A classic build, nicely explained 👍 Two additions though: Creeping Death doesn't bring much to the table, so the EP backpack with the 30% amped damage is much better. Combine that with a Golan Gear piece with skill dmg and status effects on it, roll it to skill tier and you're golden. And for the second part, the Black Tusk tech is not immune to fire per definition, but it has 100% burn resistance. So, by shooting it first with the Firestarter Sawed-off, you reduce that resistance by 50%, and can then set them on fire like any other enemy.
Mr. Buzz, I would like to suggest the Eclipse backpack instead as it would be vastly superior for this build. Eclipse BP is actually one of the best in the game. Wicked is redundant with the whole set, it spreads already and much further. Can have the Wyvern on another slot but you can also get unicorn Golan alternatively on gloves/holster/knees for more status effect stat.
Agreed, and creeping death can actually interfere with and halt EP Indirect Transmission. Bad idea to combine them. Discovered this from Dod reacting to KvD's summit floor 10 build a while back.
Something you could use is the Pyromanic Named Assault Rifle as it sets every fourth kill on fire and it will spread with this build. You could also put the non perfect version on any ar like a Famas 2010 to throw ammo quickly while also starting fires
I run pyromaniac as you do increased damage while they are burning and set them on fire every fourth kill. You wont need any AR if youre running the eclipse protocol with vile mask and either knee, gloves or holster piece consisting of wyvern, golen or hana-u with skill haste/status effect. (if running golen, you swap out armor for skill tier.) I run survivalist over firewall (fire duration) or Technician (skill damage) due to protection from elites, crossbolt armor defeating capabilities, increased damage to targets burning and having another means other than burn stick and fire chem launcher (two I only use) to start fires and can cut off an enemies route.
This is a beautiful display of a build showcase. It has everything you could want or need, and the fact that you not only explained it well but also showcased it in action doing two very important things moving fast and dealing damage.
Very fun build…. I’ve been using something very similar. 1pc wyvern 1pc golan 3pc eclipse (using chest) 1 ninja bag… although the ninja bag doesn’t give the extra damage to status affected like the eclipse bag it allows more skill damage to the build. It’s definitely interchangeable. Along with firewall, foam launcher and sticky grenade it’s Been a really fun change of pace. Side note, I use the mop because as the npcs die from status if it’s equipped I get 10% armour on kill. It’s delicious
I run survivalist due to the increased damage you get for them being under status effect from burning, med kit healing for anyone near you, protection from elites and crossbow bolt one shotting armor to defeat heavily armored targets and adds a bleed which is double status effect damage. plus you get incendiary grenades to cut off routes. I run the vile mask and eclipse backpack wyvern piece (may change to golen if I can find a good one). firewall increases burn duration and its not needed as they will die on a full status effect tick.
Another exotic option if you don't have the Vile mask is the Imperial Dynasty holster. That's what I've been using for a good bit and it's (pun intended) pretty lit.
9 times out of 10, im running eclipse protocol. If its the petnagon or darpa research, I run turret/drone/Jammer pulse (darpa only) for timed trials. at max I run with one other player as well. You dont want more than two total players to make time. due to the amount of NPC's that come out based on the player count. If its a black tusk specific run, I run a full AR build with turret and drone. Just so that I can kill the changas quick. and I will always run survivalist over Technician or firewall due to the the fact that your team gets damage bonus from the specialization perk and the crossbow is invaluable when it comes to taking armor off on changas and warhounds. Not to mention if the team is close to me, whenever I use my med kit, they heal as well.
2 things. Warhounds have no armor, just huge health pools. Your AR should tear them up. For the Chungus, break their gun chains, run behind them while they are kneeling down and shoot them in the ass. They have no armor there, and you can go immediately to attacking their health pools.
I love this build. Finally got a Scorpio drop as a completion reward for that same mission a few days ago and have been trying to build. Definitely going for this one to start.
Built this yesterday and it’s such a laugh. Running around setting everyone alight. Clearing challenging territory zones in literally about a minute. So funny. I just need to get the wyvern backpack to complete it fully but it’s working well at the moment using the Courier. Great build and vid as usual.
Love this game, love these builds you put out, love trying to put together my own and completing all content in DV2! If only i was able to play it without having to deal with the lag, delays and crashes at the worst times during gameplay! (And yes, i have tried most "fixes" people put out there, with little or no improvement...)

