I just returned from a curated tour in Croatia. What a beautiful country and lovely people. I learned so much about the country from our private guides. I will return some day. Zagreb, Hvar, Split, Trogir were each fascinating. I watched several of your posts before my trip. They helped me prepare for my trip.
Jure Juric's story (below) is lovely - that bridge is a true labour of love! Your kids are full of such joy - treasure these years, you will never get them back. Can't wait to visit Hvratska is the fall!
Thanks guys 🤗 great video ❤ you always bring so much joy and fun to my home alone day ! Kids are wonderful.... So much positive energies and strength...what a great family you are ! Have a nice cosy Sunday 🐥
According to legend, the young man loved a girl (Kuda) who lived on the other side of the Krupa river. He asked her father for her hand in marriage. Her father told him that he could only get her if he carried her across the Krupa River without getting wet. Young men built Kuda's bridge. A beautiful legend that says that real life goals can be achieved if there is determination and dedication. I visited that place about 4 years ago at the persuasion of my wife. On the way to the river, she suffered a nervous breakdown due to her fear of the slope. At the same time, I carried a picnic basket with food, lounging sponges, etc. In Obrovac, we learned that there are plans to build a protective fence. Now I can see they didnt built it yet.
I love Croatia, I could definitely live there ✨ and would love to speak Croatian! Thank you for sharing this beautiful hike with your lovely family, the waterfall and colours of the river remind me a bit of the Plitvička Jezera. Hvala 🌻
True story about this bridge is as stated: Built in dry stone, with tufa stone that was pulled out of the water, by calloused hands two hundred years ago. About the legend that is connected to another reason for the creation of the bridge, the story that most attracts the attention of domestic and foreign tourists, about the great love of two young people from opposite banks of the Krupa river, which is why the hero in whose memory the bridge is named, Jovo Veselinović Kude, they say, built a bridge to take the wedding party to pick up his beloved Milija. Their descendants still live in the small village Golubić.
Predivan video, predivna priroda. Sve čestitke-Well done!
We just have to say (1) Great suggestion! We'll be coming from Ugljan island, so it's an easy drive. (2) What's up with narrow Croatian roads!?!?!?! (3) Nice to see Sophi is a George Ezra fan (Green Green Grass) (4) Hopefully it won't be too hot in July ... pffft, of course it will be! What am I talking about!
@@povijestpovijest9569 i know but I'm asking because I haven't seen one black person living there and some of the people in the store where very rude to me. Like they didn't want to talk to me or help me. Of course lots of people were friendly too but it did make me wonder why some people behaved like that. So that's why I am asking.

Beautiful nature...But those hiking pats little too dangerous for kids...
How is Croatia for people with a dark skin color?
There's a lot of sunlight on the coast.

Croatia doesnt provided OH& S stuff , be careful , no safety barriers , like Australia & CaNADA would
@@to-kra here in Australia it is "Occupational Health & Safety " basically safety compliances
In Europe we are just not used to signs on every corner and well we just use common sense and take care of ourselfs😉
