Alice and Rhinedottir are already part of the story. Alice works in the background, meeting with playable characters like Dori. and ofc, we know Rhinedottir is very much connected to the Abyss mobs like Wolflord and Durin, though i believe she didn't make them to be bad. they probably got corrupted due to whatever the hell is Khaenri'ah doing. then Nicole couldn't help herself and talked to us when Balladeer tried to RKDVT himself. and Barbeloth is already connected thru Mona
Hexenzirkel membership seems more about intelligence then power. Lisa was invited because Alice and the others thought that her values and outlook would match, but Lisa was not interested in diving to deep into the secrets of the world tree so she declined. M was a normal being with a normal life span, but she most likely In my opinion was encoding lost history that that world tree had erased into her stories.
YOOOO, would love to see a side quest, or an archon quest relating to us, the traveller, uncovering the secret coded messages of hers, if that is true.
@@alessioskomneos655 A lot of scholars got their vision in a similar way like Cyno, Thignari or Alhaitham. And visions are not granted based on one's power so that means nothing
The boar princess..hmmm erased.....hmm....we did find a mysteriously frozen boar b4 we even went to dragonspine... And a 400 year old cryogenically frozen human... Too bad he has been relegated to minor character role. This is why I dislike traveller as MC. Might as well be a silent protagonist with how forgetful he can be. There is literally a defrozen human living in springvale but never has been brought into conversation again
I like that after Barbatos instructed them, they started to gather only where the wind blows. This, for me at least, implies they want him to know whatever they may be talking about in their gatherings.
Ngl for powerful witches, either they respect venti deeply or he is THAT powerful to the point of accepting his suggestion democratically. I mean its 8 unhinged witches vs 1 archon, they lowkey have the upper hand 😂
Yeah I always thought very suspicious that signora was able to defeat him that easily considering he is a God and an Archon. This heavily suggests that Venti is far more powerful than what we acknowledge.
@@jonyjonas Oh he gaslighted us since day one my friend. He said that he is the weakest archon but remember that Nahida said “ an archon power relies heavily upon the number of their believers ” Besides he has A freaking Church and a cult group who’s not from mondst that worshiped Barbatos, we also learned that: “To use the wind glider, one needs to sing praises / pray to the anemo archon to get his blessings. Meaning if he does not bless that person, they cannot fly ( taken from a sumeru researcher who tried to create an artificial glider to mock the anemo archon; spoiler alert she failed miserably everytime )” The fact that there are millions of people who glides in the world of teyvat across whole different nations, to say he is the weakest is just absurd 😀🤌🏻 Also in his voice line he said he DOESNT KNOW CELESTIAL and know NOTHING about that place but then proceeds saying the apple THERE tasted BLAND and unsavoury. Like dude why are u being so contradictory 😭🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 Okay tq for coming to my ted talk. Idk if u notice it or not but i like venti a lot 🥴
@@fiqasha7554 oh I love him too, and I love his lore. I wish his CC abilities applied in a different way to big targets, at least to pull them like Kazuha. Anyways, he's cool and look forward to seeing more of him soon.
No wonder Venti didnt want the smoke when they challenged him. Teyvat got screwed over by one member just doing experiments( Rhinedottir). Imagine if they banded together against the Archons. Cataclysm 2.0.
Gold is just an Alchemist but a top one. It's not that her creations were the problem, it was the abyss. When Durin dies, in his flashback it is mentioned he just wanted to be friends with Dvalin and Venti. During the whole fight he wasn't even conscious of what he was doing. Basically, the abyss used Gold. And gold needed their power to bring all these creatures to reality.
Considering how strong the other members are, them trying to recruite Lisa without being a successor must mean that her strength is as strong as most people implied her to be Even in gameplay, she's one of the few that can change the actual sky when using her skill
I mean lore wise the Archons we have in our party are actually holding back their true power to take on mortal forms. I think Raiden could actually use more power by Ei put a limiter on her so she could travel the world in the body without causing to much havoc. Lisa likely is not at her full power because of her lackadaisical outlook on life.
Im honestly so happy about this. The other nations have some sort of magical group in them like yokais and adeptis. I was thinking have hyv forgotten about monstadt? But then the hexenzirkel showed up with such fascinating lore
It'll become harder and harder to balance each nation's exposure as more regions got released. I think I'm gonna be a bit heartbroken yet wouldn't be surprised if no events nor new characters appear at Mondstadt anymore (Liyue will always has Lantern Rite) by the time we got into Snezhnaya.
mondstadt is literally genshin's checkov gun. Varka? Their History? Khaerinah? The Tree of Ascension? God of Time? Our travel companion origins? The defiled statue? Direct connection to the abyss on Cape Oath? and now the Hexensirkel (which might not originate from mondstadt originally-- but venti took care of them like its nothing). Dude we're literally only opened page 1 of 3000
@@lazyremnant380 2 new Mondstadt characters already had their designs leaked, Varka also seems more and more close with Mika's mentions, we're still overdue for Venti's second story quest which should introduce a new boss, we're gonna get the Dornman Port, Dandelion Sea, and something about the underground of Mondstadt (where the dark areas are on the water - Fontaine is gonna introduce underwater exploration so it might be connected to that) has also been leaked/speculated. We're busy exploring the south of the map rn, but with Fontaine we'll be moving back north, so no need to worry.
8 mages, but there are only 7 chairs... Those chairs gave me a thought, that each member represents one country. Maybe, Alice is the 8-th member above them all, the head of Hexenzercle?
@@JD-ml4io Oh, right... Than, 8 witches for 8 nations is very suitable theory. The absence of the 8-th chair can be explained by any way, it's not so important for now, afaik.
Nah..... Very unlikely. These witches supposed to be a third powerful faction that doesn't side with anything. They may come from any nation but their interest aren't same with their archon.
@@JD-ml4io But Gold could still be alive due to the Curse of Immortality cast on all fallen Khanraei'an citizens. Most of them are hilichurls, samachulrs, and mitachurls but some seemed to have stayed intact. After Gold, there's also Pierro AKA The Jester, the leader and founder of the Fatui, Dainslef, whom we all already know of, and The Alberich family who somehow managed to plant Kaeya Alberich in Mondstadt (Or at least Kaeya's biological father). Most likely that lost chair is J's because she's probably dead as she was human and she already has many successors like Scarlett in the quest.
Hexenzirkel I kind of wonder what events brought it so that the group as a whole planned to confront Barbatos in battle. Only for him to get peace instead. What were they after those many centuries ago that they thought they would get from defeating him. This is a group that was confident enough to fight an Archon when he was likely at the peak of his power.
And the Hexenzirkel as a group are prob left alone cause they dont want to battle celestia, they more seem to ride the edges of what is allowed by them and are seeking out truth of the world without drawing to much attention to themselves.
