Nomad is the name of several fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The Nomad name and costume were created by writer Steve Englehart and artist Sal Buscema as an alternate identity for the original Captain America, Steve Rogers, in Captain America #180 (December 1974). The identity was revived by writer J. M. DeMatteis for a minor character named Edward Ferbel in Captain America #261-263 (September - November 1981). The same writer later gave the title to its best known claimant Jack Monroe in Captain America #282 (June 1983). Other claimants of the code name are Rikki Barnes and Steve Rogers's adopted son Ian Rogers. he original Nomad is an alternate identity that Steve Rogers adopts after he abandons the Captain America costume and title.
In Captain America #180 (December 1974) Rogers becomes disillusioned with the United States government, when he discovers that a high ranking government official (heavily hinted to be the then President of the United States Richard Nixon) is the leader of the terrorist organization known as the Secret Empire. Rogers then decides to abandon his Captain America identity, feeling that he cannot continue to serve America after this latest discovery has shattered his faith in the nation's status. However, a confrontation with Hawkeye (disguised as the Golden Archer) forces Rogers to realize that he cannot abandon a life of heroism, and he subsequently takes on the name "Nomad" (as it means "man without a country") adopting a new dark blue and yellow uniform with no patriotic markings on it at all.

Why don't we do the NOMAD hook up with Wolverine in WWII like it was hinted at in an Avengers comic I read when I was a kid when Cap saw Wolverines skeleton in a vat of chemicals and Cap has a conversation with the skeleton talking about the old days it could work out ? In my own opinion about Capt. America there's only #1 superb actor that's Chris Evans as Steve Roger's! To message is to Mr. Chris Evans you did a fantastic job portraying Capt. America/Steve Roger's! There's no other actor that will come nearly as close as you man! Mr. Jim Greszczuk
We already had cap as Nomad, pre Infinity war and Post Civil War.
In the comics, Steve Rogers did become Nomad for a short time, before returning as Cap. So this could work in the pat time line, as a agent of shield.
The MCU has been rewriting the history of the Marvel Universe, obviously without actually reading the actual comics.
And there is a nomad in marvel comics it's his son. Plus there's two Captain America's at the same time with no issue.

Nomad which Steve called himself is connected to a boyhood story Steve read about an American native who was a First World War hero who was revealed to exist in Marvel Universe and fought in many battles. There was a time before heroes appeared in comics of real-life inspired heroes that inspired a few stories. One appeared in early marvel stories this character was created and called Nomad a lone wolf soldier and spy who wore the war paint of an Eagle. Steve Rogers was possibility inspired by said stories?
At this point I'd be surprised if they did this story only because it would actually be successful unlike the crap they have done lately.
I'm really hoping that Marvel doesn't gloss over that. Just the whole "I told you so" moment between him and Red Skull could be a whole episode, it might even bring Weaving back to it. If Johansson is still working with the MCU, maybe we could see her when she was an opponent instead.

Nomad was one of my favorite anti-heroes from back in the day. 90's I think. I believe I still have the four part miniseries AND #1 signed by the creator and penciler. Could be worth some $$$$ if this comes about. Damn, I got to find it in my collection, which isn't small.
I'm still a bit confused... Would cap staying in the past not be a variant having created an alternate timeline? I feel the TVA would have prevented that as it was before the event's of the Loki series.
Haven’t cared about the MCU since Endgame BUT always wondered why everyone takes Cap being an old man at the end as fact given the facial disguise we saw Black Widow wear in the Winter Soldier. Who’s to say he wasn’t still younger but couldn’t show up that way and just leave.

In the comic he does age slower. Not as slow as wolverine but he should look more like 40-50 instead of 80+

Captain America can wield thor's hammer and kang mentioned to Scott Lang "are you the one with the hammer" and he was the one to return the infinity stones and the T.V.A had a draw full of infinity stones. And as much as I know Jonathan Myers isn't apart of the mcu anymore, I hope they don't miss the chance to go down that road

There is nothing to suggest that Steve rogers stayed with Peggy in the past and married her. We only know he went back for the dance. Considering his knowledge of the future and his intense moral compass, there is no way he would stay in the past knowing all the bad things that were going to happen but not being able to get involved. I think he met up with Peggy, explained what had happened the best he could without telling her too much and then moved along. There are stories where he ended up with black widow so it would make sense that he saved a past version of her and they ended up married, he couldn’t tell Sam because as far as that version of history is concerned she is dead. If it was Peggy he could have told Sam because that part of history would have already played out. I think they will both be back in secret wars maybe they get a movie telling the story maybe they just appear and it’s related in flash backs. It depends on how much Disney is prepared to invest in the MCU after a few years of less than stellar films.

Another way they could bring back Cap is.... So when he goes back in time he goes and meets Peggy were they would have if he didn't crash. So if the one that goes back and meets her, the Cap that did crash is still under the ice. Just go get him. They've already shown where two of them can exists in the same time line when they taught each other in End Game. Pop the one in the ice in the microwave and there ya go.

According to MCU Natasha was born in 1984, so That makes zero sense, and you'd have to change her story for her to be older, after making a movie about her, and her sister. Cap then would have made out with her daughter in Civil War, and that takes the whole interaction with Peggy's daughter, Sharron into very incestuous water.
I don't want Steve Rodgers Nomad... I want the Bucky NOMAD. Like the comic book. That was a great series.

A lot of things are uncertain, I make videos on all kinds of movie projects, sharing the latest news and updates or if there isn't a lot of public information trying to figure out the chances of movies happening, theories for what might happen etc, almost all of these movies are based on comics so there is a lot that could be talked about, the videos might not be for everyone but making videos on certain movies and tv shows can also boost the demand for it to happen sooner rather than later, Have a nice one

I agree. I began reading comics in the mid 1970’s and then worked in a comic book shop in the mid 1980’s. What they are green lighting for production is a slap in the face to those that created characters in the first place. They are jumping all over the place trying to just make people spent money to watch crappy movies by not reading much of the source material. The NOMAD character that they want use could be a huge for them if they would have someone research the original stories from it and show how Steve Rogers got the shield and the Captain America name back. It would have been way better what they have been making since DISNEY took over.
