he was also a typhoon pilot 😢

My dad drove the wee truck that had bombs on to the Lancaster they were then put on the plane he went into the airforce duering the war I have a large photo of the Lancaster with my dad and all the men standing in front of it I was so proud of my dad my dad is no longer with us

We visited in April this year really enjoyed it. The Lancaster was in the hanger though sadly on the day we went.
That’s a shame but it’s great that they have it there capable of taxiing 😀❤️

Cosford is good, it's free to get in you just pay for parking .. not sure on motorhomes though ..
Also just up the road Shropshire Ironworks or also known as Shorpshire sculpture park is amazing .. further up the road Llangollen... some lovely things to see in and around Shropshire.