very nice build, personally i think using creeping death instead of the amplified 30% dmg you get from the eclipse backpack is a big miss and almost a lazy move. spreading your status effects (if experienced player) is quite easy because of the eclipse body piece. you just have to keep in mind when engaging enemies you focus kill 1. ive tested with and without the eclipse backpack and truly the damage you are missing out on is quite major. still great video and build - anything better than all those hunters fury/striker SOLO GODMODE ULTIMATE MACHINE BUILD AWESOME AMAZING
There's a trick with the sticky bomb I learned years ago: when you ADS with a weapon and doubletap the sticky key, it will hit exactly where your cursor is pointing, and instantly fires. So you can stick enemies from behind corners and cover, and you can "snipe" with it.
I use the BP with the Banshee pulse and fire chem. The banshee basically stops guys and then provides the 30% amplified to fire chems. It’s INSANE!! the amplified makes ip for the firewall spec bonus.
I used to use this kind of build for some time, then I switched to Ongoing Directive + Vile mask and it's been wonders, having bleeding ammo all the time and hitting up to ~700k crits + the bleed from the set + the bleed from vile mask and sometimes the "bleed" from Pestilence, when I need to take down a tank mob.
Yes, the old new intro is back-ish! Honestly though, I love the status builds, I often use them myself. This one is great for speed running, but for group content I would definitely switch to Backpack AND chest for the EC set.
I could be wrong but the double barrel shotty you get for the firewall signature,I think it’s that one. Hitting the robo dogs & tanks with that & then with chem fire will burn them.
It’s working on Xbox kind of. You just hold your aim on the target a couple seconds and they get marked. But the description regarding scoping in should be removed or actually fix the gun so it does. But then again it’s the division and talent wording isn’t their forte.
Yeah same build Kami's been rocking for ages and is also my go-to for certain events. One thing to note about The Courrier is it also knocks about 5 seconds I believe off the cooldown in addition to the extra 2 meter range. However the new brand set is kinda crappy in general AND it rolls armor by default. Better off with Wyvern or even I wanna say Uzina but can't remember one of the sets has Status Effects as the first bonus. Oh and while we're on the subject holy hell how I wish they would just change debuffs to count as status effects. I seriously hate that they don't, it would make a lot of items much, much more powerful (though they would probably need to nerf the Vile and Scorpion to keep them in line)
This has been my signature build for what seems years but I use a china piece with status and damage, depending on what skill your using will depend on whether you use damage, status or explosive damage as the mask goes off a percentage of the damage your concusion grenade does.

