We loved visiting Ironbridge but once you've done things there, you're all done. Everything closes around 5pm and it's so quiet. Only saving grace was a damn fine fish and chip shop and the bus service for a tootle around the area.
😂😂 funniest video to date, you couldn't make this up...yapping dogs, noisy motorbikes, & cars, getting the date of the bridge wrong, Helen talking on her phone while James is giving out info....very funny , Benny Hill would be proud. ( On a serious note, please try the cinnamon powder and honey in hot water...a natural anti inflammatory recipe and it works ) ps..got the wife hooked on you two now 😂 keep doing what your doing, it's natural and entertaining.

Ironbridge looks nice and the weather was nice for you. The meat in that pork pie looked very grey to me. If you want a top notch pork pie, get yourself to Percy Turners in Jump. Unbeatable imho. If you pay a visit to maison du bierre at the Elsecar Heritage Centre on a Thursday night you'll get free pie and peas. Nigel the owner gets them from Percy Turners, just buy one of the excellent beers on offer and the pie and peas are free. You and Helen would love it there.

Thanks for this blog. A few weeks back while travelling in my motorhome. I stayed free in pub carpark at the next bridge down(the actual road bridge). They had a section just for vans and motorhomes.
I like mine room temp I like mine cold ,gangsta rap no its bangra i think you pair cracks me up. 😂😢 Those bikes i feared the worst but Moaned about the cars wow I could literally biting your lip😅 Feel your hip pain hellybobs, I suffer hip pain after years of so called keeping fit can't sit for to long keeping mobile helps ,over do it and the pain horrendous next day😢. Great vlog mate 👍 Hellybobs get some volterol rubbed in those hips then climb up the nearest mountain could be a sponsor watching 😅

Fantastic vlog. Ironbridge looks a fantastic little place. Another of my favourite channels, Wandering by choice, went there several weeks back and it was so much quieter. I think Shropshire looks fabulous and I’ve never been but definitely should. There were some stunning cottages but let me tell you, living in a tourist hotspot is a pain in the backside 😮😂 I’m absolutely with you on yappy dogs, wailing kids and noisy/popping exhausts. Motorbikes I don’t mind so much. I’m with you on Kelly’s ice cream too. I’ve had better supermarket own brand. Tell Helen that her hair always looks fantastic. She always looks so lovely ☺️ Her just got out of bed hair was very rock chick 😂

I did chuckle with anticipation when I heard that bloke with a small winkle revving his bike 😂 They can't serve pork pies at room temperature but you could have waited while it warmed in the sun a minute 😂😂😂😂 It is that bad Helen! I can tell by how much walking up hill was making you limp! The hip op is really easy and after not even being able to lift my foot up onto my footrest I am now riding my motorbike with ease! Really Helen, it's so worth doing, you wouldn't be sorry 😊 That was really enjoyable, cheers 😊 Hope you're enjoying your little holiday 😮💜
We were in Ironbridge the week before you visited. The Ironbridge pasties from the pork pie shop are really lovely as well as the pork pies. We sat on the same bench as you when ate your ice cream, but we had a pasty. It is a beautiful place to visit and is only about 25 mins from where I live. Helen, I hope you feel better, you could tell you were not feeling yourself.
Last week I had pork pie and mushy peas at home and I was surprised to discover that I didn't have any mint sauce. Eek! However, I did have a jar of sweet mint jelly, so i decided to give that a go instead. Oh my! It was delicious. So from now on it's going to be the condiment of choice to accompany pie and peas. Don't knock it, until you've tried it ;-).

I detected that both of you were somewhat floundering with the heat so imagine how a 71 year old guy with Cardiac failure and Diabetes would cope. The whole of the severn valley is beautiful and glad you visited ironbridge. You should head down to bridgenorth which is also a lovely place with a high and low town connected by a cliff railway .head to bewdley too and the best way to see the severn valley is by train on the steam rly .great vid
It's very quiet where my flat resides in Newhall one of the places where you can still hear the bird chirping away etc since covid it's gotten too noisy again

Just another in a long line of places that I somehow havnt visited yet...despite thinking I was pretty well-travelled in this country. Clearly not. Watching your videos James really reminds me that none of us can see EVERYTHING in the U.K in our lifetimes. I suppose my travelling has mostly been in the south and west country. What IS IT...with those sort of "chocolate box" places...and MOTORBIKES...though?! Rye is the same...beautiful ancient town on the river...infested with bloody noisy motorbikes! Hope you are both enjoying... "That Luhnden" Remember...come "Saaahf" of the river...it's much better 😂 Particularly Greenwhich. 😁 So much to see and do there. You can get a boat straight to Greenwich Pier from Westminster or London Bridge.

Stayed there in a cottage a few years back , stank a bit of damp though as because of the steepness of the gorge houses get flooded quite often..

The whole of the severn valley is beautiful and glad you visited ironbridge. You should head down to bridgenorth which is also a lovely place with a high and low town connected by a cliff railway .head to bewdley too and the best way to see the severn valley is by train on the steam rly .great vid
It's very quiet where my flat resides in Newhall one of the places where you can still hear the bird chirping away etc since covid it's gotten too noisy again
I know how Helen feels.we wait all year for warm weather then when it comes it wipes us out. Xx

You can get a boat straight to Greenwich Pier from Westminster or London Bridge.
Plenty of nice places nearby aswell Bridgnorth Is nice with vernacular railway and Severn valley railway. Have fun
