Vanderesch covered for Parsons weaknesses. Trevon’s injury they compensated for. But when Vanderesch went down, the defense was not the same.
Part of that is Quinn's failure to adjust and put MP in the middle on 1st-2nd down
@@hightolerance2500 I’m not quote a “Cowboys” fan but a fan of the game. I enjoy watching good football and good players. Vanderesch always led the team in tackles when he was healthy. Excellent linebacker. Quinn liked to move Parsons around and the skill of Vanderesch allowed him to do that.
2 different positions just say you don't know football DE don't typically get 10 tackles a game playing off the ball linebacker some get that every game

As I was going into middle school in the mid 90's, I watched the 1995-1996 Cowboys Super Bowl season also watching them win Super Bowl 30.
Barry Switzer was coach, and because of their success, I had an impression back then that he was a good coach.
I recall, years later, that Skip Bayless had written a scathing article on that 1995-1996 Super Bowl season of the Cowboys.
I found out that there was dysfunction on that team that wasn't noticeable on the field (on gamedays on TV) as I watched them. From what I read, Troy Aikman basically had to coach that team.
He undermines team cohesion by going out and being critical of the team! He is a NFL player and NOT a fan or talking head!
