PS. Remember to lock the front brake by securing the velcro strap (supplied with the jack) to the lever and throttle grip. This stops the bike from rolling when the rear wheel is lifted off the ground.

Hi thete, the video is great! Can you do a video on how to get the front wheel off the ground?
    Thanks,
    John

    OK for the rear axle.
    What about the front axle?
After front tyre change, I am unable to fit the front axle back on the front wheel cause the fork tubes have slided all the way down.
Unable to lift the fork tubes by hand cause too much pressure !

Yes it is only for the rear axle. In the garage I use a a centre jack under the bash plate to lift the front wheel before removing it. On the trail I have helped buddies by lifting the bike and putting rocks underneath. I hope you have been able to resolve your dilemma.

Yes I put a block of wood on my center jack beneath the bash plate to lift the bike at the same level than the wheel hub and so I was able to fit my front axle and my wheel back on the bike 👍😊

Thanks, That's quite ingenious and helpful. In the past I have improvised with a stick and some strong angled plastic. I suppose Long John Silver will just have to hop about now- 😂
