I got a 2016 street bob and, like you, opted for the short shots (black). Love 'em. Get lots of nice comments, especially with respect to the deep sound. Not being a bling sorta guy, I love the simplicity of the look, too.
Love the look and sound of the Short Shots. It was a hard choice for me (with the same bike as yours except in black) between the Twin Slash and the Short Shots. . .I finally opted for the Twin Slash. Same awesome sound, but a little less work to install.
yeah me too. I'm just wondering about O2 sensor compatibility for California requirements and how that might play out with the Harley Warranty. I believe the California models have O2 sensors on the stock exhaust. I read somewhere that they will work with the 12mm O2 sensors.. but not sure. Does anyone know?
Sounds great. I had a 2018 model Street Bob and tried the short shots. Ended up switching to TBR 2 into 1 Comp pipes in a similar color finish. Cost nearly twice as much, but was worth it. If you love the sound keep them, but never understood why people try to save money on pipes when they buy an inherently expensive bike in the first place. Sounds great though.....miss mine

I wish the video audio translated how sweet these actually sound. very snappy loud but for some reason the 114 has a deeper rumble too it unlike most sposters that have these on them. cool video!

I've just had these pipes delivered for this bike, the stock excaust has 4 sensors going into it, but these new pipes only have two holes. Can you help me and let me what I need to do please, I'm not the brightest, I just thought I'd save myself a few pennies and fit it myself
I would get the Big Shots. They come in chrome & black. But with the Big Shots, they have a hidden cross pipe that connects the 2 pipes. You get the 2 pipe sound and looks with a slight advantage like a 2 into 1 pipe. Edit: Plus with the Big Shots, they're alittle deeper and produce a good low to middle end tq.
@@vtwinrumbler2449 but you do ride it I hope. If not two minutes of idle isn’t even close to operating temp. The engine and exhaust will be damaged by acids produced by a cold engine. If you don’t ride it, you won’t blow it out. Not good.

I have a 2022 Fat Bob, same engine. I’ve been looking at these pipes and they sound freaking awesome on your bike. Although, I’m curious, did you happen to need a tuner or did you install them and just roll without a tuner? I ask because I can’t get a straight answer one way or the other from other sources. I don't mean to butt in, but there is no bracket that holds the rear foot peg and the mufflers. The rear foot peg stays like it is-there's no need to touch it to make the swap from the stock mufflers to the new ones.

Nice Bob. Can you tell me what kind of brake and foot pegs those are?
Tarazon “mid to forward” controls on Amazon. Pegs come with the kit
Thanks bro
@@vtwinrumbler2449 Was it pretty straight forward adding the forward controls?

Thanks. I still have some more mods to add. 👍🏻
Nice sound!!!
Thanks
So Rad.
Did you lose any low-mid range torque with the exhaust? I have the same bike. I like the look of the 2-2 better than a 2-1.
Nope. None at all

Nice bike. Do you start a bike run it for 2 minutes and shut it off very often. How long do you let it sit before it’s brought up to temp.
2 minutes? Not unless it’s super cold out. I might let it run for 45 seconds or a minute normally to let all the juices get flowing.

Definitely needs tuner after installing pipes
Do you notice a loss in power? Been reading that you lose some in the low end
No. Didn’t notice any power loss.
Did,you need a tune with those pipes
2:30 is why you buy these pipes!
Spoke rims are still the best
Is there anything to be set for the fuel management system as well ? like connect your bike with fuel pack all these other stuff?
where did you order your short shots from, do you have a link to the ones you ordered?
I live in California and wondering if there are any shipping restrictions or other requirements too..
There is a J and P Cycles about an hour from me. I went and picked them up.
Yes for CA they won't ship certain pipes.....
Nice looking bike. I like the sound but you can still hear that sewing machine sound of Milwaukee engine. For me Street Bob died with Dyna.
Hi, could you tell what front foot pegs do you have? Is it mounted on regular place?
2:30. Your welcome 😎
How did you mount the rear foot peg after taking off that bracket that holds it and the mufflers?
I don't mean to butt in, but there is no bracket that holds the rear foot peg and the mufflers. The rear foot peg stays like it is-there's no need to touch it to make the swap from the stock mufflers to the new ones.
where did you find those forward controls from?
Amazon. Tarazon is the brand.
Is that louder than remove baffles? What's the difference between that exhaust and removing baffles?
Better sound, sure removing is louder but wont sound as good
What bars you got bro?
Nice I’m thinking in the same exhaust for my 2023 but did you change your air filter?
I did not change the air filter.
Where are the o2 sensors located
Did u tune the ecm
That's a dope bike
Awesome bike, what handlebars are those ?
Was there any catalytic converter that came off? Thanks!
No sir.

What firmware was installed?I have the same motorcycle, but I can't install the exhaust, there is no fuel card.

Nope.

No. 10” from the factory. These are 14”

I didn’t add a tuner with mine. Seems pretty good to me. No popping or any other issues etc

Are the handlebars stock?
Why is he talking so much. 😂
Do you need a tuner when replacing pipes?
On older bikes I’ve had ive always tuned the bike when I changed pipes. On this newer M8 I did not tune it and it ran great.
Only when adding more air. So if you get a good aftermarket filter like a Arlen Ness Inverted filter, you would need to tune.
Did the pipes void your warranty? And what tuner did you go with ??
Not if u get a
Screaming eagle package also
Where you get your forward controls from ?!!!
got those off Amazon. Made a world of difference.

I did not have to tune it. Ran great after the changeover
Kinda sound like stone cold Steve Austin
Haha. That’s funny

No tuning on this bike when I went to the shorties. The 114 handled the changeover great.