The Hexenzirkel seem to be a group of mages who want to uncover all truth of the world. For them to confront only Barbatos and not the other 6 Archon might be because Barbatos the only one who can answer all the questions they want. Also I find it hard to believe that with just one sentences, the mages stop bothering him. It either Venti is super scary, he is persuasive, they all bunch of weirdo or they exchange something
The book that Andersdotter wrote references the fact that Makoto brought Ei back from the dead after the archon war; On Makoto’s wiki, it says “After prevailing and slaying all their rivals, Ei willingly sacrificed her body so Makoto could ascend to Celestia and become one of The Seven. After becoming the first Electro Archon, Makoto recreated Ei's body and made Ei her kagemusha” It’s referred to as “forbidden magic” so part of me believes it’s Khaenri’an technology/alchemy, possibly similar methods that Ei used to create the Shogun/Scaramouche
@@wilhammartins9898"Treasured Tales of the Chouken Shinkageuchi". You can buy on Yae publishing house (The book with electro symbol) The other one is "Hex & Hound"
It kind of scares me how huge Genshin's lore seems to be vs. how slowly they're implementing it, though they finally picked up the pace with Sumeru. I definitely think there are going to be extra nations/elements after the Seven, but I worry most players aren't going to last that long if nothing changes about the gameplay, and they already said they don't want to make combat postgame for now.
I think most of the turn-off for some people is the extra lore hidden everywhere in artifacts, weapons etc. Sometimes it makes you question things and theories on your own, and sometimes you hope/wonder if the game will implement it into the story or keep it hidden and unexplored. For example, the Thundering Fury artifact got its story a year later with Seirai island. Now, I wonder if we will get some cutscene with the Crimson Witch or something more to her backstory. I don't believe Mihoyo would cut her off without any cutscene.
Wait a second! I just realised that the Boar Princess storyline is starting to sound like the story of the abyss sibling. There is some differences but the core is similar... the betrayal of the Traveler/Dain to save the cursed wolf/Khaenriah.
@@samarthgautam Well the books doesnt protect Teyvats history from changing. But yes, they could serve as records for history. However question is...Exactly when were they written? Did she know of the Abyss sibling? Why preserve that betrayal?
@@Sakuyamon base on the fact that our sibling "appeared out of nowhere in khaenri ah", maybe the situation was just like wanderer, the record in the tree about the catalysm was changed?
@@mintaroum.9096 well some stuff did change... like the the sibling suddenly being considered as part of teyvat. But so far there isnt much else relevant i can see that we can pull anything from...
Mondstadt has the witches lores, Liyue has adepti lores, Inazuma has youkai lores, and Sumeru with king and genie. So many lores 😍 to hear and read! All four nations have lores with the reference of irl countries. Wonder what will be with the other three nations.
Ok, something I wish to add about Alice. This information comes from the Wings of Starlit Feast Story, this Story was something I could only find in Chinese, so yes, a translation error could be the situation here. I don’t know if this is considered a spoiler or what, but I also cannot for the life of me find that website that offered the story. If this is something that is ok to talk about, then yay. In the (translated) story, it is a conversation between Alice and Dori, apparently Alice designed a new Glider after traveling to another world, she found inspiration there or something. In that world she was talking to a man who was saying something something about wishes (sorry, I found this story around 3 days ago, this is the best I could remember, plus, translation error might of been added) but he also says this one rather odd thing that immediately catches my attention. He says “Miss is originally a Light with no form, only with memories can you have a unique shape.” (I might also be misremembering this line a tiny bit, but this is quite legitimately what was said, and I double checked this line with all the characters I could, and he does indeed say Light.) If this Line is correct with no translation error. Then Alice is really something unique.
I don't think J was the one who killed her husband, because she left the hexenzercle before her marriage, and the stories Alice describes in this cutscene were gossips done in their meeting and J never turned up even the day before her marriage and hence we got that invitation. Also J was a mortal so it makes little sense for her to kill her husband Edit: ok I got to know that it's confirmed by both hoyo and J's EN VA that it was indeed J. Well after reading the replies I guess J was previously married and killed her husband when he got old, and she left the hexenzercle when she was remarrying, and then she spent the rest of her life as a normal human.
I thought the same but then I saw the description where it mentions J's VA. So that kinda confirms it's her. Now this means she either did kill her husband when he was sick n died after or she was remarried and killed her 1st husband
Nah, J's EN VA confirmed that J was the one who killed her husband over at Twitter Also you can be mortal but still have a long life. The yokai for example, but they can still be killed. Her husband was probably a normal human, and he was dying earlier than her. OR maybe he had an illness that was killing him faster than her, and she ended his life to relieve him of his pain, before she too followed him years later by old age.
So just to list down several groups, both notable and not as notable, within the nations so far: Mondstadt: -The Knight of Favonius -The Church of Favonius -The Four Winds -The Four Founding Noble Clans (Ragnvindr, Gunnhildr, Imunlaukr, and Lawrence) Liyue: -The Liyue Qixing -The Crux Fleet -The Ministry of Civil Affairs -The Millelith -The Eight Trades -The Adepti -The Yaksha (a distinguished and sub-category of Adepti) Inazuma: -The Inazuma Shogunate/Bakufu -The Tri-Commission and their respective head families (Kujou for Tenryou, Hiiragi for Kanjou, and Kamisato for Yashiro) -The International Trade Association -The Sangonomiya Clan and the Watatstumi Army -The Grand Narukami Shrine -The Arataki Gang Sumeru: -The Sumeru Akademiya (composed of the Six Darshans along with their corresponding Sages) -The Eremites (Corps of Thirty and the Tanit tribe) -The Forest Rangers -The Aranara Snezhnaya: -The Eleven Fatui Harbingers International Groups: -The Seven Archons -The Hexenzirkel / The Eight Witches
Not sure if the Arataki Gang is worth listing, its just a friends group composed of average dudes, while the other groups play a significant part in shaping their nation and/or the rest of the world
@@Ayzev Yeah I know 😅😅😅 I was debating to list it down or not, but the Wiki does count it as an organization within Inazuma. Although, while they are composed of averae dudes as you describe them, Kuki Shinobu's presence does make them a functional group within Inazuma's society as a group of Odd Job workers
@@mariapazgonzalezlesme You're right! I guess they do count. I'm not sure, however, if they would go under International Groups (cuz every Region has them) or Snezhnaya (the Main HQ of the Guild is in Snezhnaya)
Yet another very cool and mysterious organization in Genshin. This, the Seven, the Knights of Favonius, the Qixing, the Akademiya, the Fatui, even that secret underground organization that Diluc is a part of provide us with little snippets of lore and much to look forward to discovering in the future. I love this. Does everyone know that the Liyue Qixing is supposed to be composed of 7 people (Qixing literally translates to 7 stars, but figuratively means the Big Dipper), but we currently only know of 3 members? Who are they? Where were they when Liyue was in great peril TWICE? Leaving all the work to Ningguang and Keqing. Come on. Anyway, this leads me to believe that we still have a roster of characters we have yet to meet from nations we're familiar with. The full hierarchy of the Knights of Favonius have also still yet to be revealed. There's so much to look forward to and secrets to uncover from this game.
