@@Revviews Hi! Hope you are doing well. I come back seeking your opinion abit. Love the bike during the past two months. However, a small problem bother me a lot. I'm literally new to these kind of bike. Hence, seeking your thoughts if it's normal to hear the fuel pump noise while riding? The hissing sound is the same as when we turn on that red kill switch. And, It's also getting louder whenever I place my laps on the fuel tank while riding. I went to the RE service center since the first week I had the bike, but they told me that it just a normal thing on the bike. I try to ignore it, but it just getting worse and really annoying. @@waddhanak hello mate. Hope you been having fun on your new bike. Sorry to hear about the hissing noise. I don't think it's normal no. You shoukd barely hear it running.
Really want a Himalayan, from all the reviews ive seen it looks like everything i want in a bike. Not sure why they bothered with Tripr Nav though, it seems that they never work as intended unless the phone is mounted right next to it, in which case you have a better-inbuilt nav on the phone anyway. Pretty pointless as it's intended but it's an easier to read clock than the digital display so it still manages to serve a purpose. I grew up riding a Honda CT110 so the sound of single piston bikes make me happy
Hey buddy! Thank you dude, appreciate that. Pleased you have you with us mate. Lots more on the way. Weathers been pants here for videos of late. Back out this weekend. Cheers 🍻

For the navigation: You have to put your battery consumption on the smartphone at max level (so, no battery optimizing option). Otherwise, U will lose connection with navigation. About the path: don't worry about gravel or unpaved macadam road. She eats it. Avoid mud and high grass and deep sand, need more aggressive tires for that.
Hi Bojan, thanks mate. I'm looking forward to taking her off road albeit light stuff. Never done any off road before. Hope you enjoyed the video. Cheers 🍻

@@Revviews Shure I did! Before U go off-road check out a couple of videos about off road driving. In many situations driving standing is the best option. Body position is like skiing. Or, when you horse riding. Great feeling.
Perfect picture selection in the middle of the video and even without bgm it's nice and effortless exciting and I like your video , no new advices to the shared, how you do is is all good for me , keep doing more videos .
Amazing for your video of 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan Full Review | An iconic machine!. I love your video, I admire you, you are a good driver. Thanks for sharing.🥰
Excellent review. Other changes to the 2021 model are revised flyscreen shape, and relocation of the charcoal filter which used to be on top of the baseplate. I think so anyway! Subscribed 👍
I have never riden one, But I still wish the power was double in horse power and torque. But I guess I have my doubts as it is now. I do like the looks of it. It's spot on!
I really like the looks of that bike, i didn't think that i would like the black, but seeing that one, it's quite nice. I've admired the himalayan since the came out, however , in canada where i'm at, they are not so available to me. From all of the videos i've watched of them, they really would suit my kind of riding , being long past the racing stage i now just like to cruise back roads & some gravel. I have 2 bikes at present but neither one of them is really suitable in my opinion for a little more of the rougher stuff. Thanks for the video, really nice bike. Ric, ontario canada.
Morning Ric, thank you for your kind comments mate and pleased you enjoyed the video as well. Yeah, I love this colour scheme. Just something about it. Really is a peach of a bike and parts are cheap too so great for maintenance. I know the term gets thrown around all the time but I really believe the Himalayan is a bargain. Its like 2 bikes in 1. Thanks again mate and hope to see you back again. Cheers 🍻
Hi David. Yeah I'd agree with you there. Cracking bike and I'm just editing the offroad video on this same bike as I type. That's going live next week. Thank you mate. Cheers 🍻
I bought one of these 2 weeks ago to replace my 7year old 60,0000 Honda forza. How do they build these for the money . Full stainless exhaust, braided brake lines , abs , full luggage, 80mpg. The list goes on for a lot less than a h---a crf 300. Doesn't do power wheelies tho. And you have to oil the chain which you don't have to do on a BMW gs which only cost quite alot.
A white one with grey black fade on tank not much colour choice as they are hard to get hold of at the moment. Apparently in the UK Royal Enfield were the top selling bike brand last year.
Hey Marcin, that's a great question. Both machines are excellent in their own right. For me personally I would choose the Himalayan as daily riding would be more my style and the bonus of light off-road capability would appeal as well. Something I would definitely do more of. Plus the Himalayan has a tiny bit of extra power which would come in handy as I'm a big chap lol. Hope that helps. Cheers 🍻
Nice, practical review with real world considerations. Unfortunately this new India/UK model is not available in many markets as Enfield dumps the older model in US, Thailand and other countries.
Hello friend and thank you. This is true, however the rumour of the Himalayan 650 seems to be a real thing so I definitely reckon that supply will reach further and if they do launch the 650 Himalayan it could possibly be a worldwide success.
@@Revviews Yes. I heard the 650 adventure bike will be called a 'Sherpa', but a 350 and 650 Scrambler will be next. Hope the 650 adventure model is a true global launch, not India/UK markets only.
@@Fogbrush If it is called the Sherpa that name is so cool. I would buy one, that's for sure. Took the Himalayan for some light off road and it was awesome. Pair that with a bigger engine and wow. Cheers 🍻
Morning. I'm 6ft4. 21 stone and found the comfort to be great. Riding position is very upright, nice wide bars. Try one if you can but I think you'd get on well. I did some light offroad that I'm editing the video for and it was incredible for that too. Hope that helps. Cheers 🍻

