The main takeaway here, is that your friends give you better gifts than mine give me. Guess I need to up my friend game.

Such a excellent lesson on this topic Barry. I've got mine setup in Cubase pro but you talk about aspects of this that didn't know about so thanks so much for that. I've learned even more on this so really appreciate it. and you talking the time and energy to make this video so we can learn about these sort of things. Great job indeed sir . Nice one..

Great to see Barry. It's quite uncanny that you seem to raise just about every topic on all your episodes, that applies to my exact current situation, almost to the day it happens! Like Getting used to Hardware inserts on the same DAW's youmentioned, mapping issues due to Cubase 12 losing settings, my RME UFX+ Totalmix battles etc. Might need to sign up and do the Patreon thing me thinks..

Thanks for this simple tutorial. I always thought there was some settings to account for the round trip latency or DA/AD conversion. Very helpful.

Unbelievable timing, I am just about ready to pull the trigger on a Heritage Audio SUCCESSOR Stereo Bus Compressor and use Studio One with a Focusrite. Thank you so much. Joe

Thanks for still showing how to do inserts in Pro Tools since I'm still stuck using it for education/work purposes. Weaning myself off. Reaper is getting used more and more.

Connecting multiple external midi instruments and being able to have all of them playback in sync is a major topic these days, because lot of people dont want to print audio right away and commit, but there is latency in midi which is very hard to resolve in Cubase and most DAW's, it seems to work really well in Bitwig, but it would be nice to show how to actually measure the delay on each instrument. There is no delay adjustment button in Cubase for external instruments. It would be great to see a video for this issue. Great video as always and this will help a lot of people.
