So wonderful to see you back in the saddle again. Take very good care of yourself and you will have no issue achieving your goal. Nice treat for me to see the ocean today. I can almost smell the salt...:)
You are one brave and tough rider to be getting back in the saddle so soon post injury. An important part of being our age, is knowing when to push ourselves. Yahooo ladies.
I do think that at this point in my life, I can take some basic medical advice and "tailor" it to what I know about me. Brave or stupid (maybe they are related) I'm going for it!
@@Kelly_Ben thank you. Im afraid a lot of our videos over the winter will be fields and ocean so I’m glad to hear they are nice to see! Yes post injury is nerve wracking and it’s comforting to know that others have been there
That's awesome. The videos may not be weekly for a bit - until I can figure out how to share things around the farm because our miles will be reduced especially during November - hunting season..so please don't give up on us!
Hi, im a new subscriber, i saw the meet Penny video and now this one 😊 we live in the Netherlands, my daughter of 15 years and i are starting our nrps, dutch arabian mix mare of three hand a half years now, she is doing ok, vew accidents, she threw me off so im cautious now and wait till my daughter is a bit further with her, i have a back hernia, but it is my dream to once ride my own horse again and then long distances ❤ you are very cool lynn riding your arabian with a broken ankle 😎 and the whole endurance ridimg is very cool!
Thanks! Sounds like you and your daughter have a wonderful future ahead of you! I have learned that the more in-hand things we do with our horses, the more they trust us under saddle...not sure if that helps or not. Be safe and enjoy yourselves!!
@diaryofanendurancerider it does! We have her sinds she was a yearling and she is an angel on the ground, mydaughter does Horsemanship trics, lounging and yielding goes well, and me and her are the endurance team, but than we both walk 😁 for hours and she is not buddy sour or spooky at all. My daughter rides daily for years so she rides very good, but i had pony's when i was young, when i get on her after my daughter she is fine but if i go first she jumps and 1 one jump she threw me off, i think because im more stiff getting on with my back problem, she thinks its weird.. makes me a little sad because i want it so bad but it is safer to wait till she is a bit longer under saddle, the saddle fitter is coming and i curious if our saddle is ok!
Yep. Hate those things. They sit gathering dust in the basement over the years but every once in a while they get pulled out. Right now they are propped up by the door but I haven't needed them for weeks so hopefully they start gathering dust again!

Yes, it's wonderful to be back in the saddle again AND to have friends to ride with...including you guys!

Great video! What a beautiful place to be, with fields and ocean. I'm glad you're getting back in the saddle! Post injury is always nerve wracking.

Were you on crutches?
