- Upon receiving a message from the ancient lamp out of the blue, even the Great Adventurer of the Realms, Dodo-King, Defender of Old Mondstadt, Friend of Adults Who Yet Harbor Hope, Author of the Teyvat Travel Guide, Originator of the Kujirai Art - Temari Jutsu, Supplier to the Renowned Lord Sangemah Bay, Elder of the Hexenzirkel, Codename "A," Mother of the Most Adorable Klee - Alice was taken aback.
Fortunately, it was not a disastrous incident that had prompted the message. Instead, it served to bring back memories of companions whom she shared her youth with.

Well venti is not really the type who likes to fight so yeah he more of a peacemaker he only fights when he actually has to also it’s good thing he make friends with them as the witches are one of the most powerful being of teyvat excluding gods and divine beings pretty sure Alice already knows his identity as she mention that the anemo archon was entrusted for the lantern and I’m sure venti Alice are great friends as both of them have cunning personality like how during GAA also pretty sure venti knows all of them

In the current event she created a world named simulanka with the help of her's friend klee's mom and mona's master,she created this world for fictional/counterpart durin of the original(gold's) rhinedottir's durin becz she grief over that what happened to original durin in the real world who killed by anemo archon and davilin
The fact that Rhinedottr proclaimed herself as 'mother' and then remember Albedo described her as a cold woman that he respected make me.... cry...
I feel so bad for Albedo that he still genuinely believes that Rhinedottir hasnt abandoned him which is so sad considering his personal stories. But like, I get the feeling from this video that Rhinedottir really wants a son…so why abandon your only one?
@@seraphywang4638 from what i see, she already taught him everything and he was not a child anymore when she left. She also wrote him recommendation to get Alice to help him join the Knight of Favonius as a Chief Alchemist. The Hexenzirkel members treat each other as sisters so Alice took him in for that reason.
Its like when people joke that Kaeya's father left for milk but Kaeya didnt take the abandonment that way. He believed his father wanted him to escape the dark side of his bloodline and left him in Mondstadt so he could enjoy a peaceful life. We don't know why Gold left so suddenly, but given what happened to them, i think all the khaenriahns social life are very complicated. I think its a good thing that their 'children' don't have to get involved.
Another thing to note is that the lore of Genshin is built up in a way that helps the devs to constantly surprise us. They tend to lead us to believe one thing, and then later change our perspective with new information.
That's why they put all the blame on Gold at the start for what happened in khaenriah and label her as 'great sinner' and that she created Durin who almost destroyed Mondstadt so basically we view her as an overall terrible person. But now we know actually all pureblood khaenriahn are labelled as 'great sinners' anyway and the people were turned to monsters by the gods, not by Gold. Durin originally was a kind dragon, whatever that turned him to a monster I dont think was Gold's intention. When Caribert woke up in the recent archon quest, he said he felt like he was in a long dream and that was what Durin experience as well when he fought Dvalin and terrorized Mondstadt. So I think the reason why he did so was due to curse.
Another thing to note is that this is not the first time Rhine refers to her experiments as her 'children'. In Durin memories in Dragonspine spear, she also referred to them the same way, and he called her his mother. I think that used to be how it was until the cataclysm. Probably she always knows she may leave albedo and did not want him to get attached so she asked him to call her 'master' instead.
Ofc i dont think Rhine is sane in anyway, but there are certainly more to her story than just a crazy scientist.