Considering most of the world is visionless, I doubt most Qixing are Vision holders (I don't doubt we might have more members though). The Tri-Comission is also a government body and out of 3 Comissioners, only one has a Vision. It's the same thing with the Akademiya probably. As for the Knights of Favonius, since it's both a government organization AND a military organization, I think we still have a lot of Vision holders. We know of Kaeya, Eula, Albedo and Hertha of the captains, Jean, the acting grand master, and Varka, the actual one. So 5 out of 6 important members that we know of and 5/12 total. I'm very excited for the next captains,
@@axelvinicius3365 I know I'm being VERY hopeful for the rest of the Qixing or at least a couple more members of the Qixing to be playable 🤣 but if they're just gonna be NPCs, then why haven't met them yet? They've got to be really easy to create and give voices to, why haven't we met them? Because Mihoyo is still designing them. So they've got to be playable at some point. (Hopium) About Inazuma, its government system is pretty much already completely exposed. We know the Tri-Commission, we know exactly who the leaders are, we can even see them in-game as Chisato and Kamaji, and Ayato is a given. It feels like there's just no more major secrets that Inazuma is hiding anymore. All islands are released, the main governmental characters are revealed. Meanwhile Mondstadt is still hiding a great many, with the KoF still mostly missing with Varka, Dornman Port is still a myth, as well as the Dandelion Sea... Liyue still has Chenyu Vale/Qiaoying Village (which I'm pretty sure it's coming in 3.6), and some place called Yilong Port... Much to look forward to
Ningguang, Ganyu, Keqing, Yelan, and 3 other may I forgot. There is no secret behind the formation of Qixing. Also Knight Favonius, they appeared after the resistance against the vile clan that lead Mondstadt. They are both Archon representatives to lead their nation. In contrast now, Qixing had completely ruled Liyue after Zongli had pretended to be dead. You said where was Qixing when there were 2 attacks of the ancient gods? Who do you think Ningguang and Millelith are?
I think Lisa is what she is now (your resident ‘lazy’ librarian) because she actually chose to guard Mondstadt’s library’s restricted section. Hopefully more on that will be introduced when the region eventually gets its expansion. After learning that histories and memories in Teyvat can be saved as tales in books, I wouldn’t be surprised if there are a few others who can do that and have been actively doing it. Maybe for preservation. Even Zhongli seems to be aware that although history can be altered, memories can also be stored in such a way, hence why he asked the traveller to witness everything and be the ‘storage’. And for people who work very closely with books, scripts, documenting and the likes, I feel like both Lisa and Alhaitham got their hands on one too many and know too much as a result. Maybe Lisa chose to deal with it more passively compared to Alhaitham where he actually goes on field to investigate stuff himself. I suppose it’s easier to imagine Teyvat as a whole computer system, and the traveller/other descenders are like external memory drives or cloud storages.
I agree about she guarding the forbidden section too. For all we know, everyone questiom about "why she just want to be a librarian", but she stand on the "librarian is an important job" so much it making me feels like something kinda sus here. What we know about her is just "she is strong" we don't know how exactly, but some character kinda hinted that(namely Diluc and Varka). Not to mentioned when Dvalin went berzerk, she just say "jean just chill out" as if it's not a big deal.
I believe that the Hexenzirkel are somehow connected to the intertwined fate. if you watch the cutscene between 0:03 to 0:10 the color scheme and the whole composition looks like the intertwined fate or the Acquaint Fate and the star in the middle is an Octagonal star. also on 0:22 you can see purple stars and golden stars in the skies.
I think the members of hexenzirkel may have some connections with dendro archon nahida, since her conscious is directly connected to irminsul,so it is possible that maybe they know each other behind the scenes, and after nahida is freed,it is possible we get collaboration quest between these two, since hexenzirkel also studies about irminsul
That's the strange part. Hexenzirkel want world knowledge so why would they challenge Barbatos and not Rukhadevata in the past? It's look like Hexenzirkel have their own method to study the world too. So far the group only associate with Mondstadt and closer with Venti in personal level. It depend on which nation they are I think? So far only Alice seem to travel but her home is in Mondstadt. Based on the mage name none of them hailed from Sumeru. The voice (Nicole) obviously not Sumerian name. She might be living in Fountaine or unreleased Mondstadt map.
@@mintpudding7908 yeah,i think the witch named Nicole is probably third descender, cuz she knew everything when scaramouche erased his existence from irminsul, also she guided traveller explaining about fate, and to believe in what is in front of himself, not illusions,i dont know about Alice,if she is descendent or not,but there are many hints given by hoyoverse, first of all every characters collected miscellany was voiced by dansleif, among these aloy being exception, since she is not from world of tevyat,so the same person who wasn't from the tevyat was given as narrator to introduce aloy, first of all a descender is a person who doesn't belong from tevyat,so i think you can say that 90% Alice is also a descender, but i doubt, overall out of 4 descenders, hoyo won't make 2 descenders from same organization,so i give a point to Nicole, since her actions are proof, unlike Alice, there is also chance that Alice species are elf so lifespan maybe more than 1000+ years
@@mintpudding7908 made me think of some theories i read, i dont think its the reason but its interesting to me. Ive read somewhere that the Gate to Celestia is in Monstadt, its interesting to think that they challenged Barbatos to have access to the Gate.
@@mintpudding7908 I think this is before the circle are properly established, because after they decide to have a tea party near mondstadt they finally have a rule not to hurt each others, before that they might've more chaos even toward each other so challenging one of the god probably not that rare for them.....
I don't fully believe that Gold is actually that bad since most stories villains often have a backstory, plus Nicole's advice to us to never believe what is unseen but to believe in what we see in the present. In essence Gold might have made an error in her experiments but she might have never intended it or wanted to destroy Teyvat.
Gold isn't fully bad, it's just her actions & curiousity that resulted in mistakes I'm pretty sure, in order to make her creations/experiments come to life she used the power of the abyss?? Which is why they became destructive Durin was corrupted by the abyss power and attacked mondstadt but deep down he just wanted to befriend Venti & Dvalin -- it was only until he died he was freed from the corruption (becuz it was the thing keeping him alive) -- We've seen Venti know corruption and how to heal it; it's possible he knew there was no saving Durin which is why he decided to fight instead of talk She probably didn't know it'd corrupt her creations becuz it's implied that these group of witches --after challenging venti-- became friends with him. Even leaving her only Son (who you can tell she has some kind of affection for) in mondstadt. Albedo most likely misunderstands her too becuz of her actions -- referring to her as master instead of mother & thinking since the other creations attacked, he's supposed to attack mondstadt
Not everyone in the group is all powerful.. say there's only a few of them that are actually strong af. the group is created for knowledge and when a situation arise where one of them goes rogue they have to stop the fight. Cuz the Author is literally just a human that wrote books, One is an alechemist but that doesn't make her by herself strong but her creation definitely are.
