The Wave Light (ESP8266 & WS2812B WLED Project)

This video shows how I designed and built a custom WS2812B WLED wave light. I used a few wood framing pieces and programmed a Wemos D1 mini ESP8266 Arduino microcontroller for this LED project. For this project, I decided to try using the WLED software instead of the FastLED library, and am happy with the results. The build was inspired by Nanoleaf lines design and Govee light panels.

Hi, I used the WLED software for this project. So I did not write any code, I simply flashed the free integration software to my ESP8266.
WLED website is here: kno.wled.ge/
There are some quick setup instructions on TH-cam that you could check out if you need some additional guidance for the WLED software. (Chris Maher has a very helpful tutorial on the topic of installing WLED on an ESP8266 with WS2812B LEDs.)
