Hello, Jeff Chasnov, I am a Libyan student from the University of Sirte. I would like to extend my thanks to you because you have conveyed the information to my brain smoothly, and I hope that we have competent professors just like you...... Thank you.🤗
Thank you so much! Unlike other videos, you explained what you needed to do AND why you needed to do it. You even answered questions I didn't know I had. Amazing video 10/10
thank you sir you made this concept so clear i was felt so annoyed to do problem .By seeing your video i have got to know how do the problem in simplest manner
Concerning this augmented method where you use 2 to multiply the first roll and 1 to multiple the second roll, my question is, is it applicable even in other given equations like this to use same 2 & 1 for the first and second roll?
For the Problem that my professor assigned, the Augmented matrix is as follows -1 1 2 2 3-1 1 6 -1 3 4 4 For this problem, to make the number in the third-row first column zero you cannot simply add the first row by the third row. What would I do?
@twistedblktrekie Yes it does make sense. Thank you. My original question was more along the lines of figuring out what was allowed mathematically for this problem. I was aware that multiplying a positive number by a negative gives you a negative, and that multiplying two negatives or dividing two negatives will give you a positive. However, I did not know that you could manipulate the sign of the number in row one prior to adding it to row three. I was under the impression that I was not allowed to change the sign and that what was given in the original matrix could not change beyond the usual procedures taken in the Gauss Elimination Method.
Plz clarify.....Gaussian elimination has supremacy of solving all types of solutions over matrix inversion method and cramer rule...then why rouche capelli theorem is needed?
It's a glass board in between him and the camera. He writes with his right hand in his perspective. Then he mirrors the image in video production to flip the letters so they're readable and not backwards to us. That's why it looks like people who do this are all lefties.
If we was giving a value that smth of 0.1 under it, and then we had a pivot of 3 above it.. Is it possible to get our value as 0, cos I have tried numerous times to get a number to multiply to 3 and then add to 0.1 to give me 0

How do you write on that board and display it? Surely you're not writing backwards?
@@jordanbrown262 Image is mirrored in the software. I am actually right handed.
Please, What’s the software name?
So do you do this in maths

Great lectures, currently studying linear algebra and I wish I found you sooner, keep up the great content!
Very helpful! My teacher didn't mention what to try to eliminate, so i was aimlessly trying to eliminate things.
this is what has fucked me over so far. thank god for this guy
the explanation is so elegantly done, its so nicely done that I even had time to figure out how he was writing in reverse... truly grateful sir, thnx
How hes writing in reverse..
Is that a mirror..
YOU MADE EVERYTHING LOOK VERY SIMPLE...PERFECT EXPLANATION
High quality and thus simple to learn. Thanks!
Thank you very much Jeff
Thank you, Jeff Bezos for good explanation!
Thought it was him too🤣... But he's a genius ✊
Lol 😆
😂🤣
True😂😂😎😎
😂😂😂
Clear and precise, man done me a solid for my test, big up my G absolute plug. Appreciate it man
Learn to speak english properly you fucking degenerate

Rip English you africano
@@koldblaze6610 he's right, this african needs to learn some english
Thank you Jeff, you just saved my life. I finished a guassian elimination class yesterday and I didn't get a thing from the lecture.
This is the best explanation anyone could ever ask for. Thank you Jeff!
Excellent explanation, i wish all the tutors would be like you sir!
thank you sir you made this concept so clear i was felt so annoyed to do problem .By seeing your video i have got to know how do the problem in simplest manner
thanks sir.. you really help me on this.. more power and God bless.
Thanks so much sir.
In just 20 mins I could clearly comprehend everything my college tutor couldn't explain to me in a whole semester 😂 😂😂
Mr your lesson very helpful to me you came to mylife when I thought matrix is difficult but you brought back my curiosity and you make it enjoyable
Thank you! I had half the idea from a text book but your explanation really made it clear. Row-echelon essentially isolates each term!
Wow! thank you so much for the explanation. I was about to lose my mind trying to understand it from the textbook.
Great explanation! cleared a few things up that weren't covered in detail in my class. Not sure how anyone could dislike this video lool
People who still don't get it I suppose xD
very well explained!!! i looked at a bunch of videos but this was the easiest to understand.
u deserve more subscribers sir ; thank u so much 4 your hard working to made this video

Thank you so much, this explanation is so clear and makes it seem way less complicated
I LOVE YOU SO FREAKIN MUCH FOR BEING SO CLEAR AND STRAIGHFORWARD
Thank you very much sir... I realy didn;t knew what this was all about
I didn't understand anything taught in class that day because I was late for lectures , thanks very much for clarifying that for me simply
I have computerised this a number of times, and arranged for all the pivots to be 1, to facilitate back substitution.
You are an amazing help sir. Thank you for taking the time to make this video to teach others like me.
You are a very good teacher
Thank you, sir.THis explanation really helps me.
Thank you! You made it much clearer. The fog is lifting!
Can you do a video on the method of Cholesky, which is faster than Gaussian elimination
Thank you Mr Jeffery - you are a great teacher.
With the second pivot, we could've also added -2 to -2 making -2 +2.
Or?
Informative.
very helpful

@twistedblktrekie You are correct. I have previously learned that concept. I did not see that correlation until Jeff explained it.

easy to understand thankyou sm mr jeff
This makes so much sense??? Thanks you so much!
Man explained this perfectly in a quarter of the time it took my professors

Im sorry how do you do that with the cybernetic transparent board, it looks amazing
can we do R1-R2 must it always be addition of the two rows can we do subtraction?
Thank you so much 🥰, I have an exam today and this has really helped me
Thank you...God bless you.
For first step u mention to subtract 2 from a row, where did u got the 2 from???
Multiply first row by 2 and add it to second row. 2 times -1 equals -2.
you are the best!
This is so perfect. Thanks a lot Jeff!
his yellow pen is making green and his red is making purple, what a magical man
Brilliant explanation. Thanks!!
Amazing... so clear and the presentation was perfect wow, thank you.
Thank you very much! Very clear explanation
Pls is it necessary to make the entry element 1 before solving
Very good explanation! Thanks...
Super fantastic!
I appreciated your work please may you upload more and more, peacefully I've subscribed to your channel
