- On March 17, 2003, TOM and the Absolution both received new appearances, from Tom 2.0 became Tom 3, which were detailed in the End Game online comic at Toonami.com. A comic since lost in time....
Until now.
Thanks to joined efforts of online viewers and fans, enough pictures of the original Endgame comic have been found so they can be assembled into one strip again, like the builders of Toonami planned them to be. I'd like to thank everyone out there who helped me get these photos, and to Toonami for creating such a cool creature that made such a big impact on my life as a child.

Tom 3 was my favorite. Glad to finally know how he upgraded. But it feels like there were a few pages missing. Are there?

No the reason Tom 4 existed is because they wanted to change how tom looked for toonami's 10 year. It never explained if or how tom 3 died but I don't think he did because he hosted the 2012 april fools broadcast and now TOM 3.5/ TOM 5 is the upgraded version of tom 3 being the same mold but in HD is the newest host.

Looking at what happened during Toonami on 11/3/12, there are two TOMs. TOM 3 and TOM 4 co-exist with Three telling TOMino "Maybe we should tell what happened."

I'm so excited for the sequel to Toonami Endgame which explains three stories; how Tom 3 went to Tom 4, how Tom 4 went to Tom 3.5, and how Tom 3.5 went to Tom 5. My prediction on how they went from Tom 4 to Tom 3.5 is that Tom 4, going into deep depression that Toonami ending, committed suicide and jumped into the volcano. Meanwhile, Ghost Planet Industries, the company that developed TOM 1 and 2, as well as the Absolution, went bankrupt. Sara reused one of the old TOM robots to build TOM 3.5 out of depression. That's a theory. A Gay-M Theory.

Tom 2 clearly has only four fingers (three fingers and a thumb) on each hand. Tom 1 had only two fingers and a thumb on each hand.

Actually Adu when he was T.O.M 2.0 he had six fingers in T.O.M 3.0 he had five.So maybe he loses fingers.
I checked and TOM 2 has 4 fingers actually while TOM 3, 3.5, 5 and 6 have 5 fingers
Well yeah, that's the ".5", new textures.
...That and the fact that the block, channel, producers and website calls him like that.
This would have been awesome in CGI. Oh well, I guess they didn't have the budget. :S
Still a cool story. I don't have much experience with TOM 3. By that time period, I didn't have cable. I know Moltar, I know TOM 1, I know TOM 2 the best, but TOM 3 is the one I know the least. I got access to cable by the time TOM 4 came around, but I largely lost interest. :(
Everything didn't feel like Tooami by that point. And now it's gone. I hope it comes back someday.

looks like your the only Tom 3 hater on the planet, sucks for you cause for hating on Tom 3, you'll most likely get hated on for die-hard toonami fans. We are all cool with Tom 1-3, we are cool with any tom as long as he doesnt look gay, and the T.O.M. has to have a badass helmet= Tom 1,2, and TOM 3.

Dude way off. Tom 4 never died and neither did tom 3. And tom 3 isn't back it is tom 3.5. Some people just call him tom 5. It never explains why tom 3 became tom 4 it was likely just an upgrade or something.

I always hated Tom3, infact I cheered when Tom4 came if only for the fact that I wouldnt have to see 3 again. I always wondered why he changed and now I know. God they didnt even have the decency to give the real Absolution a proper send off it had to be blown up in a freaking web comic! I hope Toonami (New version) Dosent use 3 like they did on April 1st, that would be one big stain on an otherwise perfect revival

they are my friend, they are. When I saw the conversation between 3 and 4, I was giving tears of joy. I was glad that the real tom wasn't gay.
"Now just a minute you..." Am I the only who thinks Tom 2 was completely out of character. Tom 1 was friendly and fun but when Tom 1 died and Tom 2 showed up he was cooler, more badass, and clearly programmed to handle a crisis much better. Here Tom 2 is acting like Tom 1. "Gulp." Are you kidding me. There was no difference between Tom 2 and Tom 3. Tom 3 was bigger so it is arguable that he might be stronger and more able to handle physical combat but that is it. I wonder how things would have played out if Tom 2 had acted like Tom 2.

bigevil1001 During the third part of Intruder 2, the Intruder disabled TOM 3 the use of his left arm; luckily, in the final part, he got a new one (it wasn't perfect, but it was close). During the events of Intruder 3, radiation storms and quakes were signs that Shogo 162 was dying; thankfully, TOM and Sara got a new ship: the Vindication.
We’re talking about a version of Tom who was hesitant to even come close to the engine section cause the intruder was eating it in order to blow it up and detach it, and who commissioned an ENTIRE ARMY of combat Clyde’s just so he wouldn’t DO that again.