These bikes take well over 1000 miles to run in then they change become better and even the sound changes good bikes and simple they are better off road than on
Yeah I agree. This one was only a baby. 8 miles. But the dealer said don't baby it as they have run so many demos now and said the best ones are heat cycled before riding then warm up again and ride em hard. I didn't go crazy but didn't hold back either. Looking forward to taking her off road in another video pretty soon. Heard they are great for that. Thanks for watching mate. Cheers 🍻
Will you be doing a ride on the interceptor 650 for comparison, I know they are different bikes but would be good hear what your thoughts are as a direct comparison between the two bikes.
Royal Enfield is on a roll. It has the following models up for launch in the next 12-24 months - Classic Roadster Shotgun Hunter Sherpa Scram Flying Flea and An Electric Motorcyle Also BSA will be launching its 650cc motorcycle by the end of the year.
@@Revviews I hope with the success of BSA and Norton, other marques like Matchless, AJS , Vincent will be brought to life again. The BSA which will be launched first in Britain by the end of the year is something worth waiting for, I hope.
Hi Bikash, thanks mate. Its front middle with the go pro upside-down. So it's lower than the bottom of the helmet by a little if that makes sense? Then pointed slightly up. Cheers 🍻
I hear that the Tripper Navigator drops out regularly...? Did you find out what happened...? Like the review and I like the bike. Thanks. Just a bit worried about the Tripper... If you have the phone in a bar mounted cradle, then why would you need the turn by turn... Goggle maps gives you that...?
Hi Peter, yeah not 100% on that yet. Will be doing a review on the Meteor soon and I'm going to test again. Might have been signal but not sure either way.
So how tall are you? I’m 6’7” and thinking about the new Himalayan, with a Seat Concepts tall seat from Cooperb, plus maybe the suspension lift as well.
@@asmurk1276 Cooperb Motorcycles, Bozeat, Northampton. Look at their website and countless TH-cam videos on the Himalayan. They are about 80 to 90 miles from me, but they do deliver. I’m hoping to try one out locally at first, and there is also a dealer near where I work at Cambridge. I have only seen the tall and comfort seats, plus the other modifications through Cooperb, but also search TH-cam for Tec Bike Parts.
@@maanu2005 just give me your Hummer. Dropped in to Cooperb yesterday and picked up Barkbusters, Pivot Pegz and front fender riser bushes and bolts. Definitely going to do the tall suspension lift and get the Seat Concepts seat kit. Tried them out there yesterday. Perfect.
I just picked up a 21 Himalayan and yeah... I've had problems with the Tripper thing. It's like the moment my phone locks, it loses connection, which is kind of a problem. That's with the phone in the pocket of my jacket. To expect people to HAVE to fit a cradle for it to work because your bluetooth range is abysmal is kind of pants, honestly.
Hey Shaun, congratulations on getting the bike mate. Yeah I know what you mean. Try messing with the setting a bit on your phone. Someone said to me you need high accuracy enabled in data/GPS. Might help. Cheers 🍻
How would you compare this to the Meteor? I know there are so many factors. For my first bike I'm looking for something I can ride around town with (live in a big city area in Phoenix, AZ USA) and also take on a weekend cruise for a few hours outside of the city. Would the Meteor and the Himalayan both fit the bill for that? I'm mainly looking for comfort and stability. I'm 51 years old so I don't want to get a bike like a Ninja 400 that I can get myself in trouble with or hurt on.
Agreed they are similar in terms of both easy going. I guess the Himalayan will give you more options for road type and its also slightly more powerful. The himalayan might actually be the more comfortable for long day rides due to the riding position. Meteor has the styling edge.
