I like how both sides see Eren as something that he's not. Paradis saw Eren as a hero, a hope and savior. Rest of the world saw him as a threat and a monster. In reality, he is the true embodiment of what it is to be human. He has rage, he has love, he has guilt, he has no regrets. We see him emotional and we see him cold and calculating. He is willing to kill others to survive, but willing to die to save the ones he loves. The truest form of humans born from the hatred of their world, tasked to follow a path no one else could walk.

All he had were glimpses of key moments. He forged his own path, which reached those moments. Any action he takes would have led to the same outcome because of how time works in Aot. He had Zackary killed. He chose to distance Armin and Mikasa. He chose to fight Reiner in shiganshina. He chose to let the yeagerists loose on the island. He chose to let his people and comrades drink Zeke's spinal fluid. He chose to fight in populated areas multiple times since the first season and caused collateral damage without a second thought. He would do it all again.

The world has been destined that way ever since the founder came into its existence till the point he is perished and abandoned by a visionary leader quite like Eren has evolved into. Essentially, Eren is the one who gave an identity to Mikasa and Armin and all his nation that can be endorsed by the rest of the world. As far as the conclusive destruction of Paradis is concerned, it illustrates that as long as humans continue to exist in this world, war can not be stopped neither the everlasting peace could be attained.

Greatest character of fiction. To this day, after reading a many seinen mangas, after watching more than 100 animes, I still can’t find any character that comes close to Eren Yeager. He’s way more complex than he appears to be, his journey is fulfilled with tragic events and the development of his goals, ideals/morals and personality is incredibly constructed. Isayama is a genius for creating such a deep and complex story.

The plot of aot is genuis, the unclear "right" side makes you truly think of who is really the bad guy. Everyone has their own reason to fight and have their own lives they want live. But sacrifice throughout the series was a key ingredient to grow an attachement to the characters. For a better future or for family makes them meaning but significant. AOT could not perfected anymore on its development on the different view points that has created such a diverse community on what is truly the 'right' path.

SPOILER ALERT: The reason eren did what he did (global genocide) is to save the people on paradis island, let me explain how. Eren knew that the world is always gonna hate the island devils and by comitting global genocide HE HIMSELF WAS THE ONLY ISLAND DEVIL. By both marley and paradis working together to stop Eren, Marley had a completely different view over "the island devils", they discovered that they are not different at all and do everything they can to survive. He pushed himself away from Mikasa and Armin so those two wouldn't get involved in the genocide Eren already decided to commit, by pushing them away he also put them against him so that they could stop Eren as he planned Eren planned his death out so he would be seen as the only person that was wrong and by getting defeated by the very people he was trying to "protect" the world saw them as saviours