@@mintpudding7908 i mean, i dont think she is sane ofc. And we can see she also don't count the rifthounds as her children even though she created them. There are so many of them still 'alive' but she only considered albedo as the only one left.
Another perspective though is Susbedo might actually never had a form and only once he saw albedo and realised he was similar that he copied albedo's appearance. So he might have been dead from when he was in testtubes. In Festering desire sword lore, they were referred to as "Unborn life, unfulfilled wishes" which could suggest they never came to live.
I absuloutely love albedo's lore, and her saying she's albedo's "mother" just made me want to sob.
“Even the most frightening witch was once a little girl, and growing up can be so tough - sometimes we all need to vent our troubles to wind.” I think this is one of the most resonating things I’ve ever seen in Genshin, how lovely and well written that quote from Alice is. It really makes us think about our group of friends, how we can come together to get through life’s woes and support one another. Really nice stuff.
YUP THAT QOUTE HITS HARD ALSO "VENT OUT TO THE WIND" CAN ALSO MEANS ( MY HEADCANON) WHEN THEY CHALLENGED BARBATOS AND BARBATOS NOT ONLY STOPPED THEM BUT ALSO LISTENS TO THEIR TROUBLES AND THEY'RE LIKE "OH YOU CAN BE OUR BESTIES".
Almost makes me wanna pull for Klee next time she reruns. Every time Alice shows up in events, she’s always trying to teach us and her daughter that she never has to venture the long journey alone (and for elves like them, they can live long). Even when she’s far away, she’ll still be there for her.

Never skip ANY Mondstadt big events. They always, always have huge lore bombs. Who would've thought we actually get to know another Barbatos activity in the past. Seriously, Venti is my favorite character since the very beginning. He's such an enigma ❤️

no way they just dropped so much lore, and wow so Rhine/Gold really does consider Albedo to be her son! From what we heard she acted like a teacher rather then a mother to him, so this is cool hearing her perspective!

I'm really hoping we're getting Istaroth lore in his 2nd act. This gremlin holds wayy to much connection to a primordial god for him to not say anything
After so many events where the Travele was the centre, the protagonist, the sun, we got an even where we just....help.
It's been a wonderful story, an almost soothing journey following two girls that just became friends and the end was so romantic and peaceful I just coudln't stop smiling.
we are a witness, as Zhongli stated way back... and boy if this was as tale worth witnessing.
Thank you Hoyoverse, this is truly a gem of an event.

Almost makes it sound like they’re each from a separate nation, of the witches we know:
-Mona is from Fontaine so it’s reasonable to assume ‘the old hag’ is aswell
-Gold is from Khaenri’ah
-Alice from Mondstadt
-Scarlett appears to be Snezhnayan so ‘J’ may be too
There’s 8 witches and 8 nations we know of (Khaenri’ah included), hopefully this lore is expanded on in a 2nd Venti story quest

mona's never been confirmed to be from Fontaine. her only connection to it is that she got a job writing for the steamboat newspaper that's from Fontaine. we actually know nothing about where she comes from.
Alice is also most likely not even from teyvat, she's a world traveller
"J" has to be Snezhnayan, as now we know "J" was I. Ivanovna N. and Ivanovna is a russian/slavic surname!