I had a test ride a couple of days ago, I only had one issue with it, my knees kept hitting the edge of the petrol tank indent. Apart from that I liked it but because of the knee problem I wont be buying one.
Hi Michael, yep not a super quick bike but bags of character and it's genuinely good off road with the extra torque it packs over others. All at a lower price point as well. Might be doing the Interceptor next. Cheers 🍻
I know what you mean. Might be worth waiting a little longer as rumour is there will be a 650cc version called Sherpa. Now that I'd buy in an instant. But depends on what you need really. I took this very bike offroad and it was incredible. Video on that coming up in the next 2 weeks. Just need to do the editing.
Hey James, ones a cruise, the other road and light off road. Depends on your riding style and what you will use the bike for. Both great first bikes. Cheers 🍻
@Revviews Hi Rev, thanks for your speedy reply. I'm looking to commute and do some light touring on the road. Honestly, I'm probably going to go for the Meteor 350. I like the bike looks wise far more, and it also has some nice options for saddle bags, so touring isn't out of the question. I've always loved cruisers ever since I was a kid, only recently that I've been able to afford the licence, bike, etc. Either way, it was a fantastic review, my friend. You've earned a subscriber here. Have you done a review on the meteor 350 ?
@jamesnoonan7450 Thanks James and you're welcome mate. I certainly have mate. Review on the channel bud. Hope it helps. Any questions just ask. And good luck mate. Cheers 🍻
Can I ask why, for years of Himalayan videos, has NOBODY removed that blinking half upper fender.. now contemplating this purchase, I believe that would be my first project..pull it and tuck it away in a garbage bag on a top shelf somewhere never to be seen again..what is its purpose?
I took one of these out on a test ride and didn't want to give it back. I've got a Honda Grom at the moment and I think it would be a great step up from that. I'm very short at 160cm and although I can't flat foot the bike I can touch the floor with both feet on my tiptoes. I think it would be a great tourer and good for the odd bit of green laning. I'm not sure whether to go for the Euro 5 or the Euro 4 model so if anyone reading this can give me some insight that'd be much appreciated.
Hello mate. Awesome aren't they. Just pure fun and enjoyment. If needed I. Sure you can lower them a little or go for a lower seat. I'd go with the Euro 5 as its the same performance. Cheers 🍻
I love the sheer simplicity of the Himalayan; ok, it's not the fastest or the strongest bike, but he, who needs 90+ HP and weight & all those other things that make bikes so complicated nowadays. I have a Honda CBF600SA from 2010, which I ran into for a very cheap price (only 2400$), after not having ridden a bike for 38 years. Tell you, even changing 4 plugs needs a tank & side-fairing removal; with a motorcycle that ought not to be the case....Adjusting valve clearance with that Honda? Pls remove both camshafts, ridiculous, to say the least... Saw a YT movie here that showed the complete dismantling of the Himalayan engine within ONE hour....that's why I tend to look more and more toward the RE...As you showed that the bike can cope with two up (mostly ride with my wife), that'll help too...
Hi Ray, totally agree with you mate. It's a pure riding experience without all the faff that bikes come with today. I will also be putting out an offroad video we did on the same bike in the next few weeks and that in my mind cemented just how incredible this bike is. Came into its own and all the BS that some bikes come with these days was proven utterly useless. Sure for more extreme riding in the hands of a pro they might be needed but for the average rider the Himalayan offers a complete package for road and offroad and all for under £5k. So good thank you friend. Cheers 🍻