When you haven't finished the Inversion of Genesis quest before doing the event, the Traveler won't piece together in their mind that Nicole was the one who spoke to them (because the Interlude quest hasn't been done yet). That "Could she be the one who spoke to me..." dialogue didn't appear in my playthrough when I was reading their conversation, so I pretty much noticed it here in the video.
imagine they want to challange anemo archons for shits n giggles because alice described herself(if i'm not wrong) as defender of old mondstadt, that woman must've know venti way back to have that level of audacity lol, like thats why she is very casual about it, she want to have a night out with her pals by committing war crime but venti went "girl, i am not a fighter, i dont wanna fight, here, a floating island, nice seats & treats, be gay & spill some tea" basically they started a podcast, sponsored by venti
About Alice, I feel like there's still possible that she's not one of the descender. In Wanderer's collected miscellany, she said that she been tasked with a job that gives her special privileges, and that allow her to see Teyvat in a lot of perspectives. Maybe she's from Teyvat, but she's OP just because she got her "special privileges", not because of she's one of the descender?
2 things: 1. In the Kfc glider description its mentioned that Alice can see other worlds so the Alice descendant theory can be true. 2. In the Alley Hunter description we know of a Witch with blue eyes lived 1000years ago, so the Hexenzirkel can be founded before Alice itself and then Alice took the role
I sat up immediately when you noted ''hex and hound'' as well as the ''pale princess'' are also books with roses on their cover, potentially written by M. Considering how those two, as well as the boar princess, seem to be some of the heaviest in allegory and potentially hiding some really important events in the lore the same way the Wanderer's interlude points out, of course it makes sense they were written by a Hexenzirkel member.
I love more of the classic wizards and witches, I mean don't get me wrong Fountaine is almost coming in the future with that theme but it's very suprising for knowing that there is a mysterious magical group of mages troupe in Genshin.
Rhinedottirs name suggests she's unwillingtly seen as enemy aka her work was misused by Kaenriah's elite . Her name is a mix of languages and translates to "Rheintöchter" (Rhinemaidens), while "Gold" supports that to the Nibellungen story and the treasure which the Rhinemaidens had. Alberich is the name of the dwarf there who stole the gold from them. So it doesn't need to be that she's an evil person.
Probably not actively evil or anything but she is likely rather irresponsible with her creations as was mirrored in Albedo's character teaser. Also, most villains tend to have 'good intentions' or believe what they are doing is right. Regardless I don't expect we will get the full story on her for years.
the end where you compared the hezenzikel woman being replaced like the archons made me think of a "theory" I had in the past about the geo archon; since morax's "passing", we have yet to see another geo archon take his place, maybe because the adepti have intrusted liyue's safety to the humans, but given celestia's past relations to a land cared for and raised by humans, I doubt that they would want to leave it that way lol. we don't know how long it takes for an archon to be replaced, but it would be cool to see a new archon emerge and how the people from it's land would react to it.
ok so i have a theory. Alice is skilled in different field (alchemist, engineering, medicine etcetc) She managed to perfectly copy the other members voices. there were only 7 chairs but the entire group was of 8. we know that some Genshin characters are inspired by a Honkai counterpart (Raiden Ei-Raiden Mei, Venti-Wendy etcetc) now there is a character in Honkai where her peculiarity was the ability to create another personality in her head...and there were 7 total. i know its probably wrong.....BUT....i cant unsee it now
Makes you wonder why the just targeted Venti. If it was power they were seeking, they could have gone after the strongest... still likely Zhongli. And if it was for knowledge... just how many secrets does Venti have? We've already seen connections...
It's weird how the last sentence "Five of seven original archons are not anymore" sounds. Because even tho ei was not the archon she was still with makoto and nahida is just like a reincarnation of rukhadevata. That makes me wonder do the other archons also have connections with previous one.
We know the cryo archon died 500 years ago, and his lover took the mantle as Tsaritsa. My theory is that the Tsaritsa is based on Queen Victoria and Empress Catherine II. If we reconstruct the lore from Andersdotter( the pale princess and 6 pygmies), perhaps the Tsaritsa has connection with khaenri'ah before the destruction and she witnessed the catalysm. Murata defeated the pyro archon in a battle. Hydro archon is replaced based from Lochfolk.
"5 of the 7 archons have been replaced" Made me think, what is gonna happen to Liyue/The Geo archon? Since Morax is technically "dead", a new Geo Archon would be selected sometime in the story and we're already past Sumeru. Unless Celestia knows about Zhongli faking his death and still acknowledges him being the Geo Archon.
I doubt Celestia DOESN'T know. The rite of decension was more or less a show for the people of Liyue in order for them to start relying on themselves. I have a feeling Celestia is more concerned about why the gnosi are being taken from their respective country if anything. edit: also theres the added voiceline of Nahida pointing out that the heavenly principles may even be absent
With her comment about learning from humanity, and the fact that her fingers are segmented in the cutscene when she put her hands under Albedo (just like Scaramouche and the Shogun puppet's body), makes me think that she might not be human We do know that the technique used to create these is of Kaenri'ahn origin, so she could be a puppet as well Kinda funny how she is a non-human that looks clearly different from a real one, so she dedicated her life to creating one that would be indistinguishable. Especially when you consider that she is really against immitating humanity
Kinda a crazy theory but something that came to mind during the Ivanova clip. She could end up being the Tsaritsa. Hear me out, she left the group to be married, but ended up killing her husband, saying that he loved her dearly so she ended his pain. The Tsaritsa is the archon of love so that could be a connection. Nothing actually says J died, just that she left successors. Unless her saying she killed her beloved is about some one before she left the group to get married, it certainly seems like she could be the Tsaritsa
I am calling it now! One of the Archons could be a member of the Hexenzirkel. Perhaps this is a tie in to Fontaine and the Hydro Archon. I'm excited let's goooooo!
the weirdest thing about this quest was Klee saying that her mom has a friend who writes fairy tales and from sumeru we know how fairy tales can keep knowledge that could be erased in irminsul. we also know how Lisa went and beat up a mage for guess what, a fairy tale, in her very first quest. I bet these witches have some inkling to the truth of this world
It might be a concidence BUT aren't the hexenzirkel just 9 females or 6 idrk of honkai impact 3rd's 13th flamechasers? if u minus the 4 males from the females you get like 9 left, if you minus griseo too it becomes 8, if you minus Fuhua, and Pardofelis you get 6. Rhinedottir has the code name "Gold" so does Eden. Nicole can use pshyic (entering peoples minds) just like Aponia. Alice has a personality like Elysia, I can't really connect the others but I have seen a post about the Hexenzirkel's symbol around one of the honkai impact places or so. This is just a speculation!! Oh and an uncanny reference to Alice being like Elysia, In one of the parts of the story of hi3 Elysia was our Tour guide in the ER amusement park w Alice writing the teyvat volume tour guide.
