I crochet full time, props to you pursuing your crochet business. Whenever i get discouraged, i think folks that have another fulltime job, do youtube and online store.... instant motivation! So thanks for the content as i market prep:) maybe someday we can work on something together:) Sending LOVE, blessing and positive vibes from AK😊

Thank you! I would love to hear more about how you crochet full-time, like how much money you make and the streams of income you have if you wouldn’t mind? You can pm me on Instagram if you prefer. Almost everyday I worry that I would never make enough money to go full time anyway😪 and I lose motivation. I’m glad to entertain you while you market prep! When is your next market? And what is your favorite type of crochet vlog to watch? Sending good vibes to you as well, thank you for the support ❤️

      How is full time calculated?

I wonder the same thing! I would assume that most people just mean they don’t work any other job, crocheting is their full time job. But I do wonder how many hours they put in to it! The standard for full time work week is 40. To run your own business I would think it is more than that!

@PEDALSnPATHS started crocheting wearables for myself and gifts. I decided to make a gift for my husband (plush pillow) and I was hooked. I never sought out to make it a business, but as grew my knowledge of the craft I watched many videos of ladies crocheting amigurumi and selling them. So I challenged myself to do it. Completed my challenge, now this year I'm focusing on my website launch, and a hard maybe a crochet business channel. God willing:) i am housewife, no young children, my husband is my investor until i was able to create revenue at markets:) first year of business(2023), I dedicated 5+ months learning the craft, different techniques (40+ hrs weekly), learning laws related to selling handmade goods, brush up on business 101. Gifted a lot of pieces to family and friends before I decided to take my pieces to market. Started doing local markets in June and it took off from there. Glory to the Most High! I booked 2 2-day markets a month from June - December. Crocheting is the easy part, it's the business aspect that's the challenging part for me at the moment. I'm learning more everyday, that's how it calculates for me as full time. No markets scheduled for January but I crochet for at least 5-6hrs everyday, business tasks 3-4hrs 5 days a week. Hope this gave you an insight of what full time looks like for me:) much love and positive vibe to all ❤️
