Bro, I'm Colombian and I can understand you perfectly without subtitles. Why?, In something exams I'm B1 and in one I'm A2.

How could you recommend watching films if I meet new word, expression in movie does it cost try to withdraw this one immediately or passing it cuz the process of learning will go by my own, I mean automatically? The main idea is understanding the base thought, right?

That's an incredible question, friend! People have different opinions on this and it really just depends on how fast you want to learn. Personally, I learn slowly but I retain what I learn because I acquire it naturally (so I would hear the phrase/word, think about what it could mean and move on without translating or writing it down). If I encounter it 5 more times, I'll probably learn it without having ever studied it. However, if you want to squeeze all of the juice out of the content and time you're spending, definitely write it down and review it later ⭐ I hope this helped you figure out which approach is best for you. Thanks for the amazing question ✨