Funny I just came back here after seeing the Fontaine trailer. In the teaser, the twin artists say that what they see is just an illusion... Genshin lore is just an another level
I wonder if the books left by the writer mage from the Hexenzirkel is coded stories from irminsul Because Lisa said in her Voiceline on Mona the Hexenzirkel does Irminsul exploration and Tea Parties. Maybe the reason why there's only 7 seats in the table is because Rhukkadevata was once part of the Hexenzirkel and when she was erased the 1 seat was left vacant. The Voice of Nahida we heard in the Golden Apple Archipelago and the Sumeru Trailer was probably not "Nahida" but Rhukkadevata who through the help of Alice was able to communicate with us.
It was also no coincidence that the last story chapter for windblume came out on womens day under the womens month. On celebration for all the witches of the world!
I don't think the number of circles at the start of the cutscene should be used as the count for members but rather the number of chairs and teacups being 7 should be used indicating only 1 witch is unknown of the original members.
Wait, are you saying that Yae might have learned her power of sass because of her "traumatic" experience from Alice? That means Alice is the Superior Sass Pioneer! The more I get to learn about the Great Adventurer of the Realms, Dodo-King, Defender of Old Mondstadt, Friend of Adults Who Yet Harbor Hope, Author of the Teyvat Travel Guide, Originator of the Kujirai Art - Temari Jutsu, Supplier to the Renowned Lord Sangemah Bay, Elder of the Hexenzirkel, Codename "A," Mother of the Most Adorable Klee - Alice, The more I'm eager to wait and pull for her :D
my theory might sound cringe or what but what if Lisa did not want to join the hexenzirkel because she knows that the gods have their eyes on her if you know what i mean. she's scared to put then in danger when the time comes just as how she didnt want to join the sumeru academia because her research will just result to calamity if she once again reveals another forbidden knowledge that results to her life being cut short. OR she's just lazy as f and wants to spend her remaining time by chilling and stuff. although she is a wel candidate for the coven just like Rosalyne. she's powerful, has sorts of knowledge in magic, she is smart as hell and well, she is the witch of purple rose :>
Lisa has a line about the visions, she clearly knows more about something that people around teyvat dont, and she wants the traveller to discover more about it
What are you saying, I know you are theorizing but why do that with facts we already know for sure??? Lisa doesn't have her life cut in half, Lisa left the Akademiya becuase she didn't want to take part in the crazyness that the Akademiya was doing in their pursuit for knowledge, she saw she had to sacrifice a lot of her life, like Hosseini who is not even 30 years old and he looks like a 60 years old man, and he says that THIS is the price for pursuing knowledge, That's why Mona says that Lisa's constelation is the exchange of time and life for knowledge. One must sacrifice their life and Lisa didn't want to do that, so she """turned the hourglass flat and stoped the flow of sand""" by choosing a life that fits her better since she is lazy, a relaxed life that she actually likes working after 10 am having her afternoon tea everyday, instead of working very hard and doing experiments day and night. - Source: Lisa's dialogue in her event with Gaffoor, the Traveler. Lisa's story 4 and 5. Hosseini Dialogue during the 1.5 event. People should stop with this BS that Lisa has her life cut in half, they don't pay attention to the plot. The content of that interview was 8 months before the release of the game and it was scrapped. There's nothing about gods having their eyes on her, the only mystery surrounding Lisa is the thing that she sensed when she was lerning magic, due to this she fears the truth behind vision but Lisa does NOT know anything, that's why she some times passes her knowledge to people she finds interesting hoping that one day someone will be able to find the truth behind visions. Lisa is also not the only one fearing this, KAZUHA is also fearing the truth behind visions as he says in his quest during 1.6, he wants to find the truth behind the visions.

@@cokeislyf5753 idk why the previous commenter is assuming that an official press release from hoyo is false without confirmation but I like your theory ^^ Lisa clearly knows more than she is letting on, just like Kaeya, so I wouldn't be surprised if she turned down the hexenzirkel for her own self preservation as she is a mortal and (theoretically) the circle is largely composed of non-mortals right now since all the mortal ones... yknow died. I think her being "lazy" could be because she realized after graduating that the pursuit of dangerous or forbidden knowledge will only hurt her.
Hexenzirkel order was founded for particular purposes. The first is to study and explore spiral abyss. The second objective is to study irminsul tree of life and the lost civilizations, inside domains where we can offer sacrifices and receives artifacts from irminsul tree. Artifacts Lore is always reliable because it derives directly from irminsul. The books on teyvat surface are censored, with the exception of enkanomiya books. The witches main task is to uncover and to keep safe the truth of teyvat and Celestia history. You can see the witches as the researchers theory crafters of teyvat lore. Of course they used their powers to influence teyvat destiny. It is a brotherhood of witches, like hermetic golden dawn and Wiccan orders. Just like abyss order, they can read and use leylines power, even without visions. The elemental power is stored in leylines and irminsul branches (abyss images use them to control elements), so you can use the khemia art even without delusions or visions. The witches know the truth about phanes and Celestia truth, they know that the archons and demiurge asmodeus are enemies of human race, that was born from phanes. They love to explore the abyss and search lost books. Hexenzirkel are not Saints but you can see them as an occult force that influence teyvat destiny and nations. Good work, enjoy windblume festival 👍
Celestia not was born from phanes but from the second one who came meanwhile the archon are not directly enemies of human races its not their fault the thing that celestia had done and the older ones hate profoundly the heavenly principles
I always thought that the voice who spoke to the traveler was Istaroth, seeing as she knows the importance of your memories. (and how that is fated to impact the traveler in the following Dein quest) Perhaps N is just another Istaroth disguise? She's done similar things in Sumeru with the GoF scandal.
I’m calling it, M’s books are secret code for things changed in irminsul. Like how nahida changed scara’s story to a cat. Why would a group of incredibly powerful and smart witches let a simple writer join the circle
The 8th witch was most likely Signora 1. She hates being called a "witch". in her fight she says "Who dares call me a witch!". 2. In the tea party teaser there are only 7 chairs out of 8 witches. Signora (or whoever is the 8th witch) was probably forcibly removed or left on her own and denounced the title of witch. Which helps line up with point #1. 3. Her lover died fighting monsters of the abyss and became liquid fire to kill them all. The war also involved the dragon that Rhinedottir created (a fellow witch). she most likely left at this time and started hating the witches 4. The Balladeer called her "witch" during his quest in becoming the wanderer. And I don't think he meant it as a twisted person. More so that he knows she doesn't like to be called that for some specific reason and wanted to annoy her.
