I have played this game since release, completed all the side quests, completed every Penance on the NG+ and somehow I have still only just noticed that the shockwave caused by the Warden of the Silent Sorrow's slam attack causes the bodies of all the dead Silent Brothers to fly up!

This is probably one of the best story rich games to come out in such a long time. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into developing the land of Cvstodia with each subsequent (free btw) dlc and I'm super stocked for the sequel.
Penitent one has no regret and free those bodies and souls who have been lied by High Wills for hundred years. The tree guy wants to thank Penitent one to free him after all these years. His soul can finally rest now.
Now with the final DLCs up, I can say that Blasphemous is an amazing game. And while I was never able to reach the full ending (seriously, screw you Isidora) I'm really excited for what the sequel will bring.
The music in this game really completes the atmosphere. even if it looks simple, The soundtrack for; Tres Angustias, Exposito and Escribar Final form boss fight really outstands for me.
Haven't got to the final boss yet, but the theme for Isidora is an absolute banger. Especially awesome when you notice the phase transition fire pillars accompany the rhythm.
I wish there was a way to replay the bosses without having to go through boss rush mode, those guilt fragments that can be found where the penitent one dies that can be picked up to refill your fervor bar, well something like that can be dropped in a boss room where if the penitent one interacts with them, they summon a boss in that room, I really loved the snake boss and I want to fight her again
Agreed. Some other games have the "memories" of the bosses allowing you to fight them again if you want. Sadly, if it wasn't added by now, I doubt it would ever will

It's like a mix of Castlevania, Metroid, The Crusades, and everythin' related ta The Renainsance. And the artwork of those 3 dudes at the end remind me of the paintings of Diego Velázquez.
I like this game. It's like Dark Souls or Bloodbborne in a way. Our hero is suffering some form of spiritual crisis, and to find the answer he challenges the reigning gods of his world. And every victory eventually ascends him to something greater and kinder than the evil of the High Wills. He reaches God, Freedom and Enlightenment by challenging those made into gods by stealing from a force holier than themselves. And even if our hero dies, I'm happy he found peace.
Not really. He is brought back from the dead with a mission. He never has some spiritual crisis, he knows what he is there for and what to do. Indeed, the old "good" ending tells us this when he basically finish himself off afer his mission was done.

You cant watch how i did it at 20:04. Its a very slow and long fight tho so you need to be very patient. Its all about dodging his attacks until he lunges forward and you attack him on his way back

You need to get to this room in Desecrated Cistern or Aljibe Profanado in spanish ( mapgenie.io/blasphemous/maps/cvstodia?locationIds=153416 ) and slide down the hole. There is an arcade machine with a minigame where you need to get all 5 skulls and win to get the skin

How are you able to parry the beams from the Tres Angustias, or the magical projectiles from Crisanta and the Amanecidas? I tried many combinations of the sword hearts and rosary beads that I have, so i must be missing something.
Timing I guess, although the Heart of Virtuous Pain increases the duration of the blocking stance. I dont think I used it tho because it messed up my parry timing

For what I understood in the newly added ending, the death of the High Wills also means the death of the Miracle and thus everything "blessed" by the Miracle including the Penitent One and the Mea Culpa will be reverted to their previous state before the blessing, meaning that at the beginning of the game the Penitent One was dead and got resurrected.

Well if you just want to finish the game the ending is after the Archcathedral. Keep in mind that it's pretty easy to get the bad ending tho so be careful

There are actually hints that a REAL God of some kind exists in the world of the game, namely the existence of the sword Mea Culpa, which is able to harm and kill The High Wills, and the Order Of The Kissers of Wounds, who have the ability to heal wounds by kissing them, without being warped by the grievous miracle, implying their blessing *comes from a different source*. If you are still having trouble with Isidora i recomend using the blood cloud spell. It melts her HP really fast

Are you going for the 100% map completion? The last DLC added a new area somewhere, accessible through a ship I think (I could be wrong)

Only one thing: The High Wills *aren't god*. They didn't create the game's world, they were actually humans in the past.
The game is not anti-Christian, Christianity doesn't exist in the world of Custodia, and the High-Wills are A FALSE GOD. That's why The Penitent One kills them. There are actually hints that a REAL God of some kind exists in the world of the game, namely the existence of the sword Mea Culpa, which is able to harm and kill The High Wills, and the Order Of The Kissers of Wounds, who have the ability to heal wounds by kissing them, without being warped by the grievous miracle, implying their blessing *comes from a different source*.
Try actually playing the game and understanding it's lore.

My bad lol. When I noticed the spanish dub it was already too late. I replayed the game a few months ago with spanish dub and it's so much better
@@chobijas lol I'm just playing around. Just finished the Wounds DLC because I somehow missed it after doing Stir of Dawn, but word of a sequel and a true ending made me have to come back to this game. It's a masterpiece and the sequel is sure to blow my mind!
