I personally love the Holiday Collection from Chanel, it's simple yet sophisticated and wearable. I just hope one of the highlighters will be lighter for more fair skin tones. It definitely got me excited as well as CT and Dior compact palette❤

I think the Chanel embossing is to celebrate 25yr anniversary of Coco Mademoiselle. The holiday eye palette looks so similar to one of the upcoming tweed palettes. I’m sure it will be beautiful in person. They are also releasing some new skin care in the le lift line.
I actually love these colors and I use them daily. I personally don't enjoy the reds in palettes so I'm happy. I will usually buy anything Chanel minus the reds and I think they have had alot of great collections this year. This holiday collection looks gorgeous!

The Chanel holiday looks like one of the new Dior palettes and also one from the new Guerlain launch. I'm a bit disappointed with Chanel's launches right now. The fall and the tweeds are a bit confusing. Maybe hold off on the fall eye quad, launch the tweeds with the new lips and polishes and save the quad for another time.
i love wearable, get my money worth makeup that i can hit pan on. i will def be buying the chanel holiday palette bc its a look i would wear weekly. most women do not want makeup that sits on a shelf looking pretty, but that actually is flattering on the face. this launch is for the average woman, maybe not an influencer who has everything already :)

I am most excited by the Chanel palette. I would love if the quality is as good as the Mediterraneen collection. I much prefer wearable colors with subtle differences. I’ll be happy if there isn’t a mad rush for the palette in the way we have had for the Tweed collection.

I was really excited for the Chanel tweed eyeshadows, was planning to buy #3... but I've gathered from several reviews that the quality isn't quite there unfortunately! (Patchy, pigmentation meh.) I don't want to be spending 50+ on just a pretty tweed pouch and tweed embossing that will wear away. I'm really bummed! I hope brands will tone down the collections they produce, and instead focus on quality. More quality above more quantity.
Where did you these reviews? I’m waiting to get #3 as well, and would hate to waste my money - never mine 50+, I believe they’re close to $100 mark. The reviews I’ve seen so far actually really good and it looks stunning. Ugh, decisions! That should be my biggest dilemma 😅

As long as they benefit from those launches, people rush and buy them no matter what the quality, they will not make more effort because at the end of the day the people has the power. Why should they make quality when they can get away with it anyway. If we all stopped buying just because its Chanel or CD or what have you they will emphasise on quality more then quantity and stop this non sense new collection thing 4 times a year its crazy. But if you are happy so go for it and settle for less quality , so be it. I don't buy into this crazy consumerism, I'll buy it if I know Am gonna use it and appreciate it. I have seen several reviews talking about them, most of them agreed that number 1 is the most pigmented one and that the gold sparkly one is very creamy and beautiful. I am getting #1. Hopefully I won’t regret it 😰😅
I purchased the Prada fragrance the second it went live on Ulta’s website. It smells good, but it is SO strong. I sprayed it on myself while in the car about a week ago, and the smell still hasn’t dissipated in my car. It irritates my throat 😩 Now I am torn if I want to even keep it.

I think it’s a Chanel Mademoiselle bottle since last year it was number 5 but it isn’t very aesthetically pleasing from these pictures however I still want to pick it up all of the Chanel launches this year have been amazing and those who have seen this collection say it’s beautiful
Regarding Chanel, the holiday colors are pretty for the right skin tones. The eyeshadow palette has three shades which are too similar. I have pink undertone in my skin (cool). Brassy gold makes me look ill, so all if these will be a skip for me.
I agree about the Chanel holiday collection. I’m more excited about the Tweeds. I’m actually dying to get my hands on the Tom Ford soleil palette, if it ever comes to the US. I’ve seen sneak peeks of it, but no launch Date. And btw, I love these videos! 🙂

We blondes do need a light shade in any palette for toning, which I can't see with the Chanel palette. The chocolate brown is attractive 🤩. Gucci is such a strong brand, not disappointed. Charlotte Tilbury certainly is head turning. I have worn Prada perfume for years and will test it. Lovely overview there Erin, thorough as ever 💗

Hi Erin, I have already tried Prada Paradoxe sample. I would belong it to the Armani My Way family. Opening and developing is very identical. Only dry down is vanilla dominated. It is nice but not very unique because of that strong similarity. So, I am waiting some new release from Armani. New noir version would be great and fall-winter appropriate 😁
I'm definitely a person who sees sneak peaks and don't plan to buy...then I see the collection IRL and I need it all. I'll definitely reserve judgment. And stay out of the comments section, LOL.
I am interested in the Chanel collection but I agree it looks a bit boring. I'm hoping for a relaunch or new take on the Rouge Noir line like they did holiday 2015.. But the highlighters with the moon and perfume remind me of their perfume add from holiday last year? So it kind of ties into that, only a year too late haha

Regarding Chanel Holiday 2022: I have the highlighter Perles de Lumiere and don’t need or want another rosy-gold highlighting powder. The eyeshadow quad reminds me of a combination of 274 Codes Elegants, 382 Lumieres et Vibrations, and 747 Mediterraneen. There may be more, but those are just the ones I own.
I agree with you. The Chanel I was looking forward to but now disappointed. Already having the summer brown palette from 2021 I don’t see the point of buying the Xmas collection.
I haven’t bought the eye shadow pallet by “Isamaya” and, I won’t because it’s really far from what I’m comfortable with. However, ever person I’ve seen on TH-cam who tested/tried it were blown away by the colors and the texture. Have you seen it yet @Erin Nicole

I don’t have any Chanel makeup (more of a Dior girl) but I’ve always found Chanel makeup to be very pleasing at least visually. I like the palette, it’s not “underwhelming”, it’s just wearable. As for the highlighters, I wish they had left out the perfume bottle out of the imprint design. It lowers the visual appeal in my opinion.
The Chanel Holiday collection looks like it should have been the No 5 anniversary collection that got delayed by covid/supply chain chaos. I agree with you ,it's a day late and a dollar short, looks like autumn colors. Easy pass. Dior collection is gorgeous and I may pick it up. Cle de Peau packaging is gorgeous but the colors are too red and white.