M probably wrote those books to record teyvat everytime irminsul changed (like what nahida did when wanderer erased himself from irminsul). And it makes sense if it's N who speak in our mind after that because hexenzirkel mages are all interested in irminsul, she must be noticed another changed happen. I think rhinedottir use irminsul branch to create albedo. Alice&klee (or their ancestor) probably somewhat kind of irminsul avatar too, but from another world. Barbeloth is the most interesting to me, i think jp ver give her short/nickname as baba, which remind me of yubaba, powerful witch from spirited away.
Barbatos was never a front liner. He lends assistance to Vanessa and has her fight the dragon and the oppressors... He lends assistance to dvalin to face the giant dragon in the snow mountain... He assists his friend to make the rebellion and after he dies takes his for... He always has someone else in the front lines... the one and only time that we have HEARD about his great power was when the squirrel mentioned him casually cutting down mountains to make the area more breezy and tossing them in the sea, making the archipelago that Alice then claimed for Klee. Claimed... or given though? ... The hexenzirkel moving against him makes sense... the conclusion though... can't say it does...
Iirc, in the manga it was Barbatos who chased the dragon away and not Vanessa, and by doing so, he made the lawrence clan forfeit the key to monstadt to Vanessa. But yeah, she did everything after that
I’m still not too sure about Nicole being the voice from Inversion of Genesis. The way they handled that scene makes it feel like it’ll be a mystery for a while, so having an answer get revealed within 2 patches feels…odd. I think this might just be a red herring set up by Hoyoverse, but I do suspect Nicole will still be important.
Alice said herslef that shes got a job (from who knows) and the said job gives her special privileges concerning this world (likely having the possibility to remember) thats does NOT mean that shes a descender . If shes an elfe shes likely from this world but because she has this "Job" shes special. For the other member of the coven such as Nicole and Barbeloth its complicated. Barbeloth for exemple has a very interresting name that could link her to the Primordial One or one of it shining shades
May yet turn out to be right , we have no idea who or what Nicole is , except from Alice ( an exceptional person themselves) called Nicole exceptional.
Why do i have a feeling that columbina was a member of hexenzirkel, some of the witches were on par to god and as archon quest says that the top 3 fatui harbingers were on par to gods in terms of strength. Hmmm..
One of those missing two could be a Ragnvindr, mother of Diluc, because the red tea set seen on the table, can also be seen in the Dawn winery, and we know nothing of his mother so
I think I've seen that image from the thumbnail in another video here on TH-cam. But the thing is, that was long before the update was even released, about a week before.
I wouldn't be surprised if Dottore is related to the Hexenzirkel given that Dottore pretty much give the vibes of Faust, a doctor/necromancer/astrologer who sold his soul to the Devil (Mephisto) for knowledge/power. The Hexenzirkel, I think, is inspired from the group of witches in the story of Faust. I think Dottore has a pact with the actual abyss lord (genshin devil), not the Abyss Order (who I think are just vengeful victims).
Andersdotter could be a reference to Hans Christian Anderson, best known for writing fairy tales such as The Little Mermaid. In fact. Andersdotter means "daughter of Ander."
Unrelated but, I've seen some made speculations about Adventure guild being founded by Snezhnaya; specifically Fatui, but what if it was founded by the Hexinzercirls as their ways to obtain informations about Teyvat, and guide others who sign up to the guild/those who need their help? Now that I look at the Adventure guild crest, it's closest to Hexenzirkel's, and Mona's outfits.
So I’m 99% sure that the person who talked to us when we were investigating Wanderer is N (That’s her letter I think), although before the reveal I thought it would be istaroth
So M (writter of the boarprincess and 6pygmies) could possibly a descender? Because it has been theorized that her books contains anologies that describes what was erased in history via Irminsul just like Nahida's scarameow book. I also wonder how Nicole was able to tell that something had changed in Irminsul, if she's not a descender like you suggest.
Has anyone seen that the tea pot from diluc’s winery was also at the table? I have a feeling Alice considers Diluc as a son because she possibly knew his mother the same way that she is friends with Albedo’s creator 🥺
All I can think about the Hexenzirkel having 7 members, is to tie in the current elements of Teyvat. I wonder if it is safe to say that there is a witch for each element (aside from Alice and Roselyne)
I would ove for Signora (Rosalyne) to be the missing member. I want to imagine that she had an argument with the rest of the Hexenzirkel when she wanted revenge. However the rest of the witches didn't support her, and she left the Hexenzirkel feeling betrayed by her friends. And she hates to be called "witch" because she doesn't want to be associated with those who failed her when she needed them.
about NIcole, to be aware of the changes, you have to be above tevyat world level right? like a descender, otherwise you wouldnt know that changes were happening. Im not saying she is a descender, but the fact theat she knows, she probably is above archon level god status or something
ALL I NEED TO KNOW IS WHY PIERRO WAS SENDING SCARAMOUCHE TO FIGHT IN THE ABBYS. It was metioned in archon quest with scara, but im really curios qhy fatui harbringer would be sent into abbys
This leads me to believe that they'll be involved in the story soon
They already are, with Nicole in the interlude quest
And alice in pretty much everywhere
Alice and Rhinedottir are already part of the story. Alice works in the background, meeting with playable characters like Dori. and ofc, we know Rhinedottir is very much connected to the Abyss mobs like Wolflord and Durin, though i believe she didn't make them to be bad. they probably got corrupted due to whatever the hell is Khaenri'ah doing. then Nicole couldn't help herself and talked to us when Balladeer tried to RKDVT himself. and Barbeloth is already connected thru Mona
maybe you meant, we will soon see at least one of them in person instead of just hearing about them like what we get so far?

Lisa was invited because Alice and the others thought that her values and outlook would match, but Lisa was not interested in diving to deep into the secrets of the world tree so she declined.

Oh he gaslighted us since day one my friend. He said that he is the weakest archon but remember that Nahida said “ an archon power relies heavily upon the number of their believers ”
Besides he has A freaking Church and a cult group who’s not from mondst that worshiped Barbatos, we also learned that:
“To use the wind glider, one needs to sing praises / pray to the anemo archon to get his blessings. Meaning if he does not bless that person, they cannot fly ( taken from a sumeru researcher who tried to create an artificial glider to mock the anemo archon; spoiler alert she failed miserably everytime )”

Considering how strong the other members are, them trying to recruite Lisa without being a successor must mean that her strength is as strong as most people implied her to be
Even in gameplay, she's one of the few that can change the actual sky when using her skill
Could be a design choice.
I mean lore wise the Archons we have in our party are actually holding back their true power to take on mortal forms. I think Raiden could actually use more power by Ei put a limiter on her so she could travel the world in the body without causing to much havoc.
Seems like they kinda have a connection with the Irminsul in some way for them to be confident enough to confront Barbatos that way.

