I'll do my best to learn from all of you in the comments but I didn't grow up listening to any music so this is all new territory for me. Nobody can switch there Voices like the Bee Gees. I grow up with the best Group ever. So many Songs and every Song is a surprice. And Barry's falsetto is not from this Planet. Welcome in the Univers of the Bee Gees. ❤❤❤
The subject matter of 'Stayin' Alive' is about survival in the streets of New York inspired by the Nic Cohn paperback Tribal Rites of the Saturday Night, who was the plot for the classic Saturday Night Fever Movie. Since 1977 it is the fifth biggest single of all time from them with 34 million sold EAN units worldwide. It is claimed from in a survey of all radiostations around the globe as most airplayed song of all time in 2017- every 20 seconds - this plays everywhere around the world and for sure it is the most iconic ‼song not only for the Disco aera but also for the entire 70´s decade. It’s a part of our shared cultural heritage now - one of those pop miracles that just never gets old, never wears off, never loses its charge. It remains alive. And indeed one of the most covered pop songs in history.

These guys were British.....born in Douglas Isle of Man......brought up in Manchester....went to Australia for 9 years and kick started their career there.....returned to Bratain in time to be a part of the British invasion......
Enjoyed your reaction and comments. So many of their songs are on my favorites list. Too much heaven, closer than close, love you inside out, are among the many.
They were born on the isle of man, living than in Manchester moved to Australia when barry was 10 and came back to the UK when he was 20. Guinness World Records lists Barry Gibb as the second highest-grossing songwriter in history behind McCartney. Gibb's career spans more than 60 years. He and his brothers were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1994. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 as a member of the Bee Gees. Too much heaven, Fanny be tender, Love you inside out, Lonely days, how can you mend a broken heart, tomorrow tomorrow, world, Kiss of life....... They had 100 songs in the top ten!!!
Thanks for the Info, I just went to their wiki after my last video since i kept messing up their names in my videos that will be rectified from now on. I will be looking at their entire catalogue including some of the songs they each wrote when they were in their solo careers as well.
Thank you for checking out the Bee Gees you won’t regret it. You should watch Nights on Broadway 1975 midnight special, Wind of change 1979 and Fanny be tender with my love. These will shoe you all 3 brothers massive vocal range. ❤❤❤❤
Sometimes Barry and Robin will sing together that gives one sound then they all sing together for another sound. Maurice, the one on the left didn't lead as much as Robin and Barry, so you may not always see him singing. He said that he was the filler between the other two, the man in the middle.
Robin wrote some of the lyrics in the bathroom of the airplane while he was doing his things (he wrote the lirycs on higienic paper)..... Barry is my favourite, He is singging in flasetto, At that time Bee Gees was the biggest group in the world, during four years (from 75 to 79) they were earning the 4 per cent that all the music industry got all around the world....no one (even Michael Jackson, Queen, Abba) and with the only exceptión of Beatles were so big like them during so many times. A very different song, incredibly beautiful and very little famous i recomended to you is "livingeyes" , where Barry sings in two tracks at the same time...in one in falsetoo and the other in normal voice mixin both voices
I did upload that one it should be in the playlist. Maybe I need to see a different one. The music bugged me since it felt like it drowned out the vocals. I had to turn on captions
Barry's falsetto was front and center during "the fever period" (late 70s). Honestly, this is not my favortie era of Bee Gees partially for that reason. Don't get me wrong, plenty of awesome songs came out of that era (You Should Be Dancing is my fav from that era, with this one a close second). But, the Bee Gees have such a diverse catalog with so many sounds and that is what I love most about them. You should try tunes from various eras and leads. 60s Robin Lead: "Massachusettes", Barry Lead: "The Change is Made" (might not be able to find a good video- but worth it) Early 70s dual lead: "Run to Me". Mid 70s: Robin Lead: "Mr. Natural, Barry Lead: "Nights on Broadway" (I recommend the Spirits tour version). Post-fever 80s-2000 various leads: Mo Lead: "Man in the Middle", Barry lead: "I Surrender", Robin Lead: "Fallen Angel", Dual Leads:"Kiss of Life", "My Lover's Prayer, "For Whom The Bell Tolls" (I recommend the 1993 children in need version). As a bonus try somthing from 2016 In the Now (Barry's solo album) "Home Truth Song" or "Grand Illusion". That is a very very brief sampling there is so much more. Love Bee Gees - hope to see more. Thanks for the reaciton.
Your channel just popped up on my timeline. I'm more interested in music reaction. The Brothers' Gibb began singing together as boys in the 1950s. Barry discovered his falsetto just in time to resuscitate their career. And, boy, did it!! They write their own songs and for many, many other singers. Autotune wasn't invented until the 90s. Now, the records companies are auto tuning even the greats like Frank Sinatra. Horrible.
Just a note Im a music noob, I'm glad to have you here but this is a forewarning, I will only get better with all of your help well hopefully. Part of my problem is that I feel I'm partially tone deaf which could be a problem.

First time a drum loop was ever used in a song.

ya seriously
No auto tune - no veneers 😊 God given voices and teeth 😊
really that was the most unexpected thing in all these videos so far.
I don't know why I feel happy to listen to this song...😊❤🎉🎉🎉

Go back to when they were first starting out in the late 50s in the 60s. Nope teeth were all the same and I don’t believe any veneers in this picture.
So I've been told, but damn if his teeth aren't perfect.
