I kinda disagree with speaker in regards to the fact we should feel sorry for the Russian soldiers. They have options for surrender and/or refuse orders. It is Putin's war - but it is Russian soldiers who fight in it. They are responsible for that they do as much as him.

Putin will NOT use nuclear weapons in Ukraine:
1) the prevailing winds are west to east .... thus the fallout would settle in Russia ... perhaps even on Moscow
2) numerous countries might retaliate against Russia with their own nuclear weapons ... including some of Russia's sudo-allies
3) the poor maintenance of the Russian Nuclear Arsenal over the last 3 decades leads to the questions of reliability.
Trying to launch those weapons could trigger their immediate detonation.
Though, plenty of idiots will fall for the silly Russian empty threats.
