Hopefully the beta is mostly for functionality purposes and they plan on adding a bunch on release. It defiently is getting old quick, as great as it is, but that could be saved if they spice it up with more cards!

honestly this is how every one of my games turns into lately, it used to be large stats from lightfang/battlecrys, now its someone gets bran/megasaur every game and starts crushing. I thought I was super lucky going from bottom 4 to the top by getting two tripled crowd favorites within two turns, a bran and a bunch of battlecrys for a massive board, like 60/60+ everything, I couldn't fight the top two players who had poison/divine shield murlocks because I wasn't Nef, or had any token creation.....
To be fair, I do believe this is a very valid strategy if you get offered Brann and can get a triple while on tier 5. There is luck implied in hitting the perfect Megasaur rolls, but the payoff is just insane. Will take you from mid-placement to 1st place. If you don't hit the Megasaur rolls the aftermath might not be that different than if you didn't go for it to begin with.
After playing a lot of battlegrounds, the most important card for them is coldlight oracle. It is too much of a risk to shoot for magasaur early on, and the health allows them to stay competitive during the midgame
I mean, it's much easier to make instant transitions when you've got 2 beefed up Amalgams. Still, seeing the risky play and taking it is a lot harder than you make it seem. Good game

I'd say yes, as the chance to get even one of them is 50/50. Divine shield means that when toxfin inevitably turns up you get very powerful, and poisonous without Divine shield is still powerful. Windfury was also a good roll there (albeit 3rd best). As he wasn't going against nef in the top group, Divine shield was still a good result on its own

They should really make it so that charge or rush minions get the initiative to attack. And for the love of god, add more cards! Warsong commander can be a 2 star card, tundra rhino can lead to a early hydra hit, razormaw can give beast a really nice boost(honestly, poisonous shouldn't be in this game mode) some passive healing should also exist, like bartender, and if want some healing, protect your bartender(just so that even more game can end with different interval) Like, battleground has gotten pretty stale at this point

The only reason people really pull that car is because of the toxfin chance and toxfin is still going to be an extremely common T4 card as it's always been. And that's the problem with murlocs; too easy to fall into the right build with so many different ways to get what you need to succeed.
When i play i need to get 6 tripples at TavernLevel5 to get one megasaur and when i get a megasaur with the tripple Brann, i get 3 attack and taunt three times in a row. Thank you game for being so fair and give the good RNG to Kripp, he needs it.

Dude I'm sorry but that was some bs. Poisonous should be INCREDIBLY rare, even to put on a single unit, or just be removed from battlegrounds entirely. Your opponents were doing well and probably deserved to win, but one single card broke the entire game for everyone. I don't think it's fair at all, and it's not conducive to a game being fun for everyone.

This play was 80% godlike rng. I'm not even hating on kripp, it's just not much of a teachable moment like what his intro suggests. The lesson here is simply don't roll last.

I think by just leaving the cleave and selling everything else and still get the poison divine shield roll on megasaur could have lost him a game. So again, like i said, he DID get a godlike rng i agree, but to be able to pull that off is kind of impressive

If he didn't get a megasaur he would have had to trash his 18/18 anyway which some players might not do. Anyone who wouldn't make a play similar to that probably doesn't understand the ramping power of brann. I guess it's a pretty good lesson for a new player. I remember my first week of playing I would get hard stuck with only 3 other players remaining, not knowing what to sell in order to keep growing.

Primalfin is what makes murloc so consistent and megasaur giving divine+poison is what makes them broken currently. You have a problem with amalg but not Primalfin being able to tutor them lul.

Murloc in general is weak stats wise.... you got to get lucky with the buffs or your board is weak as hell. Not to mention the ability to switch comp with it if you ever really get unlucky. Don't think about murlocs only when they are doing well.... think about the number of time they could have lost if they just stick with murlocs.

murlocs aren't an issue at all.... 4 gold to 5 scout... yeah that's the issue... not the 6 star that makes your (strong the entire game) setup into "your attack and health no longer matter"

1 or 2 murlocs throughout the game isn't a murlocs build. He even said in the stream himself that he is going for a menagerie build. Then he got bran and megasaur and switched to murlocs build.
It's really not that complicated.

Blizz please remove Gentle Megasaur or remove the poisonous and/or divine shield adaptations.
Then murlocs would never win. Bumping the +2 health murloc up a tier or the toxfin up a tier would make them more difficult to work.

More like divine shield + poisonous is broken. Who would have thought infinite attack + infinite health is broken. You could win with unbuffed murlocks that only have divine shield + poison.
But if poison is out, i am gonna Omegalul on my Opponents as Deryl, steamrolling with 16/18 hydras as soon as i hit Tavern4.
They both have a function and serve a purpose, the problem is Murloc has access to both through Megasaur which it shouldn't.
So your crazy skill cap turn was you getting a triple into megasaur with 3 big murlocs already in play, then instantly rolling into a brann? Wow I don't think I have enough skill to see that transition. I mean you just had some shitty random ass cards until no one would ever pick megasaur there. This is why you are over 8k mmr.
