Damn, you are putting miles on that thing. Glad it’s holding up for you. We’re in the market for a 2024 palisade calligraphy for my wife. Test driving one later today. Happy to hear they can handle that mileage with no issues. Doubt we’ll get that many miles on ours but you never know.
I traded my Cadillac xt5 for the Hyperwhite Caligraphy. As a lifelong car guy and I guy who sold cars many years ago, I believe the Palisade is one of the best values in SUVs (what you get) and damn, its niice
I have 2023 calligraphy with exact same color exterior and interior. No issues with the vehicle. But no vehicle is perfect. Here are my minor complains. 1) No power folding mirrors, 2) No sunglass holder. That little cabin watch mirror is useless, 3) I hate auto shutting off engine. It should be off by default. Its a nightmare when you are trying to park in the garage and it keeps shutting off. Even a slight more pressure on the break paddle and it shuts off the engine. 4) No wireless apple car play and android auto. I fixed this problem with an amazon dongle. 5) Sun shades missing in 3rd row windows. Other than these minor issues, This vehicle is AMAZING. I hope Hyundai adds these missing features in next gen palisade.
I'm surprised Hyundai decided to remove the power folding mirror in a calligraphy model for the USA. It will get that and wireless car play/android auto for the refreshed 2025. The new 2024 Santa Fe has those features on the Limited trim.
I bought a 2021 Palisade hyper white SE with 15k miles. The previous owner put remote start on it from Hyundai and 20 inch rims and tires from Hyundai for 29,500. This truck is amazing like brand new I been able to get 30mph on the highway that is a fact!!! I might not have the fancy leather and Big screen but I’m happy.
Caleb, you said you were leaving a link for the all weather matts from Amazon, but I dont see any link.. I am considering the 2024 model same color as yours, really good review I think I feel better after watching your vid about buying Hyundai Palasade.
We just purchased a Subaru Ascent Touring, honestly price, value and quality Subaru wins. The Hyundai and Kia gets so much love (for good reason they offered a competitive option against the Tahoe etc) but after owning two Kia’s and one Hyundai and now our third Subaru, Subaru hands down all day. While the warranty was good on the Kia our Sorento needed more than a few +$200 repairs.
Bought a 2021 Subaru Outback and have had nothing but issues. We bought it new. Now the electrical is going. I loved Subaru but I’m seriously disappointed. I bought one because of the high safety standards and longevity. Won’t buy another.
@@historygal7wow I’m sorry to hear that. Sadly every manufacturer has a few lemons from time to time. I’m on my third Subaru and knock on wood no problems on any of them. ❤ if you’ve been having so many issues you may want to check into lemon law in your area.
We have the 2021 calligraphy White pearl and up until the paint started peeling I absolutely loved it but now 4 years in, and paint should last longer than 4 years. Hyundai is saying they're not covering it because it's out of warranty which is terrible cuz it peels off for no apparent reason, so now we're having to deal with that issue. But other than that I would have loved buying another.... lost a customer for life cuz I keep my cars for Long after it's paid off.
I love the Tesla (2022 mY long range at 35k miles). Despite the drop in costs for teslas, it’s been a fantastic family vehicle. 3 cross country trips, minimal to no issues. Biggest upside is the over the air updates that fix and modernize features and new software seamlessly. FSD is def not worth it but at current Tesla prices they’re a no brainer. Wife wants gas hence telluride or palisade.
my advice is to change/flush transmission fluid every 30 k miles/50 k km. that's my sched on 2015 Santa Fe 3.3 and at 100 k miles including towing a boat all is good
This is a great video. Is the interior white? I'm looking online for one with white interior and I can't fine one. The lightest color I'm finding it beige
That crack on glass will cost you for glass + ADAS calibration to about $1500🙄🙄🙄......I did this at speedy glass for half of dealer quote...any minor fender bender will cost a fortune in modern cars.....that's how stealership make money😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
So strange that still, including this person showing this video, don't know Hyundai was not reliable before. Should revise that Hyundai today is consider one of the best reliable cars. The problem with Hyundai is that some auto parts are difficult to get. And this guy is paying to much on having the car fix. Should know better. Palisade is a great SUV. I have one, but since getting parts is so difficult after accidents, I would Not buy a Palisade or any Hyundai (or Kia) car again.
@rda9441 I had found alot of complaining over oil consumption within the first few oil changes, and Hyundai was just saying oh well nothing they can do but to replace engines under warranty if anything more serious happens during the warranty period.
We have a 2020 Palisade would buy a Palisade again if we aren't planning to keep the car long. Only thing makes me worry about buying another Hyundai is reliability.
The insurance is paying for the repairs and he is paying the 250 deductible. You would know what is deductible if you have ever claimed an insurance in your life

It’s weird how the Asian market does get the folding mirrors but the US markets does t. 😢
