The best thing I use for cleaning the mesh/gauze filters is brake/carb cleaner.
The Wallstar combi is very rare in Scotland. I have only ever seen 2!
The majority of wall mounted units I come across are Grants, Camray 5’s and the occasional Camray compacts.
