This is a small part from Johan Halvorsen - Passacaglia on a Theme by George Frideric Handel! You can say a small variation from that piece that people seem to enjoy very much :)

sheet music is like sub titles for the music.
For me it’s like subtitles in a different language tho
Seriously though. Reading along to the sheet music is exactly like subtitles lmao
This is easier than I thought
My brother plays this
He’s 6 whole years above my level and that’s super easy.
I've questioned since I was 11 what this song was called and everyone plus my piano tutor told me this piece had no name, but now I finally found it
I am glad you found it :))
It’s because this melody lasts for 30 seconds in Passacaglia by Johann Halvorsen. In the beginning of the 6 minute piece it doesn’t sound like this, the melody comes in later. Since it’s not heard right of the bat, people don’t associate this melody with passacaglia
passacaglia is not the name of this piece. passacaglia is merely the name of a dance, just like, allemande, sarabande, menuet, bourree, gigue, courante, hornpipe etc. Handels passacaglia is part of a whole suite.
Gretchen Thunberg actually passacaglia is a type of compositional form. It is a piece that consists of a repeated bass line.
Alexandra Engen right. But a dance too! Usually near the Ciaccona. A danse at 3 times, practiced in the court of the XVIIth century in France.
But the passacaglia is not often a part of the suite as the allemande, courante, sarabande, menuet, gigue etc.
There are many songs based on this chord progression. A few examples:
Frank Sinatra - fly me to the moon
Gary moore - still got the blues
Vivaldi - winter
Atumn leaves
Michael Fugain - une belle histoire
Etc.
Circle of fifths, my favorite chord progression
yea bc its a fairly standard and common chord progression at least in western music
Priscilla chan night flight too
Also "leaving yesterday behind" piolo pascual
Слушайте Микаэла Таривердиева и забудете про квантовый круг.
It isn't very difficult. You, that you are reading this you can try it 😌
yah! actually ı learned like a three day or sth
Needed this :)
I am trying. I will make It. Someday. 🎶💪❤️
@andreamellaman1997 don't give up! This piece is actually much easier than it looks! You just gotta get the pattern down for the background
Try it and get crazy in just about 1 hour!
My eyes and ears can understand, but my hands have failed me
Keep practicing and they will start to listen! :)
@Edna Turner sorry to hear that! But fortunately there are many many pieces without the need to stretch.. so you can always play something beautiful :) Best wishes from Bulgaria!
@Edna Turner Thank you very much for the kind words Edna! And Chopin and Bach is the best. Specially Bach.. i love him very much :) Lots of health for you too and all the best :))
@Edna Turner you definitely dont need a large stretch to play good pieces. i can only reach a 10th but i never had any problems with hand stretch
@@leo17921 that's true, if wasn't, how do the kids play things like "nuvole bianche" from einaudi?
Thank you for your sheet music! I'm really enjoying practising this piece! I'm 78 and just love playing the piano.
Glad you enjoy it and great to hear that you play the piano! One of the best things in life in my opinion :))
I'm looking forward to playing some more of your chosen pieces. 'Fly me to the Moon' was my signature song back in the '60s!
60 here, can't believe I'm only just learning this! Been playing since I was 6! He plays it beautifully
You move so smoothly. That silky movement of your fingers screams intense and long training. I hope I'll be able to play like that one day.
Thank you so much! :)) And keep practicing and you will! :)
Αυτό το κομμάτι αντιπροσωπεύει την αίσθηση που αγαπάς ένα κομμάτι και τρέχεις να το μάθεις στο πιάνο🧡
Smooth and soothing.I feel sad and happy to be alive at the same time.It just tugs your heart.
Fun to play with someone who is not practiced, the melody is really easy! Good job!
Thank you Bart! :))
Bart Remmelzwaal this is way too advanced for me ;)
Shadow the melody is quite easy the only tricky part is the left hand because there are tricky jumps but they stay the same so it’s not too hard with some practice
At first I thought that too but looking closer... His finger movements... Right hand 1st finger barely misses his 5th replacing it... Such accuracy! Wow
I would be very cautious in considering this Handel piece easy, hitting the right notes or having a melody repeat itself will help but you must get so many things right in piano playing, interpretation, fluidity, soft touch, correct fingering, right notes, the piano, mezzo forte the forte, the pedal, the tempo, memorization, the heart you put into the piece that the listener will hear
The list goes on
Nothing is easy in beautiful piano playing
It seems easy, but it is not very easy
Only heard this piece of music in the last few days but I’m already obsessed. It’s so beautiful in its simplicity x
Your hand is literally perfect for playing piano, and this cover is the best one i ‘ve heard so far
Thank you very much! :))
My favorite piece ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
i ve just almost burst into tears
your hands look like they can reach 13ths easily
12th easy.. 13th not at all :)
And I'm just here barely doing a ninth
just practice lol
Es lo mismo que pensé... Que manisima
Andrew Vu lmao honestly. I can barely reach a 9th. And its hard enough to keep my hand at a steady 8th as it is haha
Beautiful playing! Starting to learn it tonite!
This is the most beautiful piece that I can play smoothly.
The melody really makes my heart swell. Wonderful performance, thank you for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it! :))
Really love this melody, amazing piano performance!!!
Thank you very much!! :))
Hi, about two days ago, I heard this version of you. I searched the pieces of this song in the internet. Now, two days later I can play it without the notes. Its soo beautiful! Thank you for playing it! 💕
I am very happy that you found the video inspiring and you are now playing it!! :)) Best wishes from Bulgaria! :)
So much beauty in simplicity 💜

