This bike is down for an "Upgrade". New Jugs, Pistons, Titanium Valves, Bronze Guides, and some new Custom Grind Cams. I should have a new vid up for your approval by the first week of October 2010. The builder estimates another 20-25 Hp. It should scream. Be sure and check back!
Sorry. I didn't see your post till just now. I'll ask Matt on Monday. My understanding is, it's a Big Base Scout bottom end, if that helps. And it is ALL Indian. This much I am sure of.
@SAMUELDUNGAORIGINAL Yes, I own the video. I made it myself. About putting the engine in a Honda 150 frame. Sure, it possible, with enough skill patience and money. I wonder though if that frame would handle the power. Better to find a bigger frame, or better yet, buy a Harley Sportster. The engine in this particular Indian cost over 8000 dollars to source and build. Good luck!
You fell on yer head and broke it, lol. 6 years of research went into those cams by a genius cam developer. The problem with the bike in the vid is just plain break in jitters. That was the first run after all. It went on the dyno a week later for tuning and ran like a scalded dog for years afterwards. It's still running around Australia last I heard.
This is the first time I've ever heard a running Indian. It's terrific to be able to listen to this stuff, thanks to TH-cam. I loved it!
Wow, what a great bike. grrrrreat sounding too! Hard to believe it is over 70 years old!
Possibly the most desirable bike I've ever seen - just fabulous.
That thing sounds perfect!
Wow, what a great sounding and great looking bike!
wow nice sounding old bike i love it
Glad you like it. This one is a bit unusual sounding for an Indian though. The Supertrapps give it a sound all it's own.
nice hotrod, great sound too
Wow this vid just made my day! Awesome sound........nice work.!
This Indian makes me grin like a mule eating briars. Awsome moto.
Great looking and sounding bike U have there dude.. Nice work!

@tprjj49707 I was wrong. The wheels are aftermarket aluminum, with drum brakes.

@waysideleonard Funny, Doug wasn't in the shop today. LOL
I'm workin on it. LOL His helmet cam pretty much sucks at sound, gonna have to come up with a different set up.
VERY COOL
very nice
Strange this is the only Indian I have ever heard that sounds like my dads Yamaha XS650.
THAT is how a motorcycle should sound and look. Nothin better than an Indian
bike: cool helmet: complete nogo
Nice is this model the scout sport only, custom, they was not as this from factory or?
No sir. This is a full custom. The frame is 39 Scout, the engine has been highly modified, and produced nearly twice it's original output.
@@RoadHead62 do you still have it,its really nice.thanks
That is a beautiful work of automotive art but it looks tiny, are you around seven foot tall.
Sorry. I didn't see your post till just now. I'll ask Matt on Monday.

I ride a 46 Chief but it don't run like your Scout, Nice scooter!
holy fuck its awesome !
Those are SuprerTrapp Mega-phones.
Just so you know. Wouldn't want you to get the wrong pipes. I hate when that happens. LOL
I am years away from that, I am assembling 57" bottom end in '36 SS cases. Did you use indian rods? Chief wheels? which pinion?
LOL! Nah, they just built them small back then. The average height for a human male was 5'7" back in the 30's.
Matt is 6'
NICE NICE I LIKE IT
It's a Canon S-3 IS 6.0 Mega Pixel.

Except maybe 2 or 3 Indians. LOL Thanks!

I always wanted to say that. ;)
