I’m sudanese and I currently live in New Cairo and it’s soo beautiful 😍 i’ll never get bored of the streets and beautiful infrastructure. I’ve also recently learned that many parts of cairo have been refurbished and new towns/compounds are being built around Greater Cairo such as 6th of October/Sheikh zayed city in Giza as well as the new capital city being built further east of Cairo. I pray to Allah that Egypt has nothing but positive developments despite some of the difficulties they’re facing 🇸🇩❤️🇪🇬

@@rodeolo1 i’m sorry but absolutely not. Both nations have become super different from each other and are generally different culturally, ethnically, politically etc. and Sudan is an absolute mess. Egypt already has issues that are yet to be solved (inshallah they’ll be solved soon) but imagine adding Sudan into that equation 😭😭. This united nation wouldn’t last a decade

Hey thanks for your view however I totally disagree with you in terms of Sudan is in the heart of Egyptian national security especially following the construction of the Ethiopian high-dam on the Nile, Egypt needs to secure its national security by putting its hand on that dam & we need more fertile land to cultivate & feed the people. Right now, Egypt is paying heavy price by the influx of hundred thousands of Sudanese refugees, we have almost 7 millions Sudanese in Egypt plus another 10 millions refugees from different countries; both Arabic & African...how can Egypt sustain this overpopulation with limited resources?!! this is crazy. I visted old Cairo back in 2019 and never I had thought this new Cairo existed. I can see why they needed this new city. The Cairo I saw back then was really run down, old high rises with no windows and parts of the old Cairo looked like rubble from war. This new city brings a balance that Dubai doesn't have. Old Cairo has Egypt's deep history and culture and this new Cairo has showcases modern Egypt and advancement of the country.

There's actually a license for that, ppl take it from the government so they sent some engineer to imagine whether the architectural difference is gonna be suitable or not and if so, the engineer gives them the approval

I moved to New Cairo since 2019 and it's one of the BEST decisions I made in my live. Being an Egyptian who used to live in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia you can explore the luxurious side of Cairo and Modern Egypt.
You will find Malls (both indoor and outdoor), Plazas, Villas, Compounds and if you are experienced with how transportation works you can save more money because it's expensive if you rely only on Taxi, Uber or even purchase a vehicle here in Egypt.

9:40 is a gorgeous building. I just love how different and unique each building is in this city. In the west we are forced to stick to strict building codes and regulations that force us to build the same carbon copy building as the one down the block and end up being the same boring plain high rise.

Jeff, I love the layouts resorts transportation malls and Villas. America has fallen behind with our stick houses and postage stamp size Master planned communities. If you notice their predominant building materials are cinderblock and cement, metals, and glass. The Villas accommodate large families for generations. I was in Qatar in 2018 seeing the growth for World Cup, it was amazing how they build cities and transportation systems. Could you imagine this scale of construction in AZ?

there will also be a metro in new cairo, the 4th line. but the monorail will be open sooner, there is at least 5 more years for the metro to open. they are also thinking about extending the 4th line even more in new cairo to reach many neighberhoods in madinaty rather than stopping at el rehab. they are also thinking about extending the 6th line into the south of new cairo (which they will start building this year or early next year). So its not just the monorail as new cairo is very big in size

There’s no “New Cairo City” per se. There’s a bunch of settlements like Madinaty, Rehab, Shorouq and 5th Settlement which constitute New Cairo.

@@CBEACH If you want a high-end life, go to high-end places such as Al Rehab City or Madinaty City, often the prices there are affordable and you can rent as well. If you want a perfect life, go to Sheikh Zayed City, it is wonderful. Egypt is one of the cheapest countries in the world and just as the pound lost its value a month ago against the dollar so you will live a wonderful and rich life

as an egyptian i was looking for a comment like this in comment section , eventhough we are proud of the new city but the main problem is at first only rich and middle class people in egypt can afford to live here , and also the building of this place increased debt of the country and decreased the egyptian pound value to a point that the poor class in egypt literally live with 3000 egy pounds a month which is actually 60 USD for a whole family , however i believe after building this city is built by 10-15 years this problems will shrink