There is another side issue "cluster seekers" are delayed when deployed, hell there are glitches in this game I can't even begin to formulate a proper description to explain what is going on. Please pass this on. I know it may come a time where there will be micro transactions; do they want us to pay (play) for something so "Bugged." I could played this game indefinitely if it works. Huge fan, keep it coming. Let's Go.
Creeping death is pointless people as the eclipse gear spreads to all surrounding targets within 15m I think. It's upon death, but if you're dropping enemies fast, it doesn't matter. The backpack the eclipse offers is too good to ignore, as I think it offers a lot of status affect damage.
For my EP build I use the backpack for the amp damage and the capacitor and everlasting gaze rifle. The build doesn't work that well on heroic until you start using everlasting gaze for all the extra burn damage and duration its talent gives
Wouldn't you think creeping death is kind of wasted when the gear set spreads the fire anyway? What's your thoughts there Buzz? Feel like it's a wasted Backpack Talent
I use pretty much the same but perfect bloodsucker on the backpack for survivability and fire chem launcher plus stinger hive for spawn points but everything else the same, will try this build though as I like status effects builds to clear spaces quickly
I got a similar build of what you made, years ago, using the Eclipse Protocol as base. Maybe, I can switch it up a bit this time though. Would be fun for using a shotgun.
@LtBuzzLitebeer I am a newbie with the Firewall build and just started adding point to the specialization. Of course I don't have the vile mask either however I was wondering would the build still be effective until the specialization is maxed? Also, could you run the status effect with the "Top of the Spear" gear set, BC that's what I'm currently using?
If I don’t have the bike mask could I switch it out ins rad for the gun holster that applies burn status affect to the first enemy within I believe 20 meters when you enter combat ? Or even the ninja bike back pack for the additional skill tier which if placed properly could give you overcharge???
So I seen this, went "Hmmm" -Geralt of Rivea. I have the layout of this build. Lemme try it, 80/112 for the specialization. Damn. It worked great with Foam and Banshee pulse, until they accidentally buffed all open world and mission enemies by an entire tier. I wonder if it isn't fixed yet. I proceed to literally run through wall street mission, noticed that they buffed/fixed creeping death so that it's 15 metres now instead of 8. It's instant and has what feels like a lower cooldown on the talent. Wow. All my builds are now viable again and things seem back to normal now.... Fcuk I spoke to soon, DELTA error 6 mins in.
My builds pretty close but I use gunner instead so I can use the banshee pulse and foam grenade in the open world for convoy killing with my friend who uses glass cannon striker build
I need help, please help me on what to buy 2042 or division 2? I have been a fan of the division franchise but can't buy it because I only have pc and I have no money during that time as I am just a kid when the first trailer was release. The crashing of the game really is making me doubt my decision to buy the division 2, Is the crash really that bad and I am quite afraid it might brick my laptop.
Man... I want to be playing but the hard crash/freezes got me messed up. Didn't have more than 2 since picking up the game a few weeks back, but post Update the other day, I get 3-4 in a few HOURS. Which results in me moving on to other games. How 'good' are Ubi/devs about getting Fixes out for this stuff?
I’ve played the Division 2 since release, and then just lost interest in the repetitive nature especially if not playing with with a crew or working the DZ. Season 11 brought me back after not touching the game since playing the NY DLC. And I’m now starting a new agent on SteamDeck, though the last release has made the game buggy. Thanks for the interesting content and ideas to make the game more interesting.
unless you have other people to follow up with damage its kinda hard to take down stuff like heavies and a group of gold like in anderson manhunt i barely beat it solo heroic with fuckin striker
Where do you farm exotics? I have like 5 days in this game and I've gotten....3 exotics? This game is so stingy with drops. Are they afraid of people enjoying their game and having fun?
another using creeping death ecplise build. you basically lose 30% extra damage for useless creeping death, since you already can spread by the set bonus, which makes talent pointless.
Incorrect. Yes, you do lose the Eclipse backpack extra damage, but you GAIN status transfer on application instead of requiring the kill to initiate the spread.
@@LtBuzzLitebeer might as well make a full yellow build with SE if you're using creeping death, especially in DZ... You lose 30% amplified damage for a redundant talent imo. Plus the technician specialisation makes your fire hit much harder (thus killing faster) in addition to the 12% extra damage to robotics whilst allowing you to have 1 blue core for "free" plus the EMP grenades spread on kill so a must against white tusk robotics. Test subject, capacitor or scorpio are ideal weapons depending on the situation but don't forget the perpetuation talent which increases SE damage and duration by 50%. I've mastered this build set up (but with foam and sticky fire and 1 piece golan instead of wivern) and run it for almost 3 years and my clan mates love it as they can run full red builds and melt any content in this game, extremely powerful on legendary for speedruns too. We clear CP's in heroic in seconds in a group of 4 players as it's so easy to spawn kill all the enemies at the doors. It's by far my favourite build, very fun and extremely rewarding for the team.
to hardcore veteran players? you are funny...the hardcore veteran players either quitted this game a long ago or went back to division 1.....they dumb down this game so much that you can close your eyes pick any crap of equipment and you still do everything solo no sweating...
Wow... all this "beginner" builds with x exotics and nameds and SHD level above 2500... 99% of the content creators are doing this kinda click baits, you too sadly... (I usually really appreciate your stuff) This build is by no means for a beginner, which would be someone with a SHD level under 100 or less. Easy for you but not easy for me. Just my two cents...

Um.. you don't have to wait to the forth kill if your running a fire you build it's 25% more DMG over all.
This is hard mode, that protection from elites isn't going to work if your hitting reds and purple.
The pyro amplifies dmg when target is on fire. So the buff is nice. The was the op's point on this thread.

That is a good option. Is it still on a 60 second timer?
Plus the 20% burn duration from the firewall that holster is pretty good

4 piece eclipse protocol vile mask and Golan knee pads. Scorpio shotgun and carnage LMG with burn sticky and stinger hive. Technician specialization.

My preferred Eclipse build uses Fire Sticky and Riot Foam. Nothing like ensnared targets that are on fire.

For the extra damage...agreed. The difference is spread on contact versus spread on kill.

The backpack the eclipse offers is too good to ignore, as I think it offers a lot of status affect damage.

