This doesn't feel real yet. I really believed she would live into her 100s. She was one of the most amazing women who's ever lived, both on and off camera.

I so rarely cry when celebrities pass. This is a different story. The world is not a better place without Betty White.
She was a woman who was very well respected, a classic, she could fill a room with her presence, she was a hope and inspiration to many aging women.. Thank you Betty, you'll surely be missed

This gives me CHILLS. I was literally talking with a coworker yesterday who said that Betty White turns 100 very soon to which I replied "I know, let's hope she makes it" and now the very next day I go on TH-cam and find out she passed away. Unbelievable. Rest in Peace Betty you will be missed!!

When I heard the news, it was like my grandmother passed away. I grew up watching her on tv. Rest in Peace, Betty White. A true icon and legend. Thank you for being a friend.

My maternal grandmother loved her show Golden Girls. She’s passed away herself back in 2013 at age 93, but she knew well who Betty White was. Caught reruns of her show when I was little in the 90s. Used to watch it with my grandma.
Respect to a fine woman with wit to boot! Betty is now happily reunited with her Golden Girls cast, Ed Asner, and Mary Tyler Moore up there… 🙏
My grandmother and I used watch the Golden Girls together. Sadly she passed away at age 75 in 2003. I have no doubt that she greeted Betty at the Golden gates as a friend and sister. Thanks for the memories. 💜🌹🕊️

My Nana and I used to watch Golden Girls every Sunday and we would laugh so much! I feel like I’ve lost a apart of my Nana now that Betty has gone! A true legend. I’m so sad xxx
The sad thing is she wanted to have a party for us when she turned 100. She didn't get her birthday wish, so let's honor her the best that we can by watching her show The Golden Girls

She was at the L.A. zoo back in 1975 presenting miniature ponies to Griffith Park.
I asked if she would let me take a photo of her with my 5 year old daughter to which she said, "of course" and she held my daughter up in her arms next to the ponies for a good five minutes.
It was a thrill for my daughter Trace and myself. We will miss her beautiful spirit.

Oh dear, I’m so sorry and deeply saddened to hear that. At age 99 she obviously couldn’t go on for ever, but she has been with us most of our lives on the screen and tv, that we all feel we know her like a friend or family member. Still beautiful at this age, looking back she was absolutely gorgeous! And had such a beautiful singing voice! Shame we were not shown more of her work back then, she was accomplished from a very young age. Never a swear word, smuts or things like that she showed young upcoming actors what could be achieved by clean acting, and we are all going to miss the multi talented lady very much. One consolation is that she will be reunited with the love of her life again, so we must be happy for that. Godbless you Betty, you were loved more than you knew. 😘🙋♀️💕💐XXX

I can’t help but think of her saying to us in her sweet voice “what are you all blubbering about? I’m still here! You can still visit me anytime. After all, I left you many things to remember me by, but I still hope you’ll come to my birthday party. I may not be there in person, but I spent nearly a 100 years preparing for it so I hope you’ll show up! I love you all!” Thank you for being a friend sweet Betty! Oh I'm so extremely heartbroken. I loved everything about her and everything she was in. Undoubtedly one of the most loved and funny women in film and television. This world will never be the same. Whether from the age of antiquity or to the modern time that will be forgotten in a single decade. I may be a simple man, but I hope that the legend of Betty White continues on in her name; And may there be someone who brings the lovable joy as she brought to all of us. There will be no true replacement, but may there be some like her that can. RIP Betty, we will miss the times when we were happy.

When I heard the news yesterday morning that Betty White died, I felt my heart stop. She was the kind of person that I think everyone in the world loved, as if she was everyone's loving grandmother. No matter what she was on, what she did, or whatever she said, it was always bound to be epic.
I should've seen this news coming, but the fact that it happened smack dab at the end of 2021 and about 2 weeks before she would've turned 100 felt like a huge stab in the heart. Nevertheless, she has left behind such an incredible and extraordinary legacy and has contributed so much to our world throughout her long and successful life and career.
"Legend" isn't enough to describe the kind of person Betty was. But things won't be the same without her and we will all miss her dearly. Heaven has gained yet another Golden Girl.