I definitely think there are going to be extra nations/elements after the Seven, but I worry most players aren't going to last that long if nothing changes about the gameplay, and they already said they don't want to make combat postgame for now.

You are right to be scared. All my friends from this game have completely stopped playing before sumeru dropped and have never returned since
Even if I stoped playing this game, I dont think I will stop searching for the lore of it till its end

Also J was a mortal so it makes little sense for her to kill her husband
Edit: ok I got to know that it's confirmed by both hoyo and J's EN VA that it was indeed J.
Well after reading the replies I guess J was previously married and killed her husband when he got old, and she left the hexenzercle when she was remarrying, and then she spent the rest of her life as a normal human.
Ya I too think that she was someone else
but they named the voice of the husband killer as Ivanova, codename J.
I thought the same but then I saw the description where it mentions J's VA. So that kinda confirms it's her. Now this means she either did kill her husband when he was sick n died after or she was remarried and killed her 1st husband
Nah, J's EN VA confirmed that J was the one who killed her husband over at Twitter
Also you can be mortal but still have a long life. The yokai for example, but they can still be killed. Her husband was probably a normal human, and he was dying earlier than her.
OR maybe he had an illness that was killing him faster than her, and she ended his life to relieve him of his pain, before she too followed him years later by old age.
J might have a slightly longer life span than her husband but died

@@Ayzev Yeah I know 😅😅😅 I was debating to list it down or not, but the Wiki does count it as an organization within Inazuma. Although, while they are composed of averae dudes as you describe them, Kuki Shinobu's presence does make them a functional group within Inazuma's society as a group of Odd Job workers
What about the Adventurer's Guild?
@@mariapazgonzalezlesme You're right! I guess they do count. I'm not sure, however, if they would go under International Groups (cuz every Region has them) or Snezhnaya (the Main HQ of the Guild is in Snezhnaya)
If liyue have adeptus in inazuma they have yokai
(Hopium)
About Inazuma, its government system is pretty much already completely exposed.
Much to look forward to
Visionless Playable Characters 😏😏😏
Uncle tian is qixing member
Ningguang, Ganyu, Keqing, Yelan, and 3 other may I forgot.
There is no secret behind the formation of Qixing. Also Knight Favonius, they appeared after the resistance against the vile clan that lead Mondstadt. They are both Archon representatives to lead their nation. In contrast now, Qixing had completely ruled Liyue after Zongli had pretended to be dead. You said where was Qixing when there were 2 attacks of the ancient gods? Who do you think Ningguang and Millelith are?
Bruh i literally checked your channel 5 minutes ago if you had made a video about Hexenzirkel and here we are 💀✨
I think Lisa is what she is now (your resident ‘lazy’ librarian) because she actually chose to guard Mondstadt’s library’s restricted section.
Just what I needed! Keep up the great work!!
The only archon we know they have connections with is Venti but we will see if there is any other
That's the strange part.
Gold isn't fully bad, it's just her actions & curiousity that resulted in mistakes
I'm pretty sure, in order to make her creations/experiments come to life she used the power of the abyss?? Which is why they became destructive
Durin was corrupted by the abyss power and attacked mondstadt but deep down he just wanted to befriend Venti & Dvalin -- it was only until he died he was freed from the corruption (becuz it was the thing keeping him alive) -- We've seen Venti know corruption and how to heal it; it's possible he knew there was no saving Durin which is why he decided to fight instead of talk
She probably didn't know it'd corrupt her creations becuz it's implied that these group of witches --after challenging venti-- became friends with him. Even leaving her only Son (who you can tell she has some kind of affection for) in mondstadt. Albedo most likely misunderstands her too becuz of her actions -- referring to her as master instead of mother & thinking since the other creations attacked, he's supposed to attack mondstadt
Another extremely-powerful-not good-guys-group?! Count me in im loving this!
Imagine we get a Fatui style cinematic for the members of the Hexenzirkel
Not everyone in the group is all powerful.. say there's only a few of them that are actually strong af. the group is created for knowledge and when a situation arise where one of them goes rogue they have to stop the fight.
Cuz the Author is literally just a human that wrote books, One is an alechemist but that doesn't make her by herself strong but her creation definitely are.
Not gonna be surprised if Fischl somehow gonna be the successor of M
michael?

When you haven't finished the Inversion of Genesis quest before doing the event, the Traveler won't piece together in their mind that Nicole was the one who spoke to them (because the Interlude quest hasn't been done yet). That "Could she be the one who spoke to me..." dialogue didn't appear in my playthrough when I was reading their conversation, so I pretty much noticed it here in the video.
imagine they want to challange anemo archons for shits n giggles because alice described herself(if i'm not wrong) as defender of old mondstadt, that woman must've know venti way back to have that level of audacity lol, like thats why she is very casual about it, she want to have a night out with her pals by committing war crime but venti went "girl, i am not a fighter, i dont wanna fight, here, a floating island, nice seats & treats, be gay & spill some tea"
basically they started a podcast, sponsored by venti
The moment I did the event I couldn't wait for your video to drop great content
About Alice, I feel like there's still possible that she's not one of the descender. In Wanderer's collected miscellany, she said that she been tasked with a job that gives her special privileges, and that allow her to see Teyvat in a lot of perspectives. Maybe she's from Teyvat, but she's OP just because she got her "special privileges", not because of she's one of the descender?
2 things:
Rhinedottirs name suggests she's unwillingtly seen as enemy aka her work was misused by Kaenriah's elite
.
I do have a speculation that the Khaenri'ah elders used her as a scapegoat and blamed everything on her.
the end where you compared the hezenzikel woman being replaced like the archons made me think of a "theory" I had in the past about the geo archon; since morax's "passing", we have yet to see another geo archon take his place, maybe because the adepti have intrusted liyue's safety to the humans, but given celestia's past relations to a land cared for and raised by humans, I doubt that they would want to leave it that way lol. we don't know how long it takes for an archon to be replaced, but it would be cool to see a new archon emerge and how the people from it's land would react to it.
2:00 Could the book be about Makoto since she did bring Ei back to life after she sacrificed herself in the archon war.
ok so i have a theory.
Alice is skilled in different field (alchemist, engineering, medicine etcetc)
She managed to perfectly copy the other members voices.
there were only 7 chairs but the entire group was of 8.
we know that some Genshin characters are inspired by a Honkai counterpart (Raiden Ei-Raiden Mei, Venti-Wendy etcetc)
now there is a character in Honkai where her peculiarity was the ability to create another personality in her head...and there were 7 total.
i know its probably wrong.....BUT....i cant unsee it now
Who? Fu hua?
Vill-V
Makes you wonder why the just targeted Venti. If it was power they were seeking, they could have gone after the strongest... still likely Zhongli. And if it was for knowledge... just how many secrets does Venti have? We've already seen connections...
I was waiting for this thank you
It's weird how the last sentence "Five of seven original archons are not anymore" sounds.
