Like the first light of dawn, this music opens your eyes to new promises and to all the wonders of nature. Evocative of powers beyond observation, these pieces pull the strings of the heart, attract nostalgia and awaken the loves, the skinned lives and torpor of tormented watchmen
"Gerhart, gather your horses and tack, we are off to Ludendorf this morning! Tell Aufsten to hurry up! That child! Ha,ha, get him breakfast first, son. Mother and I will follow you in the carriage, she has so many flowers to sell! Yes, I will make you eggs and sausage today. Go, now. Get Bruten and Glouten ready for the journey. "
Sorry for the errant comment. Glorious performance on a par with the AAM with Richard Eggar though i think Eggar's is a better interpretation and sounds more 'improvised'.
I’m sure it was just me but somehow the organ sounded slightly off with the rest of the orchestra. Was the organ part played by a computer? Again, it could just be me. Otherwise a lovely piece of music.
Andante reffers exactly to footsteps pace, and it really applies to all, but especially for older music, those notations are not specifically about speed but about feeling and how the music should sound. These Andante movement is in 3/8 and we count this as a 1pulse for compass, not 3, literally never a 3/8 is counted as a 3 pulse. So it is very Andante indeed, if you count like this you could walk slowly with the music pulse and it feels very light, soft and calm. It's not fast at all.

Does anyone know who arranged this version of the score, or where I can find this exact score?

Wish there was a transcription/arrangement for harpsichord. :(
Surely just play the organ part as written. It's in 2 parts, no pedal.

They were playing a half measure before the rest of the ensemble.
Intensão, Atenção...
PERFORMERS? Kind of an important thing. Basic respect, especially since they’re not getting a fluffing dime.
La Divina Armonia, in the description
This organist has a very odd idea of 'andante'.
andante andante vai vai vai... I liked when it was slow, but now hearing it, i love it more, and more...vedo il divino avanzare

@@luisclaudioguerin4870 Spot on, as the Brits would say! 👏
The allegro is very fast.
