@@TioChesnaughty I think it's more of the fact that in gavial the great chief returns we only see male archosauria as scalies and female archosauria as anime girls, so people thought that it was sexual dimorphism, with the hitman and priestess we have the opposite so it isn't sexual dimorphism, it's probably that the gene for being a furry/scaly is on the x chromosome like the gene for hemophilia
Well, i don't really think it is because they understimate the 4*. Think it has most to do that they watch videos of people that did it and they bring full E2 MR3 rare/limited 6* and they still seem to struggle a little bit to defeat the bosses. Your guide pointing out the flaws in those videos is very helpfull. Thanks for making said guide. Because when you watch those videos you don't really put in mind that you can attack the boss twice in a day or stuff like that.
Ethan has to be the #1 operator for defending against raids outside your base. Nobody is going anywhere and when they're all piled up you can just instantly wipe them with some aoe damage

I think people find the mode and bosses especially hard because they aren't used to using the many tools you have access to in RA, or taking out the adds in the first attempt then the boss in the second. The mode needs a mentality shift from the base game basically. It catches a lot of people by surprise.
That was totally my issue First time I faced her it was during Lush season, so the map was filled with water. I also had basically 0 tools I also failed to read that it reset at days end Then after 2 hours of failure I went to bed Then actually looked in tools and saw the boom bots I saw the SP generators I saw the barrier generators I saw the cursed mire and smoke flingers I read the description of dry season and realised it would remove the water I looked at food buffs I then just farmed for the entirety of the Lush and Wet season until I had over 15 bomb bots for stuns and plenty of other tools Did the trash, and a little chip in act one Vivianna butchering the boss as she emerged alone and chain stunned into oblivion. Perfectly done first try Really made me change my view on RA fighting and I am so grateful for that, broke my hoarder habits and just opened it up for so much more creativity

I've been getting asked about it too and managed to come to similar conclusions after reading the wiki entry since I haven't progressed to that in my campaign yet. I didn't read about the massive FPS damage waves though, I think that's even more terrifying! At least there's a bunch of rule bending tools available by then to make this a fun romp if you're prepared. Also, this boss just has Eunectes S2 written all over it...

Totally agree on the trash mobs being a bigger time waste / harder to optimize than the boss itself. Higher rarities have so much cc available to them, she barely ever got two hits in a row off when I fought her. Meaning I could afford to bring more operators for buffs & debuffs since I didn't have to worry about my duelist dying.
I spent a good 40 minutes doing math to find a way to get Hellagur to survive indefinitely AFK. After all the defensive calculations I ran the damage formula and realized that Hellagur (with that team) kills the boss in 30 seconds with just auto attacks and about 12 seconds with S2, so everything I did was for nothing.
I try to clear this Crocodile for a few tries. It's so hard that I probably try this stage 10 times After I fully cleared it... My stupid ass just remembers that THERE IS A FOOD SYSTEM TO BUFF YOUR OPERATORS 😭
I unlocked this but the season changed so I’ve been waiting the whole cycle to get back to the dry season. Thank you for making this. I will definitely have a squad to sort out the waves and a funny squad to hurt the boss
this boss is actually insanely easy if you just bring zuo le and a barrier machine, give zuo le 40% attack food, he can legit solo her if you just use his s3 every time it’s available lol so if you don’t niche play you just win with one op, classic balanced operator amirite
The croc priestess is hard but it's day 100-110 in my current run and that damn Fire Jester boss is roadblocking me HARD. That regen is stupidly fast. Even with tons of frost bombs. Pro-tip DO NOT fight the fire jester boss in the drought season. The fight becomes almost impossible. Either wait till lush season or if you don't mind building up your base and wasting a bit of time. Wait until the Monsoon season as that season silences the boss's insane hp regen ability.
in the end i trivialized him with tier 1 fost bomb + gnosis, the tier 1 dont require those crystals which are hard to farm, instead they only apply the cold debuff. This however was enough for gnosis to perma freeze him in place. this also has the added benefit of being frozen in gnosis range, meaning it gets fragility debuff, thus taking more damage from everyone else
Dude just bring ice bomb. You can easily craft 5-6 of them at that point of the game. Whole RA is about using tools depending on ur situation like with golem fight we had to use anti-stun tool
nice nice, I guess i was worrying for nothing. guess i overestimated how much 400k health was, i kind of just zuo le'd her but Cutter reigns supreme as always for committing murder.
Mlynar+SA combo took out all the trash mobs in the first stage pretty easy, plus Yato Alter for the javelin guys standing around throwing at the lights. As for the boss, Gnosis S1L7 did a great job keeping her from ramping up her damage. Then it was just finding a good DPS, I went with a Blaze+Mon3tr combo, Blaze being buffed by Skadi.

This rule "only blocked causes damage" is a hell for many players. Basically, I avoid to block them if it's possible. And I don't have Sutr, Zuo Lee or whatever-solo-assasin. But your video gave me an idea related to buffs.

oh yeah, I completely forgot that Ch'en even had a consistent stun skill and here I was planning it out, like, "Let's see, I'll need Mousse for the ATK debuff, someone to give Shelter, maybe Aurora for occasional freeze, Manticore for on-skill stuns, and Siege S3 and KroosAlter for best gambling stun chances, W for stun damage buff, Bibeak for more stun periodically, and maybe I could use Ch'en and put her on the other side of the map just for the SP battery for a couple of those plus I need a tanky DPS unit and a bunch of healers and I bet I could use a couple buffers too..." but then I watch this video and, it's like, "Yeah just use Ch'en S1" and then all of a sudden that eliminates the need for like 4 of those units.
Easiest way to deal with the trash mobs, Reed Alter and a lot of vision. You'll need somebody (Like Texas Alter) for the big guys, but aside from that, Reed can solo the field.
Interestingly enough, a maxed out Zuo Le with s3 can pretty much solo the boss, using the sp and barrier devices and the 40% atk buff food, you gotta set up the devices in advance though

"There will be a heatwave periodically stunning your operators" that's RNG I think. I beat the boss during draught and I had no heatwave on this map. I had the sandstorm.

