Imagine someone you love died and then a different person who looks just like them showed up. You'd hate seeing them because you'd remember that dead person every time you saw them.
In the lore of Blazblue. Current timeline Jin hated Saya and attempted to kill her until Celica stopped him. Hakuman Jin loved Saya and blamed Ragna for her death because she was distant from them even though he was protecting them from invaders.
@@TheVegeta67 Might've been a biproduct of instability. Maybe he didn't really hate Saya as much as the plot wants us to think he did. Like there was a part of him that hated her, but she was still family, and he never got to resolve his feelings with her before Terumi came along, which also explains why Hakumen doesn't have that same hatred for Noel, since he would under the logic that Jin just misses Saya that much. There's clearly an element of jealousy, instability, and possibly even just sheer timeline feedback that causes this Jin to harbor that hatred towards Saya, but the love that Hakumen had for her is still in there somewhere. Of course, this is only half the reason why he hates Noel. The other half is because the Power of Order clashes with her existence as a fragment of the Origin, and perhaps moreso as the Calamity Trigger.
