- 30 days into owning my Mercedes AMG GTS, I wanted to bring you guys on the adventure! With a Mini Q&A on the motorway, and a proper hoon in the countryside in Race mode...I try and cover everything I know about the AMG! (I still can't open the bonnet...hence why it's not in the video!)

Does it have the "Hold" mode like other Mercs? Meaning when your sitting at a stop light you can (if I recall correctly from the last AMG I drove) hard press the brake pedal and it will hold the car in pace for you so you don't have to hold the pedal down with your foot? Thanks
i have to say you bought one of the best super cars you can possible buy today. Me having alot of car knowledge can say that this is so much better then the new R8. The materials that are used in your GT-S are much better and look/feel alot better then the materials in the R8. I got the same issue with the looks. The GT-S just looks so elegant and nicely shaped it looks timeless but also futuristic at the same time, and i unfortunately can't say that about the new R8. I have to say the car suits you really well, in my opinion a Rentech exhaust system is one of the few things that can make this car even nicer and cooler then it is. Enjoy it mate !
Urm. You aren't right. And you aren't wrong. This is your opinion. To others the AMG GTS could be an absolute crap car. It's alright to me, but the materials in an R8 aren't worse than the AMG. It has alcantara and carbon? And may I ask how you know how it is nicer and feels better? Have you been in a 2016 Audi R8? Have you been in the 2016 AMG GTS? And the AMG is a supercar, but I would say barely. Oh and when you comment in the future try to not sound as obnoxious, "Me having alot of car knowledge can say" when I read that I just had to reply. I think after watching your video about possible mods/direction you could take the car, that adding a good number of Brabus upgrades would not only improve the looks massively but also give you savage performance. Also I would guess that having authentic Brabus upgrades would add value to the car.
I guess with you buying the car as the 2nd owner, you've not been hit by the large drop in price the original owner would have. So I think as long as you do things right, you're going to avoid losing too much capital once it's time to shift it. I really hope you get an Aston Martin next, as the price of DB9's etc will go down once the DB11 is finally on sale.
Well, Mercedes AMG never intended the AMG GTS to be the sucessor of the SLS. As a driver's car, the AMG GTS is best driving AMG ever. As a special car, I still think the SLS is a great trophy. SLS may have its flaws, but it is an amazing machine, whereas the AMG GTS is just that little perfect thing - there is nothing wrong with the way its goes... but, in my experience, I feel like there is something missing - don't you think?

It's "aging in"! Love how people notice that as the mileage "loosens" up the car the power starts picking up and car gets smoother. I would love to be in your shoes! ;)

maybe you should try putting a gopro in the middle of that aluminium bar behind the seats (might be a nice camera angle to show the interior and the road at the same time) just a suggestion:)
I love this review. I'm patiently awaiting mine. What seats are those? Are those seats more comfortable than the competition seats that come with the car?

You definitely made the right buy with this car. For the money its the best street car on the market, only other one is the 991 GT3 but that can't tour like the GTs.

You want the coolest AMG GT-S?
Get a nice rumbling exhaust, I think that a fixed rear spoiler would sit well in it, and in the front, get your badge and the splitter the same true blood. I believe that is everything you need to do to get an exquisite, unique GT-S.
Reach for the parking break and then reach even further back under the steering column and there is a lever that you pull to open the bonnet.
This and a Dodge Viper. Thinking about it, they look almost the same, but a Viper has that big ass V10 and is a manual. Would love to have both.

I love the wheels!!!! But it would be really awesome to change the colour of the car to a chrome dark blue and changing the rims of the wheels to the same thing

Before I got a real insight to what a AMG GTS was really like, I would've turned my nose down any day (me being a massive fan of the Audi RS models) but the more I see your videos of this car, the more I would be tempted to want one but I agree, it's too curvy on the outside, if it looked much more aggressive it would be perfect!
I love my clk 63 but time to upgrade to that the GTS!
Paul you should come to where i work which is Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge where you can learn to drift an AMG GTS and also about track driving too.
A really dark chrome red or green wrap would look sexy, and then some different wheels that aren't black, and a fixed wing that is like the same style as the one on the team galag gts but not as big
i think you should go back to the Matte Nardo grey with a gloss black rear wing, front a rear diffuser and maybe go wide body 👌

To open the bonnet, go onto the right hand side and pull a certain lever. That's what I think anyway.

+Supercars of London. For me there is only one treatment this car deserves. Take it to Posaidon in Germany and get that 700HP power pack specifically designed for the GTS. Combine that with the Brabus exterior, wrap it fully satin grey/black (3M 1080 satin series) and brushed metal accents. You've got yourself a Ferrari Lamborghini and McLaren slayer that will absolutely embarrass all cars in this price range.

Hi Paul, not sure if you'll read this comment, but if so than: 1. thanks for awesome content 2. I think you should really consider Brabus. They are obviously really experienced in modding Mercedes cars and are also a well-known and trusted brand (so the car won't depreciate as much). They have an awesome configurator where you can chose only the mods you want (e.g. if you don't like the exhaust you don't have to go for it). Loads of other custom made modifications. And obviously they can make the engine to produce even more power, yet it will be servicable and reliable :) good luck!

There is a silver AMG GTS at the GUMBALL 3000, if anyone can find pictures, the bodykit is definitely a consideration.t he rear wing is a bit LARGE but all in all, it is S-I-C-K!!!!!!!