For my EP build I use the backpack for the amp damage and the capacitor and everlasting gaze rifle. The build doesn't work that well on heroic until you start using everlasting gaze for all the extra burn damage and duration its talent gives
Wouldn't you think creeping death is kind of wasted when the gear set spreads the fire anyway? What's your thoughts there Buzz? Feel like it's a wasted Backpack Talent
I use pretty much the same but perfect bloodsucker on the backpack for survivability and fire chem launcher plus stinger hive for spawn points but everything else the same, will try this build though as I like status effects builds to clear spaces quickly

Good build, for speed run below heroic difficulty. I think EP backpack talent stronger than Creeping Death, it's easier to get too
I got a similar build of what you made, years ago, using the Eclipse Protocol as base. Maybe, I can switch it up a bit this time though. Would be fun for using a shotgun.
@LtBuzzLitebeer I am a newbie with the Firewall build and just started adding point to the specialization. Of course I don't have the vile mask either however I was wondering would the build still be effective until the specialization is maxed? Also, could you run the status effect with the "Top of the Spear" gear set, BC that's what I'm currently using?

I've asked around a bit before, I thought the scorpio is not affected by the eclipse's talents?
The Vile mask Toxic Delivery is what will benefit from Scorpio.

If I don’t have the bike mask could I switch it out ins rad for the gun holster that applies burn status affect to the first enemy within I believe 20 meters when you enter combat ? Or even the ninja bike back pack for the additional skill tier which if placed properly could give you overcharge???
I love this game but I honestly just get so overwhelmed with all the different builds etc.
So I seen this, went "Hmmm" -Geralt of Rivea. I have the layout of this build. Lemme try it, 80/112 for the specialization. Damn. It worked great with Foam and Banshee pulse, until they accidentally buffed all open world and mission enemies by an entire tier. I wonder if it isn't fixed yet.
I proceed to literally run through wall street mission, noticed that they buffed/fixed creeping death so that it's 15 metres now instead of 8. It's instant and has what feels like a lower cooldown on the talent. Wow. All my builds are now viable again and things seem back to normal now.... Fcuk I spoke to soon, DELTA error 6 mins in.

My builds pretty close but I use gunner instead so I can use the banshee pulse and foam grenade in the open world for convoy killing with my friend who uses glass cannon striker build

I have been a fan of the division franchise but can't buy it because I only have pc and I have no money during that time as I am just a kid when the first trailer was release. The crashing of the game really is making me doubt my decision to buy the division 2, Is the crash really that bad and I am quite afraid it might brick my laptop.

I’ve played the Division 2 since release, and then just lost interest in the repetitive nature especially if not playing with with a crew or working the DZ. Season 11 brought me back after not touching the game since playing the NY DLC.
And I’m now starting a new agent on SteamDeck, though the last release has made the game buggy.

the crossbow works..... the rest are pretty bad. however i just learned that headhunter will proc with the tac-50
The crossbow is extremely slow, but decent for breaking heavy bosses armor.

It's not that easy to get that flamethrower specialization. Some tasks are very specific. Still didn't get it, playing D2 and WONY from the release :D

Status effect builds are REALLY hard to make good for heroic... I find.
unless you have other people to follow up with damage its kinda hard to take down stuff like heavies and a group of gold like in anderson manhunt

another using creeping death ecplise build. you basically lose 30% extra damage for useless creeping death, since you already can spread by the set bonus, which makes talent pointless.
Incorrect. Yes, you do lose the Eclipse backpack extra damage, but you GAIN status transfer on application instead of requiring the kill to initiate the spread.
@@LtBuzzLitebeer might as well make a full yellow build with SE if you're using creeping death, especially in DZ... You lose 30% amplified damage for a redundant talent imo. Plus the technician specialisation makes your fire hit much harder (thus killing faster) in addition to the 12% extra damage to robotics whilst allowing you to have 1 blue core for "free" plus the EMP grenades spread on kill so a must against white tusk robotics. Test subject, capacitor or scorpio are ideal weapons depending on the situation but don't forget the perpetuation talent which increases SE damage and duration by 50%. I've mastered this build set up (but with foam and sticky fire and 1 piece golan instead of wivern) and run it for almost 3 years and my clan mates love it as they can run full red builds and melt any content in this game, extremely powerful on legendary for speedruns too. We clear CP's in heroic in seconds in a group of 4 players as it's so easy to spawn kill all the enemies at the doors. It's by far my favourite build, very fun and extremely rewarding for the team.
to hardcore veteran players? you are funny...the hardcore veteran players either quitted this game a long ago or went back to division 1.....they dumb down this game so much that you can close your eyes pick any crap of equipment and you still do everything solo no sweating...

Wow... all this "beginner" builds with x exotics and nameds and SHD level above 2500... 99% of the content creators are doing this kinda click baits, you too sadly... (I usually really appreciate your stuff) This build is by no means for a beginner, which would be someone with a SHD level under 100 or less. Easy for you but not easy for me. Just my two cents...
