Because if soul juggler did 2 shots of 4 damage every time a demon died demons would be broken as hell. Boom bot deals 4 damage twice. Soul juggler deals 6 damage usually 5-6 times at a minimum, and that's IF you don't have voidlord. Buffing it's damage would just make demons the god tier mid game hands down.
They are changing that next month. Juggler will do 2x 3

This is likely the strongest build in Battlegrounds, largely because if you are going to go bomb build, you are going to end up doing it pretty early in mid game, and it just scales out of control. Opponents simply cannot have the stats necessary to stop it. The only hope to counter it at that point is to put together a triple on Tavern 5 and grab Zapp, but even that can be played around intentionally. Could also do some Zerus shenanigans to get stronger than the early bomb build with like, super early Zapp/Mama Bear or something.
It's not unbeatable, but the chances of you winning if you get it at a reasonable time is like 90%+, you just steam roll everyone you meet, like the above. Murlocs are still gonna be the best late game build, but even super late game this has a chance. The bombs negate the divine shields for one thing. :)
except it relies on rolling baron and triple bomb which is pretty hard to do...
Yeah, I actually faced an absolutely insane build, even better than this, and my run on murlocs was so good, that even though he got all of the value, he simply couldn't kill my way overstatted murlocs. For real, my murlocs were derpy as shit and refused every chance to kill baron, still won. Of course, this was the person I ended up going up against last, cause it destroyed anyone else it encountered.
@@Juslin7989 People don't often go triple bomb, so you do get to see them pretty often. If you grab one early, you are likely to triple it consistently around the time for Baron arises.
@@marcosperezomg Zapp can be played around by using some Mechanical Eggs or buffing Rivendare. He does need quite a bit of stat increase or some cannon fodder covering him by being weaker to survive Zapp. Zapp has Windfury after all.

Had this build today; Gold bomb, gold egg both divine and taunt, buffed cobalt, apprentice, apprentice, gold baron. came in 5th because every time both my taunts got cleared the baron would get instantly sniped, its a super fun build but if you get unlucky it falls to pieces real fast.
You need edwin as your hero buff your Barron out of snipe range
I met some guy with 2 triple bombs and triple baron, it was disgusting. Edit: I mean, I beat though since my raw stats were higher but it looked really cool lol. Too bad for him that he couldn't live longer and get some better deathrattles.

This was literally one of my first battleground games. I didn't understand then why nobody was funding this.
Deathrattles seem like a really high damage start. I've never valued kboom bot though. I'll have to give it a go

Savjz had a video just like this a few weeks ago. There, he made TWO golden Kaboom Bots, golden Rivendare, and a Kangor's Apprentice (I think he had a Ghastcoiler in there too). I'm convinced it's the best possible build in the game
Looks like ,Rivendare bacame a much stronger minion after patch.Mechs have a good deathrattle minions too (egg 4 drop,both 6 drops are ok), so they kinda work well together, especially if you get lucky with t2 egg or good t6 mech drop from shifter zerrus, you can bacame unstoppable really fast.
Yesterday i actually had a game like this. It was quite insane.
Firstly i managed to triple a kaboom bot, and get baron immediately, which is pretty lucky. Later in the game i got another triple kaboom bot and got a triple baron. Those three cards alone was almost enough to win me the game. I just had another 3 cards with deathrattles who just did their things. Among them i had a triple version of the card who gives +1/+1 when it dies(don’t remember the name) and one that summons 1 cost minions when it dies to get rid of shields and stuff. On top of that i got a triple mech samurai.
That was probably my luckiest game ever.
I actually tried to meke a selfless hero build and ended up in fourth place
I know this is late but as a new player I can say I love this stupid bot; easily my favorite tier 2 I once got so lucky that I basically did this just because the game threw bots at me. Ended up with 2 golden divine shield taunt bots with 20+ attack and a golden baron. 48 damage in bombs per turn. It wasn't just a landslide of rng, it was so clear to me I was going to win early. Literally sat on a golden throne of bullshit luck. Screenshot the warband for memories my favorite game easily.

Deathrattle build has the highest damage potential through random bs spawning of minions from varying tavern tiers. Ghastcoiler and Sky Golem can randomly add so much damage to the board that it's disgusting. But it's also the most fun build as well!
it kind of feels like a lot of +health buffs got nerfed in the game, so volatile builds like this kind of work
i dont disagree with the nerfs and it is somewhat interesting researching the way attack and health interaction works
maybe heroes that give +health as a hero power should be relatively more powerful now because there are less ways to do it?
one of the reasons why murlocks are powerful is coldlight seer, no other cards/effect does +2 health to your entire board (although it would be less effective without the poison crap)

Nothing works anymore i cannot use hidra because it gives 1 hidra per few hours. I cannot use murlocs because it gives 0 life bufs. I cannot use mech cause poison murlocs always beat me I cannot use beasts cause i get no where with beasts ever.
that was the most gloriously disgusting thing I've ever seen. You still had a bomb left and the one before it only used half its damage, so they could have done an additional 9x4
I haven't played hearthstone in like a year. started playing again a couple days ago and just got my first 1st place in bg. I had a big cobalt with two eggs and the golden kaboom+baron combo :D

Deamons are also pretty good now. If you build fat deamons (the ones that scales with self dmg) the only thing that can beat you is poisonous mechanic since there is no more amalgams and mechs is the most played comp deamons are pretty good.
have thought for a while that kaboom bot was kinda underrated as an early game minion, but this is pretty nuts
a couple of hours before this video was uploaded, I had pretty much the same game. Golden kaboom bot with baron, and stomped all the enemies before late game.

I got a bomb build after the new patch that was exponentially better because I was Edwin so zap slywick could not kill my baron. I also had 2x kangors and two golden bombs

This was interesting, since it didn't rely on high stats. Instead, you just had monstrous synergy.
Gold Baron, Gold Kaboom Bot, and Kangor. That alone was horrifying. The Cobalt Guardian was just kinda there for moral support at the end.

I did almost this exact thing just now with triple bomb, triple baron, but also double kangor and a sneed's. pure. endless. chaos.
Blizzard: we will address amalgam in the new year.
Week later: amalgam removed... buffing both mechs and murlocs - the two tribes that sure needed a buff!
Stupid clowns. Removing amalgam entirely can only help the already op tribes as the others are even more reliant on it
Because demon build, lightfang and beast builds are sooooo op, better nerf their only poison/divine shield. It's not like 7 murlocs with divine shield and poisonous are unstoppable or anything...