I love Chanel but the holiday collection is underwhelming. I remember seeing this moon design last year on their holiday packings and store display… Wish they would come up with something new and exciting.
The Chanel collection may have been things designed for the 100th No.5 year, but supply issues caused them to not arrive. I might just be too kind on Chanel... With Dior going repetitive on the reds and oranges, and Chanel going guns on the browns and metals, it feels so meh.
I wish so very much that Chanel would offer a description of their foundation rather than just having a number. I like their foundation but it is just too much of a hassle.
The Chanel eyeshadow palette is a super bore and definitely going to be overpriced with that said I will get the deeper highlighter 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I may pick up the berry blush from Gucci.

The Chanel highlighters are the color of old door hinges-not what immediately springs to mind when one thinks of highlighters.

Regarding Chanel, the holiday colors are pretty for the right skin tones. The eyeshadow palette has three shades which are too similar. I have pink undertone in my skin (cool). Brassy gold makes me look ill, so all if these will be a skip for me.
I agree about the Chanel holiday collection. I’m more excited about the Tweeds. I’m actually dying to get my hands on the Tom Ford soleil palette, if it ever comes to the US. I’ve seen sneak peeks of it, but no launch

I've been waiting for your review; thank you! I agree with another comment that the Chanel is wearable. I will definitely be buying at least one of the eye palettes. I really like your lip color, are you wearing a gloss over the Rouge Allure 194? I am really liking Chanel's nude colors.

We blondes do need a light shade in any palette for toning, which I can't see with the Chanel palette. The chocolate brown is attractive 🤩. Gucci is such a strong brand, not disappointed. Charlotte Tilbury certainly is head turning.
I have worn Prada perfume for years and will test it.

It's amazing like you said no creasing hydrating, blurring and great coverage ♥ as for the Chanel collection I love the color story because that's what I typical wear as well however I'll skip. I have these colors from Chanel and from PML and ND so that's my two cents.

I’m not impressed. I’m so disappointed in the brand. I feel like they recycle, reuse, increase the price on everything they do now. I can no longer justify buying some collections. It’s really sad! Hi Erin, I have already tried Prada Paradoxe sample. I would belong it to the Armani My Way family. Opening and developing is very identical. Only dry down is vanilla dominated. It is nice but not very unique because of that strong similarity. So, I am waiting some new release from Armani. New noir version would be great and fall-winter appropriate 😁

I am interested in the Chanel collection but I agree it looks a bit boring. I'm hoping for a relaunch or new take on the Rouge Noir line like they did holiday 2015.. But the highlighters with the moon and perfume remind me of their perfume add from holiday last year? So it kind of ties into that, only a year too late haha

Regarding Chanel Holiday 2022: I have the highlighter Perles de Lumiere and don’t need or want another rosy-gold highlighting powder. The eyeshadow quad reminds me of a combination of 274 Codes Elegants, 382 Lumieres et Vibrations, and 747 Mediterraneen. There may be more, but those are just the ones I own.
Oh and Les Beiges eye quint Intense too!
I agree with you. The Chanel I was looking forward to but now disappointed. Already having the summer brown palette from 2021 I don’t see the point of buying the Xmas collection.
I haven’t bought the eye shadow pallet by “Isamaya”
and, I won’t because it’s really far from what I’m comfortable with. However, ever person I’ve seen on TH-cam who tested/tried it were blown away by the colors and the texture.

I don’t have any Chanel makeup (more of a Dior girl) but I’ve always found Chanel makeup to be very pleasing at least visually. I like the palette, it’s not “underwhelming”, it’s just wearable. As for the highlighters, I wish they had left out the perfume bottle out of the imprint design. It lowers the visual appeal in my opinion.

The Chanel Holiday collection looks like it should have been the No 5 anniversary collection that got delayed by covid/supply chain chaos. I agree with you ,it's a day late and a dollar short, looks like autumn colors. Easy pass. Dior collection is gorgeous and I may pick it up. Cle de Peau packaging is gorgeous but the colors are too red and white.
I had the same thought, seems like left overs from the N.5 celebration? It looks like their old eyeshadow formula which is more metallic though so I'm interested! xx

The Chanel collection may have been things designed for the 100th No.5 year, but supply issues caused them to not arrive. I might just be too kind on Chanel...
With Dior going repetitive on the reds and oranges, and Chanel going guns on the browns and metals, it feels so meh.
Maybe once we get closer to the holidays we will see more exciting launches :) xx

The Chanel eyeshadow palette is a super bore and definitely going to be overpriced with that said I will get the deeper highlighter 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I may pick up the berry blush from Gucci.