Watching this after the 4.8 reveal just feels so satisfying to know about these characters. Even talking about Mage Ms book.
Almost 2 and a half years into the game & I feel we have just started scratching the main lore of the game. So much new stories and characters coming out and just the glimpses of it has us asking for nore questions and theories. Can't wait when all of this comes out which will be like more than 5 years maybe xD
It was so epic to hear Mona's master go "Let me Scry", since that's Mona's signature line when she casts her EM skill, and what she says before she prophesizes. She complains about her master a lot, but I'm sure she'll be the first to defend her, since I'm sure Mona looks up to her greatly. It doesn't seem like the witches are evil in anyway, but all actually just want to live happy lives without waging war, despite being from other countries/regions.
It's really cool how all their successors convened for this tea party for the Windblume's Breath Event, it really was the perfect time to reveal the background story on the Hexenzirkel. Klee for "A" Alice, Scarlett for "J" who's the witch maybe from Snezhnaya who was also the one who got married, Mona for "B" who is Mona's master, Albedo for "R" Rhinedottir (Gold) who is Albedo's creator and "mother". "N" is for Nicole, and she only talked during the final part of Wanderer's Interlude Story Quest. "M" is the person who wrote "The Boar Princess" Book, who's likely passed away for awhile now. I still want to find out why Rhinedottir created all those Wolf enemies that we mostly see in Inazuma and Enkanomiya, there's not enough info to uncover what her true intentions were for those monsters. I also really want to meet Mona's master, and possibly the other witches as well, since all of them have really interesting stories, and I want to know how they and their true successors have been fairing. It's really awesome how Alice low key implies that the Windblume festival may have been a commemorative happy event made by Venti, in remembrance of the Witches Tea party and "J"'s marriage day. Looking forward to learning more about Teyvat's history, and the characters who played legendary parts in it's creation!
Skipping this Event Story Quest is a nightmare for Lore enjoyers, so make sure those of you interested don't leave this Event out! Happy Windblume everyone! 😆
In some dialogues with Albedo she says a lot good things about her master, so it's more like - Annoying, but Skilled master wibes here, aslo from event we know, that Old Hug may be cruel in her teaching methods.
@@Xelluse sort of like "hard masters" in kung-fu movies. They have difficult teaching methods and an almost enemy-like role with their trainees, but when the trainee earns their respect, they start showing a "kinder" side (for example, Pai Mei in "Kill Bill").
I already saw similiar theories and some people spaculate that Timeus might be a decendant of M or at least he have same kind of honesty and determination to learn and create things that will iprove the world ( M trough stories and TImeus reseach of alchemy) despite being only normal person among ones with long lifepans who wield great magical powers.
Given the descriptions on the Rift Hounds, it appears they were accidental creations.
Don't defend Gold. Everything she did is in the pursuit of the "Truth of this world". She wants to find out what is beyond the Irrminsul and is the origin of countless tragedies, all to find out "the truth of this world".
She has now disappeared, presumably left on a long journey, and left that task to Albedo instead.
The moment Gold said, "But I suppose that still makes me a mother?" I immediately cried. She sounded so sincere when she talked about her son...
Meanwhile:
Her first son:sent to mondstadt,got fucked by Dvalin and died
Her second son:fed him to the first son
Gold initially comes across as evil, but her creations--while alchemically-fueled Abyss babies--seem to have good albeit misplaced hearts. Hell, Durin just wanted to show everyone how beautiful he was!

To me she sounded like all she cared about is that experiment succeded not that she is a mom. I heard that in alchemy everything has it's price so for creating a life there have to be an exchange with death... J. who killed her husband sounds quite sus too. They are very confident and i don't trust them yet

This is another of those moments where we realize that Venti is too related to important events, important beings and people, in addition to seeming to have knowledge which he pretends not to have, it is impossible that being literally the wind incarnate, he does not know anything for his convenience. And not to mention his relationship with Astaroth

Venti is connected to so so many things, it makes sense that the children/successors (Mona, Klee, Albedo) all are in Mondstadt.
The fact that "prophecies" were eluded to in here before Fontaine is fantastic
1. I KNEW IT I KNEW THE GODDESS OF FATE WAS THE AUTHOR OF THE BOAR PRINCESS (Andersdotter according to the description)! That means that Alice is likely the Goddess of Creation and Mona's Teacher (Barberloth) is the Goddess of Prophecy!
2. the love and care that the non-mortal members of the Hexenzirkel had for their mortal friend is in every crease and fold of the current event and the imaginarium theatre. They keep her with them always.
3. I just realized that rather than simply matching the imagery of the the Ambiguously Astral Twins' Arrival, Barberloth saw it via hydromancy. Durr

We confirm lots of things in this event about Venti:
1. He's the Mages trusted friend and counselor of some sort.
2. Surprisingly him and Gold are friends. After 500 years, their interaction going to be important
3. He is confirmed to know all secret of the world. I'm not even surprise if Venti still remember Rukhadevata and Scaramouche due to his relationship with Nicole and his winds that blowing everywhere around Teyvat
Agree because there was never good enough lore with him being the primary focus. Morax and Ei have tons of lore bits and even rukkhadevata and makoto also have some. The most we know about Venti are his connections with people or places but no direct lore about him so even a peek of him makes me curious and excited.

