Well done Olivia great control those bends were very scary you did amazing to get him back and how brave to canter again. Looking forward to your next endurance ride. 👍
To keep the pace...half halting on 4 and as long as the horse is slowing a bit and rebalancing, "relax' until the next time you get to 4 and then half halt again....keep doing til the horse is keeping the pace you want then extent to 8, etc. It might also be relaxing her to count out loud!
Why on earth are you saying "whoa" and never stopping the horse? "Whoa" should mean stop every single time. I also don't understand why you're scared to ride by the other horses?
@@thefishyhorseman some people teach their horses that whoa means to stop and for those horses, whoa should only be said when your intention is to stop. For us, we say often say a long drawn out whoaaaa for slowing down. Stop is usually a very loud, short word. Like “ho” I always check with whomever owns/cares for a horse before I ride to find out how their horse has been trained!
Wow well done Olivia! That’s impressive 🎉
Bravo young lady. Tracey (Australia)
Fantastic recovery from a bolt! You are very brave, Olivia, & did a wonderful job of gaining control. ❤
Well ridden! You didn't let his attempt to run over you succeed and you did it without freaking out. Good job.
Way to go Olivia. Well done.