You get a drought that increases redeploy, the heat wave with stun debuff every 50 or a sandstorm that merks attack speed. The RNG is determined right after the 3 day checkpoint, so yes, you can wait for the first of the 3 day cycle and reset if the weather fucks you (stun weather is GG try again). I did it with Skadi buff death squad (and funny enough got Drought) but was very curious how you handled it as a 4* player.
This boss made me want to rewind myself and kys ten more times. Like I’m serious here, so damn annoying and I can’t do a damn thing and her HP just regenerate next day.
Can't you just deploy Mr. Nothing, Erato (with SP device) and any high damage guard to kill it with just three operators? Nothing and Erato will permastun it and the other operator simply chips away at the health.
That sounds awful, since half the time, the boss would be Sleeping, rendering her untargetable by your "high damage guard". This does seem promising for Blemishine though. You can just use the other 9 operators to buff blemishine or debuff the boss.
The Crocodile Spear thrower is some of the weakest enemey in the game. They're only attack really fast. So They're prime CC buff unit Also they're probably is supposed to support the crocodile champion (Champion reduce def of target blocked by 70% or was it 90%?)

You can look up the stream footage for yourself I didn't have a specific strategy and probably played the early days poorly but in general just get a little meat and then rush up to farms
Goldenglow is single target, and you still need to reveal. She’s honestly not that good in ra. The best trash mob cleaners are virtuosa s3, ambushers, and reapers due to their true aoe, though mlynar and silverash are really good too due to their massive range.
@@georgezhang1573 I guess you don't have Goldenglow. :D Yes she is single target, but just like Eyjafjalla she has good aoe around that single target, seeing how clustered the enemies are when blocking, she can delete them in seconds. With her global skill, her placement is also no problem.

And there plenty of other ops who can do both things solo and on top of that do true aoe. Comment higher explains that. She's only good for hunt and especially good paired with Dorothy
@@DrSilvergun So as the boss description, the more of her hp reduces, the damage she takes from operators will slowly go down to 0, I question whether is that should I nuke her fast af before she become immune to damage or retreat to redeploy others to continue inflicting dmg on her
@@alostperson2125 You've misread the boss description She takes reduced damage from operators that aren't blocking her This damage reduction reaches 100% when she is at 50% HP So once she is down to 50% HP only the operator blocking her will do damage. This is why I compared her to the crocodile champion who has a similair skill.
Oh, so THAT'S WHY the boss didnt appear even after 5 whole minutes when i rushed to it in my first encounter even after the timer is up. Sigh, i loved using ranged artillery to bombard the enemies so having to duel the boss is annoying. Maybe i need to get my Zuo raised....

Just wait till the game throws Jester at you in the challenge trip missions

The fire guy who gets buffed in strange territory was so difficult but then using the abyssal hunters trivialised his damage output

Very late hint here but if you plan on facing the boss during non-dry season, I recommend beating the Forsaken boss fight for extra raft

The problem i meet was that my ch'en couldn't damage the boss due to her high defence, , my best shot was reaching 29% of her life
add some large ATK food buff and throw some debuff or other

I didn't have a specific strategy and probably played the early days poorly but in general just get a little meat and then rush up to farms

I do concern more about the amount of trash mobs...
Trash would be a breeze with someone like Goldenglow, but she is no 4*. :D
it's not really hard in terms of dps
more so just deploy in every corner so u don't have to wait for them to walk around
Goldenglow is single target, and you still need to reveal. She’s honestly not that good in ra. The best trash mob cleaners are virtuosa s3, ambushers, and reapers due to their true aoe, though mlynar and silverash are really good too due to their massive range.

Yes she is single target, but just like Eyjafjalla she has good aoe around that single target, seeing how clustered the enemies are when blocking, she can delete them in seconds.
With her global skill, her placement is also no problem.
@@gucky4717 she's only good if u have someone who will reveal enemies for her. When she activates her skill she becomes blind. And there plenty of other ops who can do both things solo and on top of that do true aoe. Comment higher explains that.
She's only good for hunt and especially good paired with Dorothy

@@DrSilvergun So as the boss description, the more of her hp reduces, the damage she takes from operators will slowly go down to 0, I question whether is that should I nuke her fast af before she become immune to damage or retreat to redeploy others to continue inflicting dmg on her

She takes reduced damage from operators that aren't blocking her
This damage reduction reaches 100% when she is at 50% HP
So once she is down to 50% HP only the operator blocking her will do damage.
This is why I compared her to the crocodile champion who has a similair skill.

Oh, so THAT'S WHY the boss didnt appear even after 5 whole minutes when i rushed to it in my first encounter even after the timer is up.
Sigh, i loved using ranged artillery to bombard the enemies so having to duel the boss is annoying. Maybe i need to get my Zuo raised....
