lasagna gets a bad mainstream rap because it is a very laborious dish to create with most regular restaurants failing to meet execution. in my humble opinion, elite lasagna is rivaled by no other italian dish. elite lasagna can unfortunately only be found within a nonna's house or in a michelin starred italian kitchen (which there are quite a few of scattered across New York).

Kids over here in England lost there absolute s**t over PRIME for awhile [Would sell for crazy money, still a store near my work selling it for £7] you can get it for £2 here now if you're lucky, I like the Lime best out of the ones I've tried, but they're kinda Muh [Most flavors just taste like fruit squash to me, kinda not worth the £2+ IMO]

Lasagna is good it's just a BASIC dish. What makes a good lasagna* the sauce, *the cheese blend combination, and *the way you layer each item.

As a Sicilian and Napoleon female, with a mom who makes lasagna with fresh homemade pasta and red sauce…. I 1000% agree, it’s good but I would choose almost any other pasta dish before I’d choose lasagna lol.

Granted I've never eaten even W Lasagne it's nice to hearing from a Sicilian and King who's best friend is Sicilian so I know you both know what your talking about 💯. I thought it was just me because I haven't had W Lasagne or honestly any Italian W. My Italian family members lived long distance from where I lived and never had the opportunity to eat truly amazing Italian cuisine.

I just got back from italy. The food in the usa or even where im from in canada will never compare. They use fresh ingredients with no perservatives. Homeade pasta homeade everything

I 1000 percent agree with the lasagne thing. I LOVE to cook and love to eat and a lasagne (eben if its the best lasagne) made well will never wow me like other pasta dishes . Theres so much more to offer in Italian food!

Don’t get me wrong. Lasagna is good, but there are far better Italian options. Even an elite lasagna is not S tier level.

lasagna very overrated
Meh lasagna is still good IMO, but it's hard to find elite lasagna so you gotta go into it knowing it's most likely mid. It takes forever to make as well, which is why most people prefer alfredo or spaghetti.
