    why force at point D no need to be considered in calculation?

    • @engradnanrasheedmechanical
      @engradnanrasheedmechanical  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Well you can see that we have been asked to find the internal loading at point E therefore we analyse the beam and all the forces acting on the beam by the members attached to it. Since point D in not in attachment therefore no need to find it. For your own satisfaction you can find it by using equation of equilibrium..

    pls on this same question can you go ahead to (1) draw the bending moment and shear force diagram acting on member AB
    (2) using mid steel of yeild strenght 234Mpa, design the size of the member AB with a factor of safety of 1.5

    why shear force Ve is pointed in downward direction?

    • @engradnanrasheedmechanical
      @engradnanrasheedmechanical  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      In order to keep the equilibrium. You can take it either upward and downward. At the end if you get negative value it means that your assume direction is wrong and it should be opposite to what you have assumed.

    how can 500kg be multiplied by 9.8N?

    • @engradnanrasheedmechanical
      @engradnanrasheedmechanical  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      500 kg is mass and to convert this mass into weight which is force we have formula w= m x g where m is mass and g is acceleration due to gravity , m =500 kg and g=9.8 m/s^2 will convert mass into weight/Force. I think it will be clear

      No problem it's correct and try to focus on solving method and practice it. You may get error in my calculations as we are human but ultimately goal is to get concept and learning. Thank you

    In my text book,Ay value is positive. Is it right or wrong
    Cuz yours is negative

    • @engradnanrasheedmechanical
      @engradnanrasheedmechanical  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      when ever you get negative value it means that your assumed direction is wrong it should be opposite to what you have suggested. In my video i have taken it downward which gave me negative value so it should be upward. in yours book it will be taken upward...

    The answers are wrong, try solving them in calculator

    • @engradnanrasheedmechanical
      @engradnanrasheedmechanical  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Try again using calculator. You can calculate and compare the answer given at the end of the book. Remember try to learn how to solve problems rather than sticking to the answers only. We are human and we can make mistakes. Thank you 😊 💓

      Also this is example and you can compare it with the solution. The video is just recorded in order to explain the procedure available in the solved example for those who have difficulty in understanding 😀
