I came back to Ohio from NYC to stay for a couple months since I'm laid off, and was immediately put to work by my father... building trellises out of scrap wood. I went a step further with my Giant JENGA, GOT A UTILITY WIRE SPOOL , added wheels with brakes, metal plate on the top and painted. Perfect height for setting up the game, move easily around the patio, lock in place so it doesn't move . I use belt sander for the pieces. Also made checkers game on a taller spool and tik tak how on a third, cut wooden Iowa's and tractors for playing pieces. All can double as movable tables during events as well. Bright colors make things fun.
Lol! Grew up in Massachusetts...my dad was a huge scrap wood collector and could build anything. After I had my son, I collected wooden blocks from construction sites. He had a huge tote of great castle-building elements...tons!
Actually good for gardens. The help with moisture retention and weeds. Plants you want will push them aside as the grow if you just give them the hole to start with.

@@feralfoxy "yeah, no." That is exactly how sanders work. They are not vacuums, but hooking the proper type of vac up to them helps to clear sawdust more effectively. Without a vacuum the sander will still move some dust by utilizing the air movement created by the motor.
