Oh nah he did worse before that. He ran over Michael Schneider, after trespassing at his store for like the 4th time since he was banned for running off his customers.
We have to remember this is a kid's show. Considering Chris has done some not-so-family-friendly stuff on the internet it wouldn't be wise to outright acknowledge his existence in the show.
0:55 this is more of a minor correction. Sonic Boom was intended to be an alt universe spinoff, not a reboot. The reason why it seemed that was is because it was marketed as a reboot.
I think my favorite scene I’ve seen in this show is this completely out of context clip I saw where Knuckles says “Don’t look at me, I’m a monster! A MONSTER!” so Sonic says “Hope this turns out better than the time he thought he was a ballerina”. It then cuts to Knuckles saying “Don’t look at me, I’m a ballerina! A BALLERINA!” And I think after that he dances away with the Nutcracker music playing.
I loved this show as a kid and found it hilarious, and this is my favorite piece of sonic media. My only complaint is that shadow only appeared in the seasons finale and was the bad guy. I like it more when they have a sibling rivalry relationship
I love Sonic Boom, I've watched the whole series and there are times its made me laugh out loud. For anyone that is a dedicated Sonic fan and hasn't seen it and you want to see it there's one thing I advise, DO NOT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY.
I think this is a clever idea for an episode, but I do feel it helps bring more attention to Chris-chan and all of the many issues with said individual, which is what I see as one of the things that really helped mess up their life.
Chris Chan's lifestory is such a disturbing, gutwrenching, & infuriating tragedy! At the end of the day, we are talking about a moderately autistic person with the mental capacity of a 7-year-old(despite what Chris believes, they're clearly not high-functioning) who was failed spectacularly by their moronic parents, and who was driven batshit insane through being relentlessly bullied, deceived, & manipulated online for over 15 years! Chris is a victim. I'm not saying that Chris has never done anything wrong, but ultimately, Chris is a victim. Chris was born to the wrong people at the wrong time. A time when there was a very limited understanding of autism among medical professionals.
Honestly, this video doesn’t really do a good job to describe the show because of the simple fact, that you choose to review one of the (if not the) worst episode out of the 2 seasons of the show, and then judge the entire series based on it… And while the show is far from perfect It is still actually pretty good for what it is
I remember catching this show on cartoon network at 6 am. I watched it and thought it was good. Managed to watch it on boomerang and I thought it was still good, but does it deserve a 3rd season? To be honest, it would be cool to see one, but it shouldn't be hyped up, but a 3rd season would be cool to see
I'm just after rewatching it. It's still entertaining, but you might have a point there about it being better in snippets as opposed to the full episode. I also watched Sam & Max's "The Friend for Life" and Freakazoid's "And Fanboy Is His Name" prior to rewatching this as they covered the same subject matter and they were both funnier and better paced.
To be fair I was warching Sonic Boom even while it was still going... ...on TH-cam at least. The review was on point with how I felt. Fine but at its best when you can skim through the episode for the funny parts. Which is a shame because those funny parts are well worth it.
I remember watching Sonic Boom on Cartoon Network and Boomerang, and despite that I'm not very into the Sonic's franchise (played some games before but still I'm unfamiliar with lots of things 😂), still it was a darn good show to watch it!. Nice episodes, good script, great voice acting, I really liked the new artstyle of the characters and it had really some good jokes and gags on it (despite that various of them was clearly targeted to the fandom and I felt kind lost in the aspect of: "Did I missed something?" 😂).
Hey wait a minute, i just realized two things in this video. The first is you (at least to me) implied that all bad apples in any fanbase is Chris-chan. Even if the circumstances are different. Like the RWBY fanbase getting into bloody wars over thier ships or being very meticulous with thier head canon. The second is, if anyone watches a collection of clips on TH-cam, then we would know how the characters were butchered, especially dumb Knuckles. So the fact you were surprised with how the characters were handled has led me to think you only saw one clip per character, rather than a compilation of clips. Other than that, great review.
Original video released in 2021. Hence why it mentions Primes concept art. This is a remake. Adding in the character talking, upgrading the footage and audio, adding music, etc.
I rewatched the two seasons and I still again not sure how do people think when it comes to story writing in shows like sonic the hedgehog. I like sonic boom and wasn’t very critical about the show I just watch it and think of it this way that I’m watching through an invisible camera seeing the typical adventure of sonic. There are some moments I found funny that wasn’t clipped in TH-cam. I honestly think the franchise probably would’ve done better if sega didn’t do everything all at once instead they should’ve done one thing at a time. starting with advertising the franchise they probably should’ve called it a new perspective or another universe of Sonic instead of calling it a reboot to possibly lower the hate fire from sonic fans. The show could have some comedy episodes but also have some story progression episodes to make it more interesting to watch that would probably give more views and budget for the animation. Then start making the video game so the game designers know the general idea of all the characters, areas of environment, ect to make things consistent but try add a new spin on a new big villain and enemies to fight obviously not make it a game exclusive to a console that’s basically the beta version of the Nintendo Switch and go for console that can actually handle the game without having to sacrifice so many ideas in order for the console to handle it and be given more development time to make the game better in quality Lastly make the merchandise on whatever is sonic boom related
@@Jeff-gj7ko when he first started out he wasn't. At the time he was trying a lot of different things. His own TH-cam channel, photography, and starting his own recording studio. (Which has become Lazuarts) over the years he's gotten to work with Crunchyroll on several anime projects. But he's also branched out, as Starman Studios has provided voice work, sfx, and music for several projects and films. I'm lucky he still works with me on my videos. Due to his professionalism he's the one who pushed me to start focusing on our channel mascot and having him animated.
I feel like it's unfair to say that this show has nothing of value just because this is something that's clearly not for you. I love Sonic Boom and wish it got a 3rd season. I love the humor of this show outside of the meta/self-aware jokes. This episode in particular is one of my favorite episodes. The show is very funny and you come back for the characters. The reason why that feminist Knuckles scene work so well is because his character is an idiot so saying something intelligent makes the joke work. I do wish Knuckles had more scene like that but overall I love this show. Maybe it would've had a third season if the time slot of it wasn't horrible.
I find it interesting that a random fan can capture and torture Sonic, but Eggman couldn't. lol
And all it took was a moped crash going 5 miles an hour on a sandy beach lol
@@Patbacknitro2 right! Funny toon logic at its best
Maybe because it was unexpected?
The fact sonic team actually replied to a Chris Chan post while in their sonic boom era is hilarious

Funny enough, Mark later appears in the series finale working at a videogame store. So unlike Chris Chan, he has a job.

I love Sonic Boom, and I honestly think this is one of their best episodes. It’s really funny.
“Ooh, SonAmy! Spicy!”
I watched sonic boom as if it was an in universe show that Sonic had been contractually obligated to be in.
Not a bad way to go about it lol.
the scene of that guy trying to find something family friendly and it makes me say "wtf!"
