i know people were putting this episode down but...come on! it was pretty light hearted and happy....you dont get to many of those moments in smallville history! ahah
This episode has some of the important turning points. Clark&Tess and Clark&Lois. Lois was at her neediest, least confident, most messy and manipulative in this episode and basically admitted to CK that she cannot deliver on his desire for a traditional relationship, and he literally realizes in that mess that he wants the always and forever with her. I don’t mind episodes that move character plots forward.
anybody else notice the "JAWS" music at :27 when she says "engaged" and the camera zooms in on his face?? very clever, since he looks like he's afraid he's about to be attacked.
Some Smallville fans are probably too young to remember Teri Hatcher's "cooking ability". She was the worst cook in the world. Pure Clark (Dean Cain) suffered during that part of the series. Both shows are true to the comic book history where Lois Lane was lousy at cooking. Hatcher took cooking lessons from a chef I think. That was ONE smart dog - he most likely would have gotten sick eating that stuff that Erica made.
I really liked the how the episode for its light heartedness, but i also liked the part where it took a massive U-turn and had clark ready to take revenge on tess.

Shelby takes one sniff of the pot roast and thinks "Now THIS looks like a job for Superman!"
