Alan you sir are one very brave Canadian, I can't imagine coping with that rogue wave alone on the Atlantic ocean must have been invigorating, exciting and frightening wrapped up into one package. I am from Barbados where the southeast side of the island is washed by the Atlantic ocean and those seas are the most brutal to navigate as I have heard from the fishermen on that side of the island. I now live in Toronto Ontario Canada where I yearn to be back there again but with covid19, I am stuck here patiently waiting for some kind of normalcy to return but listening to the national health authorities it's going to be a very long wait. I keep myself busy reading and watching old comedy throw backs on TH-cam. I stumbled upon your story as I am subscribed to CBC I listen all day long to classical music on 96.3FM to stay calm and relaxed. I enjoyed meeting you and hearing about your experience with your sailboat. I can only imagine how happy you are to be back on land with your wife.
