Yeah, Roger Taylor... Probably one of the most great drummers of one of the most great rock groups ever existed. He sings very well, and also a fantastic drummer! He's one of my hero's!
It must hurt them dearly that Freddie's gone. I don't blame them for carrying. Considering Roger wrote this song, he can sing it any way he wishes. WE LOVE HIM and always will
For those one who said Roger can't sing: you people really don't know a thing about Queen and Roger's vocal and solo projects or you don't have ears. There's no need to compare Roger to Freddie because they are/were different in every way and in same time very explosive and magical combination in Queen. After all Roger sang all those high notes on concerts, he was Freddie's main back vocal, he sang so many songs on Q albums, so many solo projects. Freddie is the best but no need to disrespect RT
I can tell you how Roger Taylor came up with the title Radio Ga Ga it started out as Radio Ka Ka and it was a title suggested by his small son who upon listening to something on the radio that he had disliked had applied the term he usually used when he wanted to go to the toilet where I found that out is because I have got a book called Living on the edge The Freddie Mercury Story by an author called David Bret and I know that on Breakthru video was Roger Taylor's former girlfriend from ali
Roger Taylor wrote Radio Ga Ga is totally entitled therefore to actually sing his own song. No one can replace Freddie. The music world lost the best voice was he sadly died. But it is still nice to hear the songs performed!
Roger Tylor has a different voice than Freddie, but he and Brian May sing in every Concert of Queen the backing vocals and they are also great singers. Yes they aren't Freddie but the two have also a great voice!
I don't understand the reason for some of the bickering here. Roger is singing in a different style from Freddie Mercury as I'm sure he fully intends to every time he performs the song. Both his way and Freddie's can be enjoyed as totally separate, distinctive performances in their own right without the need to argue about which is best.
*frowns* Did Roger have something wrong with his voice that day? Something about it sounds different during some of the parts. To me it sounded like it got a little nasily and his voice sounded a bit rougher than it usually does...and why are all these people going against his voice so hard? Haven't they ever had a day where their voice goes wack? Happens to me all the time! Roger still did good though! ..I wonder what Roger whispered in Brian's ear... O.o
it's good that the younger crowd is starting to listen to REAL music like this but it's just not the same without Freddie :( it's like getting britney spears doing a metallica song .....
I never said he was a bad singer. When he was with Bad Company he rocked. But you are replacing a lead singer who had one of the most versatile voices in rock history, with someone who has a typical low toned rock voice. At least get someone who sounds similar.
because rogers sounds absolutely nothing like mercury. while nobody will ever compare, having rogers as the temporary replacement was horrid. Gary Mullens would be the absolute best replacement Queen could ever have. Look up his stuff and tell me he couldnt get the job done.
He's not that bad, listen to "I'm in love with my car", he's a fairly good singer, and no he isn't good as Mercurry, but it's still legal for him to sing it. Don't get started on the Rodger argument, seriously it's getting annoying. Rodger Taylor sang this song, so deal with it.
i love the bass in this song its great
Rogers my favorate singer, his voice is fantastic.

AMAZING when all the people clap their hands!

Eric Singer play with all the all stars band in the world !

He did invent the song, and he is a decent singer, so he should.
I think so
It's FreddIE people, FreddIE!!!!!!!
roger wrote radio ga ga,roger can sing radio ga ga! :))
Eric Singer replaced Eric Carr after Carr's death. Coincidentally, Carr died on the exact same day as Freddie Mercury: November 24, 1991.
Holland

where was that?

That goes to show you that Freddie Mercury is irreplaceble.
Why not?
They performed this much better at Jubilee Concert, Buckingham Palace, 2000

Brian really f***ed up the guitar solo at the end.
shouldn't be able to use the name? they ARE Queen, and carrying on its legend the best they can.
no, he just improvised
I thought he sounded to a degree like Rod Stewart!
Sounds a bit raspier than Freddie...but then again, nobody comes close! =P

me gusta k Roger y Brian canten sus canciones...
no me puede gustar Paul Rogers
