John is Australia’s favorite son. There are sooo many great songs that he sings but when watching and listening to him always do it to a live performance, he is amazing live. This concert in particular was epic, and you could just react to just about every song. You’re the voice, long way to the top, playing to win, amazing grace, and many more from other concerts also.

He also does a blues duet with fellow Australian, Jimmy Barnes of Cold Chisel fame, singing When Something is Wrong With My Baby from Jimmy's Soul Deep concert.

John has done many collaborations in the past some of the greats are as follows but always look at live performances Celine Deion and John Farnham your the voice. Olivia newton john and John Farnham please don’t ask me. Tom jones and John it’s a long way to the top
Anything live from John Farnham is gold, after about 1985. From about 1966 he was a young teen idol, first hit record about 1967 / 68. He has had a No 1 hit record in every decade since and including the 1960’s, but that has now ended due to throat cancer. All his live concerts with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra ( MSO ) are highly recommended and preferred live. Also his live versions of his duet with Jimmy Barnes...... When Something is Wrong With My Baby. The live tv videos from Hey Hey It’s Saturday are the best..... the video featuring a pink, stuffed ostriche.... ( the shows co host. lol ) Also Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar...... the Australian productions are the better ones but the Broadway video is okay.
So hard to pick favourites for you to listen to as there are just so many. But do yourself a favour and try When the War is Over, Let the Banners Fall, Gethsemane (Jesus Christ Superstar), Burn for you, Touch of Paradise....so many to choose from. But ALWAYS live!