The Hexenzirkel reminds me so much of the witches of Re:Zero
You worked hard to get this out so quickly. Very interesting
"5 of the 7 archons have been replaced"
Made me think, what is gonna happen to Liyue/The Geo archon? Since Morax is technically "dead", a new Geo Archon would be selected sometime in the story and we're already past Sumeru. Unless Celestia knows about Zhongli faking his death and still acknowledges him being the Geo Archon.
Maybe he already made another contract with celestia for avoid other new archons to come at lyue
My theory is that we'll get an interlude where Pantalone steals the Geo Gnosis and tries to become the new Geo Archon.
@@icekane7435 Aren't the fatui against archons though, or gods whatever
@@icekane7435 why pantalone would betray the tsaritsa?
I doubt Celestia DOESN'T know. The rite of decension was more or less a show for the people of Liyue in order for them to start relying on themselves. I have a feeling Celestia is more concerned about why the gnosi are being taken from their respective country if anything.
edit: also theres the added voiceline of Nahida pointing out that the heavenly principles may even be absent
With her comment about learning from humanity, and the fact that her fingers are segmented in the cutscene when she put her hands under Albedo (just like Scaramouche and the Shogun puppet's body), makes me think that she might not be human
We do know that the technique used to create these is of Kaenri'ahn origin, so she could be a puppet as well
Kinda funny how she is a non-human that looks clearly different from a real one, so she dedicated her life to creating one that would be indistinguishable.
Thanks. Have been stalling on continuing the archon quests, so I didn't get that internal line at the tea party.
I am calling it now! One of the Archons could be a member of the Hexenzirkel. Perhaps this is a tie in to Fontaine and the Hydro Archon. I'm excited let's goooooo!
Can an archon also be a witch tho?
You may be right as information is pointing us to the fact that Nicole = Focalors / or some other omniscient being .
I don't think that the case
Nicole is focalor
Unlikely
the weirdest thing about this quest was Klee saying that her mom has a friend who writes fairy tales and from sumeru we know how fairy tales can keep knowledge that could be erased in irminsul. we also know how Lisa went and beat up a mage for guess what, a fairy tale, in her very first quest.
Funny
I just came back here after seeing the Fontaine trailer. In the teaser, the twin artists say that what they see is just an illusion...
Genshin lore is just an another level
I wonder if the books left by the writer mage from the Hexenzirkel is coded stories from irminsul
Because Lisa said in her Voiceline on Mona the Hexenzirkel does Irminsul exploration and Tea Parties.
I'm most interested in barbeloth. She sounds like a great and fun character
I like to think Nicole was the one who created teleportation statues to guide outlanders visiting teyvat

Imagine we get a trailer similar to A Winter Nights Lazzo but for the Hexenzirkel
Thank you for this. I missed the event and was struggling to understand the lore.
Hexenzirkel consisting of 8 witches yet the chairs at the floating island tea table only has 7, there's certainly a hidden truth behind it.

(and how that is fated to impact the traveler in the following Dein quest)
Perhaps N is just another Istaroth disguise? She's done similar things in Sumeru with the GoF scandal.
I’m calling it, M’s books are secret code for things changed in irminsul. Like how nahida changed scara’s story to a cat. Why would a group of incredibly powerful and smart witches let a simple writer join the circle
Dang these women can be mondstadt’s government
That makes me even curious as to why they chose the anemo archon as their challenger
I mean venti is the sussiest archon out there if you know who is his family
So, that kinda confirms that Nicole is the one who talked with us at the end of the 3.3 interlude quest
The 8th witch was most likely Signora
The war also involved the dragon that Rhinedottir created (a fellow witch). she most likely left at this time and started hating the witches
4. The Balladeer called her "witch" during his quest in becoming the wanderer. And I don't think he meant it as a twisted person. More so that he knows she doesn't like to be called that for some specific reason and wanted to annoy her.
We must recognise that Venti truly has unlimited Rizz to be able to pacify all of these women who could have destroyed mondstadt twice over.
I think this might just be a red herring set up by Hoyoverse, but I do suspect Nicole will still be important.
i was waiting for this video after playing this quest.
I named my wanderer Florida man and I forget about it , this event reminds me of him
Alice said herslef that shes got a job (from who knows) and the said job gives her special privileges concerning this world (likely having the possibility to remember) thats does NOT mean that shes a descender .
If shes an elfe shes likely from this world but because she has this "Job" shes special.
For the other member of the coven such as Nicole and Barbeloth its complicated. Barbeloth for exemple has a very interresting name that could link her to the Primordial One or one of it shining shades
Those theories about the mysterious voice being either Celestia, Focalors or Azaroth did not age well, or at all given how soon we got this info
May yet turn out to be right , we have no idea who or what Nicole is , except from Alice ( an exceptional person themselves) called Nicole exceptional.
I knew Catwithbluehat would release another video when there's a lore bomb lol
Yes! The lore video I am waiting for.
Andersdotter could be a reference to Hans Christian Anderson, best known for writing fairy tales such as The Little Mermaid. In fact. Andersdotter means "daughter of Ander."
Honestly I thought the Prophecy was about the Traveller and Paimon at first.
Flower not of this world and a Guide who doesn't get lost
8 mages in the circle,7 chairs around the table, 6 mages being introduced. Hmmm susss
3:20 interestingly this line didn't show up for me in in game cause I havent done that story quest yet.
Did you notice that the cutscene shows eight members but there are only seven chairs on the floating island?
Did I miss a something ? 🤔
Just who exactly this istaroth people keep talkin about
@@lucysteel2686 It's the God of Time, and one of the four "shades of Phanes" she gets mentioned in an Enkanomiya book
So M (writter of the boarprincess and 6pygmies) could possibly a descender? Because it has been theorized
that her books contains anologies that describes what was erased in history via Irminsul just like Nahida's scarameow book.
Unlikly
@@abdollahelghadoui5701 So you are saying there is a chance.
i wonder what happens if you do the quest before the story one, if the traveler says something
If I remember correctly Alice also pronounced the letter "K" but we did notre have more details on her
about NIcole, to be aware of the changes, you have to be above tevyat world level right? like a descender, otherwise you wouldnt know that changes were happening. Im not saying she is a descender, but the fact theat she knows, she probably is above archon level god status or something
I don't think so
Nicole is probably an archon, there's a good suggestions that's she may be Focalors.
Even Archons are affected by Irminsul's changes, ex: Nahida, Raiden's voiceline about Kunikuzushi. So Nicole is likely a Descender
@@idkthistree not everyone is descender only 4 is confirm and two are known unknown goddess and traveller
Doubt
Thank you blue
ALL I NEED TO KNOW IS WHY PIERRO WAS SENDING SCARAMOUCHE TO FIGHT IN THE ABBYS. It was metioned in archon quest with scara, but im really curios qhy fatui harbringer would be sent into abbys