Mondstadt events are mostly about Venti and his association with other powerful figures. Most of it's gameplay are related to parkour/casual minigames.
Liyue events are focused on Liyue's history of gods, adeptis, and humans. It's gameplay are related to time trials and puzzles.
Inazuma events are like Liyue's, it focuses on Inazuma's own lore. It's gameplay are related to coop or combat.
Idk about Sumeru, i just came back from being 1.5 years absent
Mondstad event always answered some questions but add further questions than answers.
Liyue and Inazuma events just revealed and answered the past story and rarely have any significance for future lore.
If only Mond events were about Venti😭 I mean, yeah, they are mostly about Barbatos but not Venti. It's been so long since we've last seen him ACTUALLY participating in events but not just appear for 0.003 sec and then leave

I wasn't expecting this huge lore bomb in the final hour of the event. Was a nice surprise after so much pointless theory-crafting for most of the event (was REALLY happy for Collei to make friends though!) maybe the event was symbolic of how we the fans spin our wheels trying to figure out theories for the world and lore of the game when we don't know anything at all.
Genshin's lore is always so focused on The Archons, Celestia, Fatui and the Abyss,
we often forget that parts like the Hexenzirkel and the Vishaps from Enkanomiya are still out there in the world.
Goes to show how deep Genshin's lore can go. And Kudos to that.
And 90% part of them always connected to Venti or Mondstad.
And Desert region lore.. Ay-Khaynoum..
More Alice lore, Collei interactions with characters from Monstadt, Cyno shenanigans and Timaeus getting his game on. Best event that I've ever experienced.

@@chaosomega623 As far as I am aware Venti somehow has connections to every nation. Like in Sumeru, the instrument given to us by the Aranara during the world quest is implied to originally be owned by Venti. It only strengthens those suspicions when he appeared in a web event.
Theres probably more lore from events. But I was not around for them.

Just shows how powerful and knowledgeable the mages of the Hexenzirkel are. It is possible that they know more of what is beyond Teyvat. As they are not even concerned whether there is war or not, they just want to preserve their tea time.
I think it's less of the tea time and more of trying to stay in touch with each other. Other powerful beings besides them are probably the archons and all their friends are dead so it is completely understandable
Maybe it foreshadows the whole "sky being fake" idea they keep mentioning.
I also think knowing more abt what’s outside of teyvat makes them treasure their friends within it more
One of the witches maybe the writer of the children parable books which contain hidden ancient civilization lores, a way to hide from the eyes of Irminsul tampering and Celestia.

This is my first tme participating in a Windblume Festival and I'm loving it! Albedo and Gold are both in my favourite character list so it was surprising to see more of Gold's thoughts and view of Albedo :))

genshin won't be fading out of popularity anytime soon. The player base is growing and the banner revenues are breaking records every few patches. I don't think we have anything to worry about.
Plus they have enough money to finish the game already, so i don't think we have to worry about that

The only thing that can kill genshin, is hoyo themselves.
The story of Collapse 3, which took Miha to finish in 6 years, will also give an ending to the original God, and the same next story will still be in Miha's world, because all the stories are in one universe.
There are so many Easter eggs in this. I’m quite curious to see what importance this will have in the future. And especially since Alice and Venti are involved, you know it’s going to be important. (I forgot to also mention Nicole, who was the one who spoke to us after the Scara interlude quest, Im still curious about what happened there.)

This was so interesting! This event is one of the best for me. Collei and Sucrose's friendship is so beautiful, I hope to see more of them in the future. And we finally got more lore about the Hexenzirkel, I'm especially excited for Gold.
well for this year even though archon meeat-up was great in liyue fest last month but this windblume event more good IMO. you got two character development collei and sucrose also collei got new friend besides of amber. sucrose despite being introvert she was actually profesional as held the fest. and love the lore bomb at the end of quest

We don't really know for sure what happened during the cataclysm. All we know for sure is that 6 out of the 7 were there in Khanreah. Makoto was killed as seen in Ei's cutscene. Were they there out of their own volition? We don't know. They did commit war crimes? Probably, as stated by Dain. But does that stop the archons from loving the humans that reside in their respective nations? No. Is Venti bad? He is morally grey as most characters do. One thing for sure tho, he'll do anything for Mondstadt and his children and that's how he will be remembered by his people.
