Why is Taunt bad though when you give it to five of your Murlocs? It doesn't really affect target priority too much at that point. It allows you to use Strongshell Scavenger on them with Brann.

Taunts a bad idea cause I can buff my minions faster and make sure that my highest damage unit survives. Not having taunt only made brann have the potential to be attacked and not sure how that is good at all :o +4+4 to all murlocs also seems really good to me..
You don't want to have taunt generally because you want enemy's divine shield minions possibly attack your tokens, which is impossible with taunt on your murlocs.

Honestly there needs to be a reverso to the Murloc nerf. Maybe remove Toxfin entirely and lower Coldlight Seer and Primalfin back down to their original costs. Divine Shield + Poisonous murlocs when highrolled is insanely powerful, but its so rare most people just don't run Murlocs at all.

I did get 1 game as rafaam where I stole a Brann and got triple Brann and a megasaur and basically saved the run, everyone else just left when they saw divine shield, poisonous murlocs with decent health lol
We watch Divine Shield Poisonous Murlocs for the same reasons people watch Nascar, inevitably someone is going to get _wrecked_ because the entire premise is horribly flawed in obvious ways and we would much rather watch something else but it's pretty much the only thing going on. 🤕
Murlocs are either winner or mid game loser. Nothing between - you need your buffs and if you are unlucky with rolls, you get insane damage and when you win, you give just a bit.
Demons can win - depends what your opponents get for the end game. poison murlocs is often RIP but as murlocs are super hard to survive in mid-game there is quite low chance someone will murloc. Mechs you never know. All about cobalt shields. In one of my recent runs Lich King had rebirth on Maexxna and that was really barely won with one minion but in the final round he moved maexxna and got owned. If people are going mechs a lot of demon cycling is required to survive few cobalt hits :)
Earlier on I had a game where I was playing demons, but had been picking good murlocs for a few turns. I had a turn where I tried to switch, but I still ran out of time because the animations take forever so I died to the person I was against :P

yes, it's a plain 1/1 like any other minion, you would just get a golden 2/2 amalgam and a random +1 tavern minion