Hi Paul, hard to say, being honest. I was on the bike in total for about an hour and it felt good. But longer journeys are hard to tell. Have you got a dealer near you who can demo?
Hi Peter, I don't think it will as its using your phones data. Not 100% but I'd imagine it will just stop. But you can get usb kits fitted for peanuts if your phone needs a charge.
You're video is a great review... and like in the comments( the more i see this bike) the more I want 1. I maybe think about different sprocket for higher motorway speeds and lower rpm. Great video.!
May as well use a bike sat nav or just the phone really as unless you have a charger on the bike the Bluetooth connection will kill the phone battery before you are lost..which can be half the fun anyway! The bike is fabulous otherwise! Simple fun is often way better than complex speed

Hello from Canada - very nice review, thanks for the video. I want one for sure !
Hey buddy! Thank you dude, appreciate that. Pleased you have you with us mate. Lots more on the way. Weathers been pants here for videos of late. Back out this weekend. Cheers 🍻
that little and simple navi system on this budget bike is the coolest thing
Hey Chris, really is a cool bike and in the offroad video it shows just how capable it is. Worth a watch if you haven't seen already. Thanks brother.

I have never riden one, But I still wish the power was double in horse power and torque. But I guess I have my doubts as it is now. I do like the looks of it. It's spot on!

Hi GK, yeah I think it's probably my favorite. Cheers 🍻
Very slick buddy. Nice one 👍
Thanks Chris. Really enjoyed making this video. Also keen to see how she is with a bit of light offroad. Cheers 🍻
Cheers 🍻
Nice all around motorcycle. It sounds like the nav could use a little tweaking, but that`s about it. Good review, thanks.
Hey James, very nice friend. What colour did you go for? I know right, such good value for money. Cheers 🍻
A white one with grey black fade on tank not much colour choice as they are hard to get hold of at the moment. Apparently in the UK Royal Enfield were the top selling bike brand last year.
@@jamespegram8843 very nice mate. Yeah they are super popular. Soon supply here might become difficult as so much demand.
Ps. Took bike for first service today. £187.03. To change the oil and kick the tyres. Royal Enfield need to have a word with their UK dealers.
Yes you can do power wheelies!! The trick is you have to have a friend run beside you holding the front wheel in the air lol...... Get a scotoiler!
Great reviews. Did you prefer the Himalayan or Meteor, and why please?
Hey Marcin, that's a great question. Both machines are excellent in their own right. For me personally I would choose the Himalayan as daily riding would be more my style and the bonus of light off-road capability would appeal as well. Something I would definitely do more of. Plus the Himalayan has a tiny bit of extra power which would come in handy as I'm a big chap lol. Hope that helps. Cheers 🍻
@@Revviews Many thanks for reply. Ride safe/

How is the comfort level? I'm 6'6, 190lbs. I'm very interested in this bike and the Honda CB500X, but I love the styling on the Himalayan much more.

So how tall are you? I’m 6’7” and thinking about the new Himalayan, with a Seat Concepts tall seat from Cooperb, plus maybe the suspension lift as well.
Hi Mark, I'm 6ft4 and it was a great fit. Suspension lift is a good idea. Great bike, such good value and looks. Cheers 🍻
6'7 here as well. Great that you asked this question! cooperb and suspension lift, from where?
@@asmurk1276 Cooperb Motorcycles, Bozeat, Northampton. Look at their website and countless TH-cam videos on the Himalayan. They are about 80 to 90 miles from me, but they do deliver. I’m hoping to try one out locally at first, and there is also a dealer near where I work at Cambridge. I have only seen the tall and comfort seats, plus the other modifications through Cooperb, but also search TH-cam for Tec Bike Parts.

I like these they're friendly and forgiving, but then again I'm probably somewhat biased lol
Might help. Cheers 🍻
Can you get one with a starter button instead of ignition. I just prefer the ignition on the key. Otherwise I think I want one.
Hi Graham, I don't think they do have an option for that however I'm sure you could DIY a push start button. Maybe? Cheers 🍻
Looks like it would make a good second bike.
100% that fun bike that can take you almost anywhere. The off-road video on the same bike will be live next week.
Hey John, yeah think you must be tall like me. Very cool bike though. Cheers 🍻
They are pretty slow 70mph approx . But they have a certain charm .i would definitely make a rear shock cover and spray the bike with A.C.F.
Hi Michael, yep not a super quick bike but bags of character and it's genuinely good off road with the extra torque it packs over others. All at a lower price point as well. Might be doing the Interceptor next.

Can I ask why, for years of Himalayan videos, has NOBODY removed that blinking half upper fender.. now contemplating this purchase, I believe that would be my first project..pull it and tuck it away in a garbage bag on a top shelf somewhere never to be seen again..what is its purpose?
Hi Andrew, it's just a styling thing. Easy first job for you. Cheers 🍻
Cheers 🍻
Also a Grom owner - my first bike. Looking at a Himalayan next to do a bit more gravel riding and cruising. Did you decide to go for it?

Other than driving on the wrong side of the road the entire time, great review! LOL
Lol 😆 thank you mate. Glad you liked it.
Cheers 🍻
Does it have an USB/Charger on board? And if yes, where?
Hi Rani, UK spec doesn't mate. They can be fitted by a dealer as I asked this before taking her out. Hope that's helps brother. Cheers 🍻