So nice and so smoothly
Thank you. It was enchanting. Beautiful music played beautifully. Nita x
Beautiful! I'd like this as my ringtone but I probably wouldn't answer because I'd get too caught up in the tune, haha.
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Wow Handel!! Sounds incredible
Wow... what a song, what a play... Amazing 👏

I would put this piece in my top ten
Acordar com um presente deste? É Deus! Gratidão! Parabéns pelo desempenho e talento.
Hi. After watching you play this, I looked for the sheet music. That left hand was so difficult to play...especially when combined with the right. But after a week of practice, I got so much better...but not playing at your speed here of course. Thank you for inspiring me!
This one made me cry. So pretty❤
Thank you! :)
There is something about this piano music Stanislav that has my attention, thankyou and thankyou (again) for your very impressive piano work on TH-cam.
Thank you very much my friend! :)) Best wishes as always! :)

Thank you for making score available while playing..beautiful!

Beautifully play, Thank you for the tutorial. !!!
Oh, seriously, well done. The arrangement is so nice, and your performance is so gentle and well-played.
Thank you very much!! :)
His hands are so beautiful 💓
Thank you so much! :)
It's so good that I have learned playing the piano with reading notes. I'm looking at this video and can follow ☺️
This is so kind of you & you pick excellent music for practice... blessed
Thanks a TON!
Thank you as well :))
Почему такая простая музыка так красива и гениальна?! Ведь в этом произведении просто каждая гармония является доминантой к следующей, и всë, больше никаких других украшений... Правда говорят, что гениальность в простоте...
The pianist has ET fingers - Extratalented.
I really love that sound I feel really safe
This song invokes hope in me.
This sounds really beautiful
Thanks :)
Çok sevdiğim nadir parçalardan
Such a gorgeous piece! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! :))
Absolutely beautiful
Thank you very much! :))
Amazing performance as always! Keep it up!
Thanks bro :)
I want to put a piano inside of a sailboat and play this song while circling the earth...🤩

Gracias!! :)))
Yes! Absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you very much Camille! :))
Stanislav Stanchev May I ask you to send me the sheet music . I thank you so much Stanislav!
@@camillemousse Sent :)) Thank you very much for listening and for the support!! :)))
Thats wonderful song, one of the first piece that i 've learn
Just wow!!!
Can you feel it, too, like I do? I feel it running in my veins. "Maybe cry a little," says the mind. "Dance to it, swirl on your tiptoes, finally in love and at peace with yourself," says the heart. "Breathe, let it reach you," says the soul. À la fin, ce n'est que la vie :)
Yes, I know what you mean
One of the Barroco's piece that sound like Romantic style or Impresionism.
Heandel ❤
Because this piece is not Barocco's, it's modern interpretation of a line from Handel/Halvorsen's Passacaglia. Would be good to know who wrote it
This is beatiful👏
Me emocionei com este tema! Tenho grande e lindo motivo! Conheço esse tema como Prelude pour piano de Saint Preux...o restante é somente comigo, com um sacerdote e com meu coração.
Excelente interpretación, en pocas palabras perfecto como siempre.
Muchas gracias amigo! :)
Wunderbar gespielt. Ich höre es immer wieder gern.
Vielen Dank! :) :)
Beautiful and very much played. Thank you.

Muy fácil melodia pero con un grandisimo contenido del alma y opus máster del genio Handel.
Thank you for this. I am learning a few of the pieces you've done tutorials for and they've been very helpful. Most appreciated.

This is the best version of Passacaglia I've watched on video.
I listened to it for the first time about a year ago but forgot the name and couldn't find it until now that it was suggested by TH-cam.
Thank you! :)
@@StanislavStanchev Best regards from Chile.
