Nice mid winter canoeing fix for me! Thank you. I prefer my eastern slopes mountain rivers. Zero portages. I am 60 years old so thats my excuse lol. Love your stuff though. No whining
Good to see you again! While this may be a 2021 adventure, the content is excellent. Your YT followers really like your video content. Keep it up Brad!!
Really well done. I have been curious about how bad it might be on the northern parts of your route. As a trip option, I was considering going from Anima-Nipissing to Sugar via Isbister, down through to Ferguson Bay last year, but opted instead for a solo from Sturgeon Falls down the French to Key River-69 (which I had never done). So I can put the previous loop trip option on a list for 2025, now that you've shown me what I might endure. You guys were great. Super team.
I have done both variations now. Went Anima Nip-Sugar in 2022 via Muskego river (more like creek). There has been a lot more route maintenance since we went through the first time. We put up portage signs on the 2nd pass through as well. Super nice area. Great sites on Sugar, Isbister and Turner Lakes. Probably have that other vid up at somepoint once I'm done working on some of the bigger projects.
Thank-you for your ''sufferfest'' - a very nice trip although I didn't feel the suffering. You were having a great time and good for you! And as for ''sufferfest'' - I thought that was the Christmas Holidays? haha Have a great day! 🙂
HOORAAAA! Damn, youre back! Where the heck have you been? What has been taking up your life and time? I’ve missed your adventures. Nobody makes films like you two.
Thanks! Life has been busy, so I've had less time to edit than I'd like. House Reno's, new job, etc. Happy to hear though, we have been on a few big adventures that we hope to share this winter!
Dad's got a Temagami video of the two of us coming out soon. I'm working through a backog of these trip videos now too! Should hopefully see a bit more of us in the short term here!
Nice to see an "Explore the Back Country"...been a long time. Hey, guys....alcohol is not your friend....it has a way of ruining lives and families....use intelligent discretion...better yet, don't use

"We're looking for a bit of a suffer-fest on this one". Yeah, you're wired differently than I am....
Hello Brad! Have not seen you on in a while or your dad either. Nice trip but sure looked like a butt whoopin!

@@ExploreTheBackcountry Nice, I enjoy you and your dad's video's!
way to go guys . mud is bad
I swear, I've encountered most of my share of mud in Temagami. Just seems to be the place for it
@@ExploreTheBackcountry Worse i don't like the rocky portages . Prefer Algonquin and the better fishing
Nice to see an "Explore the Back Country"...been a long time.
