Ian is such a patient husband. There really aren't many people that would be able to handle being married to Mickey - he's a great character, but he is A LOT.
Notice how Ian didn’t say Mickey had to stop stealing all together, he just doesn’t want Mickey to steal anything inside the apartment complex. That’s some great compromising haha
This scene makes me happy for three reasons 1) Ian prioritized Mickey’s happiness over his own; 2) Mickey used his words to express his feelings instead of resorting to violence; and 3) they compromised - Mickey can’t steal in the apartment complex but he can piss in the pool.😂
No one should change himself for anyone. But trust me, they both will change unknowingly because they love each other so much. Like what we see, who knows Mickey gonna talk about his feelings, right?

MY thoughts and opinions on Shameless: * Seasons 1-3 were the best. Season 4 was dark, but it was still okay. Everything afterwards went downhill. * Carl younger, as a sociopath was so much more interesting, than him as a cop. Doesn't suit him, and it's boring. * I was hoping for the season finale we would bring back such characters like Shelia (I want to know if she ever traveled the world), Karen (I want to know if she ever recovered with Jody in Sedona), Mandy (is she a successful escort or did life do her dirty again), Jimmy/Steve (for many reasons!!), and last but not least, that we can all agree on Fiona! (Is she doing well, etc) * Tammie and Sandy were horrible additions *I am not a fan as Debbie as an adult- the writers tried way too hard with her
