    You are giving Drew Barrymore vibes! Your face and voice reminded me immediately of Drew Barrymore. Your video answered my questions. And your flower shelf is lovely. Thank You!!!

    Beautiful 🤩 our wet climate doesn’t really work to dry herbs and flowers naturally. They start smelling moldy before they are dry. But yours are beautiful! Keep growing 🌸

      Yes I could see that being an issue in some places. A dehydrator will work just fine! 💜

      @BigFamilyLiving is it possible to dehydrate flowers in a food dehydrator , can you do a video about this? I have a food dehydrator but not sure what temp to put them in at or how long.

    Can you use roses for edible purposes that are dying in a vase with water? Or is that nasty? Lol please help

      No I wouldn't use those for eating. Especially if they were purchased flowers. Fresh is best or organic petals dried naturally will work too. Hope that helps! 💜

    Thanks. I love your collection. I can imagine and am experiencing all of the time, effort and steps it takes to harvest, clean, dry and preserve them so I can use them as much as I intend to and share. Your sage bundles are wonderful too by the way. I look forward to watching your other videos. Take care! xo

    Beautiful, I think I could probably dry some flowers naturally in the summer but were I am they probably would get all mouldy which is annoying . Starting my collection today

    Is there a video for the dying process?

    Do you rinse your flowers before your dry them?

    • @bigfamilyliving225
      @bigfamilyliving225  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do. I rinse them under cold water before drying and storing because I use them for cooking, homemade beauty care, tea and home remedies.

    Do you recommend any uses for your dried daisy flowers. I’m drying my first batch today and plan on storing it. But have no ideas and can’t find anything

    Hi thanks for sharing, do you use them for food garnish or plating? if you do, how to you rehydrate them?

  • @fadeddenims501

    When preparing the marigold petals, is it necessary to rinse them first, when pulling out the petals and laying them on, lets say parchment paper or a screen of some sort? Can they then be dried in a dehydrator at the lowest setting?

      Depends on the flower but I have some that hold color long after a year. Dried flowers are a fun collection.
