- This is the eighth generation of V10, one of the winningest downhill bikes of all time. What you see here is the Syndicate's first few World Cups aboard the new bike.
The Syndicate has been racing this bike in 2023 and they will continue to develop it throughout the year. This is development in plain sight.
The new V10 is available now for all riders to take to the trails or courses. - กีฬา
Amazing to see how much thought goes into the bike’s compliance. Pretty complex case as up front you can go for a flexier fork (Dorado) but given the team’s sponsorship they have to go for Fox. When building compliance into a wheel there are multiple options.. more compliant spoke type, less spokes, more compliant rims or less spoke tension. All have their unique characteristics and tradeoffs on other aspects making it quite a puzzle to be solved. DH these days seems to go back to the Sunn Chipie and later on Honda levels of tinkering which is fascinating to see. Should I ever pull the trigger on this bike I know how much thought, effort and love went into it which already makes it special to me.
Jordie + Greg = 😂😂😂😂😂 love them !
Супер)❤
Bike dos meus sonhos. Mas vai ficar no sonho eu penso.
I LOVE YOU JACKSON
They should have kept the black stripes on the top & bottom main frame tubes. Breaks up the red. Might get some black contact & make my own. Mine is Large XO1 is already ordered.👍👍👍 But why have they got the cheapest Sram Stealth brakeset on X01 version of V10. They should have the Ulimate Stealth brakeset on X01 version.
…all about the bounce…back?!
Your still running CK hubs correct?
🤯🤯🤯🤯
A Like the new history of. Santa Cruz bicycles the old a new búsqued of the new bike guys riders of FOX factory a so fast proyecs courses of they. Well Saluds of Chile 🇨🇱🤟🗣️yyaaSicke enjoy video 🍀🍀
I would be more than happy, when Santa Cruz provides Shimano versions again.
Because i‘m absolutely not a Sram guy.
Why? Only usable shimano product are cranks
can the XL be fitted with a 27.5 rear
In Mid & short setting I would say yes but probably pop the bike into the high position for the head angle so you don't go too slack
There's a sense of foreboding not seeing Jackson in 99% of this particular content...
Wait are you hinting that he may be leaving the Syndicate / Santa Cruz??!
@@InChristAloneForever I believe he was recovering from the appendix surgery (or complications) during the Lousa test camp? He's shown in the race footage. Can't imagine Syndicate wouldn't have done a 5 year deal with him? Would be insane to let him go.
@@InChristAloneForeverhighly unlikely. It would be the dumbest business move to let him go. He is their number 1 largest asset. People aren’t buying their bikes because of anyone else on that team lol.
Yeah totally agree. I read this comment above wrong and jumped to the wrong conclusion/theory. @@ScoopCooop
@@ScoopCooop except for us old farts. We buy stuff because of the Goat - though probably not wheels/Tyres after this season ;-)
4:18 so rim breaks sometimes is better? I don’t get the idea behind it.
i suppose he is saying since the front rim never breaks it means that there is still material to take out to lighten the rim, to the point where it breaks often , then they probably will put back some material
This obviously doesn’t apply to wheels that a regular consumer would be purchasing, It’s about striking a balance between lightweight and durability when every seconds counts!
@@butterfieldtech you are right , which is why i never buy anything race oriented , its not my bag.
@@butterfieldtechyou are taking out rigidity if you taking out weight. People just gonna complain about heavy weight wheels and people just gonna complain about breaking wheels so Why not build something in the Center.
That’s why he’s a mechanic and not an Engineer 👍
Santa Cruz is a fucking terribly overpriced shit however V10 IS an amazing DH. I would buy it and happily pay every penny 💪🏻🔥👌🏻
How does is compare to say a YT Tues?
@@mttec23 no idea mate. Never had YT
Thank you...I think
Not really, you’re paying for R&D and I have yet to see few manufacturers come close to what Santa Cruz have.
The frame quality, performance and geometry outweigh the price.
Yt or Commencal
Santa Cruz V10 all the way unfortunately but if you want step down I’d probably shoot for the Commencal.
I’d purchase the V10 as I want to master the true beast.
Personally, I’d like to see these guys just race blind, without any practice laps. Why not?
because it would't be the same sport then.
It would change from downhill racing to what? What would this new sport be called?
@@Eric.V.kamikaze? Try riding wc dh tracks at a competitive speed without practice laps and a track walk, you’d be lucky to make it to the bottom in one piece.
It would be equally risky for everyone. 🤷🏻♂️
it would be boring because they would have to ride really slow, or you'd see a ton of crashes and it would be dangerous.
Jesus Christ that was hard to watch.
Why did you keep watching then? Weird
@santacruzbicycles2841 20 mins of utter drivel and I'm asking myself the same thing actually. I was really looking forward to it (the new V10) because its a big deal isn't it, wanted to know more about it. Just didn't expect this sort of garbage from SC, so not weird atall I don't think.
Dont know about design, but looks ugly
Give over 😂
It’s the best looking DH bike in years
